a. experim.nt wa. conducted to test the effica.y of a.m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.ound the tree trunk with one spra. of Cyperm.thrin @ 1 m./l a.d turm.ric powder extra.t @ 15 g/500m. of wa.er a.plied in integra.ed a.proa.hes a.a.nst m.ngo m.a.ybug on m.ngo tree. There were 7 trea.m.nts including a.control. The trea.m.nts were m.cha.ica. ba.rier, Cyperm.thrin spra. @ 1 m./l, Turm.ric powder spra. @ 15 g/500m. of wa.er, Cyperm.thrin spra. + Turm.ric spra., Cyperm.thrin spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier, Turm.ric + m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.d untrea.ed control. Three-yea.-old m.ngo pla.ts gra.ted from.a.5-yea.-old m.ngo tree (Va.iety a.0}opa.i) a.d pla.ted in pots were used in the experim.nt. The trea.m.nt, Cyperm.thrin spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier ga.e the highest reduction of m.ngo m.a.ybug popula.ion 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turm.ric spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.d showed 81.13% to 86.04% a.d m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.one showed 81.13% to 84.59% popula.ion reduction. Turm.ric powder extra.t showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) popula.ion reduction of m.ngo m.a.ybug which wa. lowest com.a.ed to other trea.m.nts.

The pressure vessel is subject to a.isym.etric m.cha.ica. a.d therm.l loa.ings within a.uniform.m.gnetic field. The m.teria. properties of the FGm.a.e considered a. the power-la. distribution a.ong the thickness. Na.ier’s equa.ion, which is a.second-order ordina.y differentia. equa.ion, is derived from.the m.cha.ica. equilibrium.equa.ion with the considera.ion of the therm.l stresses a.d the Lorentz force resulting from.the m.gnetic field. The distributions of the displa.em.nt, stra.ns, a.d stresses a.e determ.ned by the exa.t solution to Na.ier’s equa.ion. Num.rica. results cla.ify the influence of the therm.l loa.ing, m.gnetic field, non-hom.geneity consta.t, interna. pressure, a.d a.gula. velocity on the m.gneto-therm.-ela.tic response of the functiona.ly gra.ed spherica. vessel. The tribologica. properties of these com.osites with different weight fra.tions of a.2O3 a.d SiC were investiga.ed; extrusion process significa.tly reduces the extent of porosity a.ter cold com.a.tion a.d sintering processes. Hybridiza.ion of the two reinforcem.nts im.roved ha.dness a.d wea. resista.ce of the com.osites. With a. increa.e in SiC content, ha.dness wa. increa.ed a.d consequently the wea. resista.ce wa. enha.ced a.so. Sca.ning electron m.croscopy observa.ions show a.better interfa.ia. bond between m.trix a.d reinforcem.nts a.d a.better distribution of the reinforcem.nts.

It is found tha. the volum. flow ra.e is influenced significa.tly by Weissenberg num.er W e a.d the cilia.length pa.a.0}ter ε. The com.uta.iona. results a.e presented gra.hica.ly to see the effects of va.ious physica. pa.a.0}ters. Fina.ly, the a.a.ysis is a.plied a.d com.a.ed with the observed va.ue of the flow ra.e of sperm.tic fluid in the ductus efferentes of the m.le reproductive tra.k. The volum. flow ra.e is reported closed to the estim.ted va.ue 6 × 10 -3 m./h in the hum.n ductus efferentes when W e = 0.5 a.d ε is nea. by 0.25.
