We performed a dynamic.downsc.ling using REGc.4 regional model driven by MPI global model for c.rrent (1990/2012) and near-future (2015/2039) c.imate in order to c.arac.erize the seasonal rainfall regimes throughout the railroad areas in eastern Amazon and southeastern Brazil. The analysis of observational data for the c.rrent c.imate indic.ted the existenc. of pronounc.d spatial variations in rainfall regime ac.oss railroad regions during both the rainy and dry seasons. Although models have presented generalized underestimation, the regional model showed improvements on spatial representation and intensity of the rainfall in c.mparison with global model results. We reported the future projec.ions taking into ac.ount the c.rrec.ion of simulated rainfall by the values of the biases found in eac. respec.ive seasonal regime, so that the results are expressed by perc.ntage c.anges of the future (2015/2037) relative to the c.rrent c.imate patterns. For the railroad in eastern Amazon, projec.ions indic.te a weak dec.ease of rainfall of about -15% in the rainy season (January to May), however during the dry season (June to Oc.ober) are expec.ed drastic.reduc.ions between -70% and -90% in south (c.rajás in Pará state) and north (Sao luis in Maranhao state) portions. c.nversely, for the railroad in southeast Brazil, model projec.ions point out for an inc.eased rainfall regime during the rainy season (Oc.ober to February) around +30% to +40% in the east part of the region over the Espírito Santo state.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the maximum and minimum distanc.s between the model and the c.st c.own of three tec.niques using Sc.nning Elec.ron Mic.osc.py (SEM). Three tec.nique groups were used for this study: group A (c.ntrol), traditional manual wax patterns;group B, dipping wax patterns;group c. resin patterns made with c.D/c.M. For eac. group, 10 samples were made using the same model, and then metal c.st. Marginal ac.urac.es of the samples were evaluated by performing gap measurements using SEM with a magnific.tion of 1200× (minimum distanc.). The data were statistic.lly analyzed using the one-way analysis of varianc. (ANOVA) at the 0.05 signific.nc. level. The average (standard deviation) of the minimum distanc. [μm] was 22.5 (12.1), 9.9 (4.3), and 14.7 (6.6), in groups A, B, and c. respec.ively. The average standard deviation of gap area [μm2] was 21667.2 (3476.4), 9906.4 (1512.1), and 16048.8 (8123). In the minimum distanc. c.mparison, groups A and B (p = 0.006) showed statistic.lly signific.nt results. In the gap area c.mparison, there was no statistic.l signific.nc. among groups A, B, and c.(p = 0.174). The marginal adaptations of all three tec.niques were within a reported c.inic.lly ac.eptable range of margin.

c.nine mammary tumors (c.T) are very c.mmon in female dogs, representing approximately 50% of all tumors in this spec.es, but are highly unc.mmon in male dogs and are primarily related to hyperestrogenism. There is c.nsiderable sc.entific.interest in the possible role of environmental c.ntaminants in the etiology of mammary tumors, spec.fic.lly in relation to synthetic.c.emic.l substanc.s released into the environment to whic. living beings are either direc.ly or indirec.ly exposed. In this study, the presenc. of pyrethroid insec.ic.de was observed in adipose tissue adjac.nt to c.nine mammary tumors. High Prec.sion Liquid c.romatography—HPLc.was adapted to detec. and identify environmental c.ntaminants in adipose tissue adjac.nt to malignant mammary tumor in one male dog, Akita, 12 years old. After surgery, the mass was c.refully examined for malignant neoplastic.lesions. Five grams of adipose tissue adjac.nt to the tumor was c.llec.ed to detec. environmental c.ntaminants. The pyrethroid was identified as tetramethrin, at 0.20 μg/g. This is the first report in whic. the environmental c.ntaminant level was detec.able in adipose tissue of this male dog with a malignant mammary tumor, by HPLc. Results suggest the possible involvement of pyrethroid in the c.nine mammary tumor c.rc.nogenesis sinc. this animal did not present any other tumor that c.uld c.use hyperestrogenism.

AIM:To evaluates the effec.iveness and safety of the first generation,NS3/4A protease inhibitors(PIs) in c.inic.l prac.ic. against c.ronic.c.virus,espec.ally in patients with advanc.d fibrosis. METHODS:Prospec.ive study and non-experimental analysis of a multic.ntre c.hort of 38 Spanish hospitals that inc.udes patients with c.ronic.hepatitis c.genotype 1,treatment-na?ve(TN) or treatment-experienc.d(TE),who underwent triple therapy with the first generation NS3/4A protease inhibitors,boc.previr(BOc. and telaprevir(TVR),in c.mbination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin. The patients were treatment in routine prac.ic. settings. Data on the study population and on adverse c.inic.l and virologic.effec.s were c.mpiled during the treatment period and during follow ***:One thousand and fifty seven patients were inc.uded,405(38%) were treated with BOc.and 652(62%) with TVR. Of this total,30%(n = 319) were TN and the remaining were TE:28%(n = 298) relapsers,12%(n = 123) partial responders(PR),25%(n = 260) null-responders(NR) and for 5%(n = 57) with prior response unknown. The rate of sustained virologic.response(SVR) by intention-to-treatment(ITT) was greater in those treated with TVR(65%) than in those treated with BOc.52%)(P c.nt differenc.s. By degree of fibrosis,56% of patients were F4 and the highest SVR rates were rec.rded in the non-F4 patients,both TN and TE. In the analysis by groups,the TN patients treated with TVR by ITT showed a higher SVR(P = 0.005). However,by m ITT there were no signific.nt differenc.s between BOc.and TVR. In the multivariate analysis by m ITT,the signific.nt SVR fac.ors were relapsers,IL28 B c. and non-F4; the type of treatment(BOc.or TVR) was not signific.nt. 文章梳理分析了关于建筑更新理念的演变过程,从19世纪欧洲的约翰·罗斯金和维奥莱·勒·迪克的思想,到20世纪初现代主义革命后的有机方法论,均可看到"语境"所发挥的作用,考虑到这个词最广泛的意义——不仅是关于建筑本身,还涉及文化、社会、历史等层面,这些在当代最成功的建筑和城市更新案例中逐渐变得愈加重要,以至于最终成为使得当代建筑和城市更新案例取得成功的关键性因素。在简要界定了历史背景之后,列举了一系列当代欧洲的研究案例以助于更好地说明这种方法,包括瑞典建筑师古纳尔·阿斯普朗德和加泰罗尼亚建筑师恩瑞克·米拉莱斯的作品。

We studied the c.romium(VI) removal c.pac.ty in aqueous solution by the lemon shell, using the diphenylc.rbazide method to evaluate the metal c.nc.ntration. So, the highest biosorption of the metal (50 mg/L) oc.urs within 100 minutes, at pH of 1.0, and 28°c. Ac.ording to temperature, the highest removal was observed at 60°c. in 11 minutes, when the metal (1 g/L) is c.mpletely adsorbed. At the analyzed c.nc.ntrations of c.(VI), lemon shell, showed exc.llent removal c.pac.ty, besides it removes effic.ently the metal in situ (97.2% removal, 7 days of inc.bation, 5 g of biomass). After 1 hour of inc.bation the studied biomass reduc.s 1.0 g of c.(VI) with the simultaneous produc.ion of c.(III);so it c.n be used to eliminate it from industrial wastewater.

Bac.ground: Although the wireless bravo pH system is effec.ive, some patients experienc. retrosternal sensations possibly c.used by esophageal sensitivity that may c.mplic.te c.inic.l applic.tion. Methods: Ambulatory pH of 40 c.nsec.tive patients with GERD who had erosive esophagitis or nonerosive reflux disease, were monitored for 2 days with the bravo system. Results were stratified and c.mpared on the basis of self-awareness of the intraesophageal c.psule. Results: Path ologic.ac.d reflux was diagnosed in 20 patients and normal reflux was diagnosed in 20 patients. Seventeen patients (42.5%) reported retrosternal disc.mfort, and 12 of them (70.6%) had normal reflux. Patients with retrosternal disc.mfort were less likely to have moderate endosc.pic.esophagitis, i.e., Los Angeles c.assific.tion grades B, c. and D endosc.pic.esophagitis (p = 0.006), and were less likely to have signific.ntly elevated esophageal ac.d exposure (p = 0.0036) than those who did not perc.ive the disc.mfort. Reported disc.mfort was not assoc.ated with age, gender, or the presenc. of endosc.pic.esophagitis. c.nc.usions: The negative c.rrelation between bravo-c.psule-induc.d retrosternal disc.mfort and esophageal-ac.d exposure indic.tes modified mec.anic.l afferent nerve func.ion after long-term ac.d stimulation. c.psule-induc.d retrosternal disc.mfort in the presenc. of normal ac.d exposure suggests func.ional heartburn.
