A photo-controlled approach is developed to regulate the interpenetrating polymer network(IPN)topology by varying the connecting structure between the first and second *** approach is based on multifunctional inimer(Vinyl-o NB-Br)possessing three moieties,i.e.,an acrylate-based double bond for incorporation within a polymer network,a Br group for grafting polymerization to get connectIPN(c-IPN),and an o-nitrobenzyl spacer for photocleaving to convert the c-IPN to disconnected-IPN(d-IPN)with UV light *** design allows for finely controlling the connection degree between two networks.A systematic study on the mechanical property of a series of samples with different connection degrees thus can be *** results reveal that decreasing the connecting degree between two networks of IPN made a negligible contribution to materials'mechanical properties.

To the Editor： Total knee arthroplasty （TKA） is one of the most common orthopedic surgeries to reduce pain and improve function for patients with osteoarthritis. However, TKA is associated with high-risk of perioperative morbidity and mortality. We presented a patient who developed severe acute respiratory distress syndrome （ARDS） postoperatively after bilateral TKA procedure. A 68-year-old female patient was scheduled for bilateral total knee replacement because ofosteoarthritis. Her past medical history was unremarkable, unless pacemaker implantation for Mobitz type II second-degree atrioventricular block. There was no significant finding in her preoperative examination. She had the operation under general anesthesia and was extubated uneventfully after the surgery.

Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy is a serious neurological disease,often resulting in long-term neurodevelopmental disorders among surviving ***,whether these neurodevelopmental issues can be passed to offspring remains *** right common carotid artery of 7-day-old parental-generation rats was subjected to permanent ligation using a vessel *** hypoxic-ischemic rat models were established by subjecting the rats to 8%O2–92%N2 for 2 *** results showed that 24 hours after hypoxia and ischemia,pathological damage,cerebral atrophy,liquefaction,and impairment were found,and Zea-Longa scores were significantly *** parental-generation rats were propagated at 3 months old,and offspring were *** changes in the overall brain structures of these offspring rats were identified by magnetic resonance ***,the escape latency was longer and the number of platform crossings was reduced among these offspring compared with normal *** results indicated that the offspring of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy model rats displayed cognitive impairments in learning and *** study was approved by the Animal Care&Welfare Committee of Kunming Medical University,China in 2018(approval ***2019072).

目的研究黄芩苷对小鼠急性肝损伤的保护作用。方法给动物灌胃给药,用CCl4、D-半乳糖制作小鼠急性肝损伤模型,用比色分析法测定小鼠血清天冬氨酸转氨酶(aspartate transaminase,ALT)、丙氨酸转氨酶(alanine transaminase,AST)的活性;测定小鼠血清超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(glutathione perioxidase,GSH-Px)的活性及丙二醛(malondialdehyde,MDA)的含量。结果黄芩苷能显著降低因CCl4、D-半乳糖所致急性肝损伤小鼠血清ALT,AST的升高;对急性肝损伤小鼠血清SOD、GSH-Px的活性有明显的升高作用及降低MDA的含量。结论黄芩苷对CCl4、D-半乳糖所致小鼠急性肝损伤有保护作用。
