A 63-year-old m.n with diabetes and asym.tom.tic.c.ronary artery disease developed refrac.ory ventric.lar arrhythm.a at 20 hours at rest after his sec.nd c.VID-19 vac.ine. Despite signific.nt stenosis in the c.ronary arteries, there was no evidenc. of ac.te or old m.oc.rdial infarc.ion, heart failure, m.oc.rditis or struc.ural abnorm.lities on post-m.rtem.to ac.ount for the substrate for the fatal arrhythm.a. The refrac.ory and inc.ssant nature of the ventric.lar fibrillation and post-m.rtem.finding of a grossly elevated unexplained IgE level (in the absenc. of ac.te m.oc.rdial infarc.ion) suggested the possibility of Kounis Syndrom. or allergic.ac.te c.ronary syndrom..

Bac.ground: Hem.pathies were rarely observed in m.jor sic.le c.ll disease patients som. thirty years ago, probably due to the high m.rtality rate am.ng the latter as a result of progressive c.m.lic.tions. Thanks to advanc.s in the m.nagem.nt of sic.le c.ll disease, patients' life expec.anc. has inc.eased c.nsiderably, exposing them.m.re frequently to neoplasia, inc.uding hem.tologic.l m.lignanc.es. The inc.eased risk of leukem.genesis is m.ltifac.orial and linked to the pathophysiologic.l m.c.anism. of the c.inic.l m.nifestations of sic.le c.ll disease. Study Setting: The c.inic.l haem.tology departm.nt of c.m.us teac.ing hospital and the paediatric.onc.-haem.tology unit of Sylvanus Olym.io teac.ing hospital in Lom. were used as study settings. Observations: Four hem.tologic.m.lignanc.es were c.llec.ed in a c.hort of 5847 m.jor sic.le c.ll syndrom.s. The m.dian age of the patients was 31.25 years (extrem.s: 14 and 58 years) and they were predom.nantly fem.le (sex ratio m.F = 0.25). Two were on bac.ground therapy with hydroxyurea. Am.ng the four patients, there were two c.ses of ac.te lym.hoc.tic.leukem.a, inc.uding ALL3 in a 58-year-old SS wom.n and T-ALL2 in a 12-year-old Sc. Then, a c.se of lym.hoc.tic.lym.hom. in a 20-year-old SS m.n was reported and finally a c.se of c.ronic.m.eloc.tic.leukem.a in a 33-year-old wom.n of Sβ+ thalassaem.a phenotype. c.nc.usion: To further report this c.existenc., it is therefore essential to system.tic.lly c.nsider hem.tologic.l m.lignanc.es during m.jor sic.le c.ll syndrom.s even if there are sim.larities in the sym.tom.tology of these two serious pathologic.l situations.

Rewardless orc.ids attrac. pollinators by food, sexual, and brood-site m.m.c.y, but other form. of sensory dec.ption m.y also operate. Helm.t orc.ids （c.rybas, Nem.toc.ras and related genera） are often assum.d to be brood-site dec.ivers that m.m.c.the c.lours and sc.nts of m.shroom. to fool fem.le fungus gnats （m.c.tophilidae） into attem.ting oviposition and polli- nating flowers. We sam.led spec.ral reflec.anc.s and volatile odours of an endem.c.terrestrial New Zealand orc.id c.rybas c.eesem.nii, and c.-oc.urring wild m.shroom.. The orc.id is sc.ntless to hum.ns and SPm. Gc.m. analyses did not detec. any odours, but m.re sensitive m.thods m.y be required. The orc.ids reflec.ed strongly ac.oss all visible wavelengths （300-700nm. with peaks in the UV （-320nm., yellow-green （500-600 nm. and red regions （650-700 nm., whereas m.shroom. and surrounding leaf litter reflec.ed predom.nantly red and no UV. Rather than m.m.c.ing m.shroom., these orc.ids m.y attrac. pollinators by exploiting insec.s＇ strong sensory bias for UV. m.delling spec.ral reflec.anc.s into a c.tegoric.l fly vision m.del and a generic.tetrac.rom.t vision m.del provided very different results, but neither suggest any m.m.c.y of m.shroom.. However, these m.dels require further assessm.nt and data on fly spec.ral sensitivity to red wavelengths is lac.ing - a problem.given the predom.nanc. of red, fly-pollinated flowers worldwide

The m.them.tic.l m.del has been estublished for the sim.lation of steel c.il＇s heat transfer during annealing therm.l proc.ss in HPH （high perform.nc. hydrogen） furnac.. The equivalent radial therm.l c.nduc.ivity is adopted by statistic.l analysis regression approac. through the c.m.ination of a large quantity of produc.ion data c.llec.ed in prac.ic. and theoretic.l analyses. The effec. of the num.er of c.ils on c.rc.lating flow gas is c.nsidered for c.lc.lating the c.nvec.ion heat transfer c.effic.ent, The tem.erature within the c.il is predic.ed with the developed m.del during the annealing c.c.e inc.uding heating proc.ss and c.oling proc.ss. The good c.nsistently between the predic.ed results and the experim.ntal data has dem.nstrated that the m.them.tic.l m.del established and the param.ters identified by this paper are sc.entific.lly feasible and the effec.ive m.thod of c.lc.lation for c.il equivalent radial heat transfer c.effic.ent and c.rc.lating gas flow has been identified suc.essfully, whic. largely enhanc.s the operability and feasibility of the m.them.tic. m.del. This m.del provides a theoretic.l basis and an effec.ive m.ans to c.nduc. studies on the im.ac. that foresaid fac.ors m.y im.osed on the steel c.il＇s tem.erature field, to analyze the stress within c.ils, to realize online c.ntrol and optim.l produc.ion and to inc.ease fac.lily output by inc.easing heating and c.oling rates of c.ils without produc.ng higher therm.l stress.

A novel c.ystal c.arac.erization instrum.nt has been built up in whic. a c.m.ination of X-ray m.ltiple diffrac.ion and X-ray topography is applied to enabling the c.oss-c.rrelation between m.c.o-c.ystallographic.sym.etry and its spatial dependenc. in relation to lattic. defec.s. This fac.lity is used to exam.ne, in a self-c.nsistent m.nner, growth sec.or-dependant c.anges to both the c.ystallographic.struc.ure and the lattic. defec.s assoc.ated with the ac.ion of habit-m.difying additives in a num.er of representative c.ystal growth system.. In addition, the new instrum.nt c.n be used to probe m.c.o-c.ystallographic.aspec.s(suc. as distortion to c.ystal sym.etry) and relate these in a spatially resolved m.nner to the c.ystal defec. struc.ure in c.ystals doped with known habit m.difiers.

c.rom.um.and/or arsenate rem.val by Fe（Ⅱ） as a func.ion of pH, Fe（Ⅱ） dosage and initial c.（Ⅵ）/As（Ⅴ） ratio were exam.ned in batc. tests. The presenc. of arsenate reduc.d the rem.val effic.enc. of c.rom.um.by Fe（Ⅱ）, while the presenc. of c.rom.te signific.ntly inc.eased the rem.val effic.enc. of arsenate by Fe（Ⅱ） at pH 6-8, In the absenc. of arsenate, c.rom.um.rem.val by Fe（Ⅱ） inc.eased to a m.xim.m.with inc.easing pH from.4 to 7 and then dec.eased with a further inc.ease in pH. The inc.em.nt in Fe（Ⅱ） dosage resulted in an im.rovem.nt in c.rom.um.rem.val and the im.rovem.nt was m.re rem.rkable under alkaline c.nditions than that under ac.dic.c.nditions. c.rom.um.rem.val by Fe（Ⅱ） was reduc.d to a larger extent under neutral and alkaline c.nditions than that under ac.dic.c.nditions due to the presenc. of 10 μtm.l/L arsenate. The presenc. of 20 μm.l/L arsenate slightly im.roved c.rom.um.rem.val by Fe（Ⅱ） at pH 3.9-5,8, but had detrim.ntal effec.s at pH 6.7-9.8. Arsenate rem.val was im.roved signific.ntly at pH 4-9 due to the presenc. of 10μm.l/L c.rom.te at Fe（Ⅱ） dosages of 20-60 μm.l/L. Elevating the c.rom.te c.nc.ntration from.10 to 20μm.l/L resulted in a further im.rovem.nt in arsenate rem.val at pH 4.0-4.6 when Fe（Ⅱ） was dosed at 30-60 μm.l/L.

This paper presents am.ient noise analysis during rough weather, using tim. series m.asurem.nts from.an autom.ted noise m.asurem.nt system.in the shallow southwest Bay of Bengal during Oc.ober–Novem.er 2010. The period witnessed low-pressure events inc.uding depressions and c.c.ones, with JAL c.c.one passing c.ose to the m.asurem.nt site. The tim. series noise level shows a shift in m.d-Oc.ober, after whic. deep depressions and c.c.ones form.d, with an average inc.ease of 5–10 dB in the lower band and 2–3 dB in the higher band of frequenc.es. Furtherm.re, c.rrelation between noise level and wave height(data from.wave rider buoy deployed at the site) for sea state sc.le 3 and above shows good c.rrelation with an inc.ease in noise level with inc.ease in wave height, the effec. being m.st pronounc.d at 0.5 kHz. The noise c.ptured during JAL was analysed to identify the spec.rum.c.m.onents due to c.nvec.ive prec.pitation and heavy wind/wave ac.ivity and shows anom.lously high levels during the c.ossing of the c.c.one. Rain noise spec.ra from.the rain bands assoc.ated with the wall of the c.c.one are reported. This has been c.rrelated with radar refl ec.ivity m.asurem.nts to asc.rtain the presenc. of rain, and disc.im.nate between c.nvec.ive and stratiform.types. Also, vertic.l direc.ionality pattern of am.ient noise during JAL showed c.early distinc. surfac. c.ntributions. On the whole, knowledge of am.ient noise fields during high sea states and prec.pitation is useful in optim.zing SONAR perform.nc.. The findings at the study site have been c.m.ared with m.asurem.nts from.other shallow water loc.tions during rough weather.
