The complete and incomplete fusion cross sections for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were measured using the in-beamγ-ray method around the Coulomb *** cross sections of(deuteron captured)incomplete fusion(ICF)products were re-quantified experimentally for this reaction *** results reveal that the ICF cross section is equivalent to that of complete fusion(CF)above the Coulomb barrier and dominant near or below the Coulomb barrier.A theoretical calculation based on the continuum discretized coupled channel(CDCC)method was performed for the aforementioned CF and ICF cross sections;the result is consistent with the *** universal fusion function(UFF)was also compared with the measured CF cross section for different barrier parameters,demonstrating that the CF suppression factor is significantly influenced by the choice of potential,which can reflect both dynamic and static effects of breakup on the fusion process.

Evaluating instrumented Charpy impact strain signals using curve fitting equations

An effective and simple way to develop equations from impact strain signals was *** research has been performed in this area,but this equation is very important for evaluating input signals in finite element analysis impact tests and for obtaining additional information on material deformation and fracture processes under impact *** this purpose,dynamic impact responses were examined through signals obtained from a strain gauge installed on an impact striker connected to a data acquisition *** 6061-T6 was used to extract strain responses on the striker during Charpy impact *** analysis was performed using the I-kaz method,and curve fitting equations based on the equation for vibration response under a non-periodic force were used to evaluate the Charpy impact *** I-kaz coefficients and curve fitting equations were then compared and discussed with related parameters,such as velocities and *** and thickness were found to be related to the strain signal patterns,curve fitting equations and I-kaz *** equations developed using this method had R2 values greater than 97.7%.Finally,the constructed equations were determined to be suitable for evaluating Charpy impact strain signal patterns and obtaining additional information on fracture processes under impact loading.

A new model for the expansion tube considering the stress coupling:Theory,experiments and simulations

Based on the two-arc profile assumption,the expansion deformation and energy absorption of circular tubes compressed by conical-cylindrical dies were ***,the deformation of the two arcs was analyzed independently and an improved model denoted as model-I was ***,by further involving the coupling between the bending moment and membrane forces,a more elaborate model,i.e.,model-II was ***,experiments and simulations were conducted to verify the models,which show that,compared with previous theoretical models,model-II could not only capture the prominent features of the deformation,but also improve the prediction accuracy of the steady driving force *** means of this model,it was found that the critical semi-conical angle,which makes the driving force minimum,increases with the increase of the friction coefficient,expansion ratio as well as the radius/thickness ratio of the ***,the energy dissipation due to stretching is always greater than that of bending,while the friction dissipation can account for the largest proportion at small semi-conical angle or large friction *** a certain friction and die conditions,the specific energy absorption of expanded tubes can be much higher than that under progressive collapse mode.

In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray images and natural images from the matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Infrared, Diffuse Reflectance and Dielectric Studies ofAntimony Trisulphide

Infrared absorption spectra of orange, black and transferred Sb//2S//3 samples have been studied in the spectral range 200-4000 cm** minus **1. The pronounced difference between the different samples is the appearance of excess sulphur present in the orange and transferred samples except those of transferred at 543 K and the black Sb//2S//3. The change of sharpness of some IR peaks reveals the amorphous/crystalline change. The effect of the degree of crystallinity and stoichiometry on the energy gap values was investigated by using optical method. The obtained dielectric parameters epsilon prime and epsilon double prime of the different samples are thoroughly affected by the degree of crystallinity and smoothly affected by either the frequency or the temperature or both, except at lower frequencies. Energy transport for ion acoustic waves in a spin polarized quantum plasma

The separate spin evolution quantum hydrodynamics(SSE-QHD)model is used to investigate the energy behavior for ion acoustic waves in degenerate quantum *** results show that the energy flow speed decreases with spin polarization *** is also shown that it decreases with the increasing rate up to a certain range of wave number and then it goes to zero *** is observed that Bohm potential suppresses the energy flow *** is also noticed that the energy flow speed deviates from the group velocity even in the absence of Bohm potential ***,the contribution of of Bohm poential effect in spin polarized plasma reduces the extent of deviation.

Non-monotonic temperature evolution of nonlocal structure–dynamics correlation in Cuzr glass-forming liquids

The structure–dynamics correlations in a nonlocal manner were investigated in Cuzr metallic glass-forming liquids via classical molecular dynamics simulations.A spatial coarse-graining approach was employed to incorporate the nonlocal structural information of given structural order parameters in the structure–dynamics *** is found that the correlation between structure order parameters and dynamics increases with increasing coarse-graining length and has a characteristic length ***,the characteristic correlation length exhibits a non-monotonic temperature evolution as temperature approaches glass transition temperature,which is not sensitive to the considered structure order *** results unveil a striking change in the structure–dynamics correlation,which involves no fitting theoretical *** findings provide new insight into the structure–dynamics correlation in glass transition.

Crystallization kinetics of overlapping phases in Se70Te15Sb15 using isoconversional methods

The crystallization kinetics of Se70Te15Sb15 chalcogenide glass was studied by Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC) under non-isothermal conditions. This glass was found to have a double glass transition and double overlapped crystalline phases. The overlapped crystalline phases were successfully separated using the Gaussian fit model. The activation energy, Ec, and Avrami index, n, were determined by analyzing the data using the matausita et. al. method. A strong heating rate depending on the activation energy for the two crystalline peaks was observed. The results indicated that the transformation from amorphous to crystalline phases is a complex process involving different mechanisms of nucleation and growth. The variation of activation energy with crystalline fraction was determined by Kissenger–Akahira–Sunose(KAS) method. The obtained results of directly fitting the experimental DSC data to the calculated DSC curves indicated that the crystallization process of Se70Te15Sb15 glass cannot be satisfactorily described by the Johnson–mehl–Avrami(JmA) model. Simulation results indicated that the Sestak–Berggren(SB) model is more suitable to describe the crystallization process for the studied glass. The crystalline phases for the two events were identified by using x-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEm).
