We introduce the bipartite entangled states to present a quantum mechanical version of complex wavelet transform. Using the technique of integral within an ordered product of operators we show that the complex wavelet transform can be studied in terms of various quantum state vectors in two-mode Fock space. In this way the creterion for mother wavelet can be examined quantum-mechanically and therefore more deeply.

In this paper, we proposed a multi-task system that can identify dish types, food ingredients, and cooking methods from food images with deep convolutional neural networks. We built up a dataset of 360 classes of different foods with at least 500 images for each class. To reduce the noises of the data, which was collected from the Internet, outlier images were detected and eliminated through a one-class SVM trained with deep convolutional features. We simultaneously trained a dish identifier, a cooking method recognizer, and a multi-label ingredient detector. They share a few low-level layers in the deep network architecture. The proposed framework shows higher accuracy than traditional method with handcrafted features, and the cooking method recognizer and ingredient detector can be applied to dishes which are not included in the training dataset to provide reference information for users.

Chlorination,the most widely used disinfection process for water treatment,is unfortunately always accompanied with the formation of hazardous disinfection byproducts(DBPs).Various organic matter species,like natural organic matter(NOM)and amino acids,can serve as precursors of DBPs during chlorination but it is not clear what types of organic matter have higher potential *** regulation of DBPs such as trihalomethanes has received much attention,further investigation of the DBPs driving toxicity is *** study aimed to identify the important precursors of chlorination by measuring DBP formation from NOM and amino acids,and to determine the main DBPs driving toxicity using a theoretical toxicity evaluation of contributions to the cytotoxicity index(CTI)and genotoxicity index(GTI).The results showed that NOM mainly formed carbonaceous DBPs(CDBPs),such as trichloromethane,while amino acids mainly formed nitrogenous DBPs(N-DBPs),such as dichloroacetonitrile(DCAN).Among the DBPs,DCAN had the largest contribution to the toxicity index and might be the main driver of *** the precursors,aspartic acid and asparagine gave the highest DCAN concentration(200 g/L)and the highest CTI and ***,aspartic acid and asparagine are important precursors for toxicity and their concentrations should be reduced as much as possible before chlorination to minimize the formation of *** chlorination of NOM,tryptophan,and asparagine solutions with different chlorine doses and reaction times,changes in the CTI and GTI were consistent with changes in the DCAN concentration.

Optical membrane mirrors are promising key components for future space telescopes. Due to their ultra-thin and high flexible properties, the surfaces of these membrane mirrors are susceptible to temperature variations. Therefore adaptive shape control of the mirror is essential to maintain the surface precision and to ensure its working performance. However, researches on modeling and control of membrane mirrors under thermal loads are sparse in open literatures. A 0.2 m diameter scale model of a polyimide membrane mirror is developed in this study. Three Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) patches are laminated on the non-reflective side of the membrane mirror to serve as in-plane actuators. A new mathematical model of the piezoelectric actuated membrane mirror in multiple fields,(i.e., thermal,mechanical, and electrical field) is established, with which dynamic and static behaviors of the mirror can be analyzed.A closed-loop membrane mirror shape control system is set up and a surface shape control method based on an influence function matrix of the mirror is then investigated. Several experiments including surface displacement tracking and thermal deformation alleviation are performed. The deviations range from 15 μm to 20 μm are eliminated within 0.1 s and the residual deformation is controlled to micron level, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed membrane shape control strategy and shows a satisfactory real-time performance. The proposed research provides a technological support and instruction for shape control of optical membrane mirrors.
