Physical Activity in Pre-school Children:Role of the Teacher during Free Play

It has become evident over the past decade that the lack of PA(physical activity)is a major concern for the population at large CDC(Center for Disease Control).This lack is a major reason for the increase in overweight and obese children(USDHHS,2014).The CDC and the American Heart Association recommend children need at least 60 minutes of play time that is not scheduled *** purpose of this research was to examine whether children’s PA will increase if teacher activity increases during unstructured free play ***’PA was determined by using the SOPLAY(system for observing play and leisure activity in youth-children).SOPLAY is a validated tool for directly observing PA and associated environmental characteristics in free play settings(e.g.,recess and lunch at school).SOPLAY provides objective data on the number of participants and their PA levels during play and leisure opportunities in targeted *** and teachers in a West Texas Lab School(mean age=4.3 years)on a university campus were *** group data(males=13,female=15)were analyzed and mVPA(moderate to vigorous physical activity)was *** showed that children spent only 30%of their free-time in the recommended intensity ***’(n=5)overall metabolic equivalents(mETs)were recorded at *** experimental group(males=11,female=13)recorded teachers’(n=6)mETs at 2.47 and children mVPA at 44%.Both the mVPA and mETs were significantly different(pmportance of unstructured play time are important for children as well as the *** need time to be creative and explore during play and teachers use this free time for various activities including cognitive breaks or administrative work.A stronger push to get teachers moving should be made as this slight increase in mETs produces a significant increase in children’s PA.

This paper explores the question of how we can know if Artificial Intelligence(AI)systems have become or are becoming *** an overview of some arguments regarding AI sentience,it proceeds to an outline of the notion of negation in the philosophy of Josiah Royce,which is then applied to the arguments already ***’s notion of the primitive dyadic and symmetric negation relation is shown to bypass such *** negation relation and its expansion into higher types of order are then considered with regard to how,in small variations of active negation,they would disclose sentience in AI ***,I argue that the much-hyped arguments and apocalyptic speculations regarding Artificial General Intelligence(AGI)takeover and similar scenarios,abetted by the notion of unlimited data,are based on a fundamental misunderstanding of how entities engage their ***,limitation,proceeding from the symmetric negation relation,expands outward into higher types of order in polyadic relations,wherein the entity self-limits and creatively moves toward uniqueness.

Recently,natural substances in the form of nanoparticles are increasingly being used in different field,particularly in medicines to enhance their beneficial effects in treatment and *** cells of the breast(mCF-7)have been chosen to be examined and treated in vitro with conventional drug Tamoxifen(Tam)and tannin nanoparticles extract(NP99)individually or in *** reagent has been applied to assess the cell viability and propagation percentage,DNA fragmentation and mRNA relative expression of apoptotic genes to study the cell death *** results showed that Tam and tannin NP99 triggered cytotoxic activity towards the mCF7 *** reduce the viability and induced high potent repressive activity on cell proliferation percentage and induced apoptosis as indicated by rising the percentage in DNA *** of NP99 extract exhibited its effect in a dose and *** combined treatment of Tam and NP99 were much more efficient than individual *** could be concluded that NP99 is considered a promising natural anticancer agent as a new tool in therapeutic strategies.

AIm: To review the benefits of single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)/computed tomography(CT) hybrid imaging for diagnosis of various endocrine ***: We performed mEDLINE and Pub med searches using the terms: "SPECT/CT"; "functional anatomic mapping"; "transmission emission tomography"; "parathyroid adenoma"; "thyroid cancer"; "neuroendocrine tumor"; "adrenal"; "pheochromocytoma"; "paraganglioma"; in order to identify relevant articles published in English during the years 2003 to 2015. Reference lists from the articles were reviewed to identify additional pertinent articles. Retrieved manuscripts(case reports, reviews, meta-analyses and abstracts) concerning the application of SPECT/CT to endocrine imaging were analyzed to provide a descriptive synthesis of the utility of this ***: The emergence of hybrid SPECT/CT camera technology now allows simultaneous acquisition of combined multi-modality imaging, with seamless fusion of three-dimensional volume datasets. The usefulness of combining functional information to depict the biodistribution of radiotracers that map cellular processes of the endocrine system and tumors of endocrine origin, with anatomy derived from CT, has improved the diagnostic capability of scintigraphy for a range of disorders of endocrine gland function. This paper reports on a study of active vibration control of functionally graded beams with upper and lower surface-bonded piezoelectric layers. The model is based on higher-order shear deformation theory and implemented using the finite element method （FEm）. The proprieties of the functionally graded beam （FGB） are graded along the thickness direction. The piezoelectric actuator provides a damping effect on the FGB by means of a velocity feedback control algorithm. A matlab program has been developed for the FGB model and compared with ANSYS APDL. Using Newmark＇s method numerical solutions are obtained for the dynamic equations of FGB with piezoelectric layers. Numerical results show the effects of the constituent volume fraction and the influence the feedback control gain on the frequency and dynamic response of FGBs.

This paper presents a review of soil contamination resulting from e-waste recycling activities, with a special focus on China, where many data have been collected for a decade. Soils in the e-waste areas are often contaminated by heavy metals and organic compounds, mainly polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons （PAHs）, polybrominated diphenyl ethers （PBDEs）, polychlorinated and polybrominated biphenyls （PCBs and PBBs）, dechlorane plus （DP）, hexabromocyclododecanes （HBCDs）, polychlorinated and polybrominated dibenzo- p-dioxins （PCDDs and PBDDs）, and polychlorinated and polybrominated dibenzofurans （PCDFs and PBDFs）, while other compounds, not systematically monitored, can be found as well. Pollutants are generally present in mixtures, so pollution situations are complex and diversified with a gradient of contamination from agricultural soils to hot spots at e-waste sites and mainly in open burning areas. It has been proved that pollutants were transferred to the food chain via rice in China, and that the population was threatened since high levels of various pollutants were detected in blood, placentas, hair, etc., of residents of e-waste sites. Eventually, soil remediation techniques are reviewed. Although there are many available techniques devoted to heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants, the current techniques for the e-waste sites, where these contaminants coexist, are very sparse. Phytoremediation has been investigated and co-cropping appears as a promising approach for the slightly contaminated agricultural soils. In some cases, different remediation techniques should be combined or trained, while the influence of coexisting contaminants and the removal sequence of contaminants should be considered. In hot spots, physical and chemical techniques should be used to reduce high pollution levels to prevent further pollutant dissemination. In this paper,single-phase homogeneous nanofluid model is proposed to investigate the natural convection of magneto-hydrodynamic(mIID)flow of Newtonian Cu—H20 nanoliquid in a baffled U-shaped *** Brinkman model and Wasp model are considered to measure the effective dynamic viscosity and effective thermal conductivity of the nanoliquid ***'s effective properties such as specific heat,density and thermal expansion coefficient are modeled using mixture *** complicated PDS(partial differential system)is treated for numeric solutions via the Galerkin finite element *** pertinent parameters Hartmann number(1≤Ha≤60),Rayleigh number(10^(3)≤Ra≤10^(6))and nanoparticles volume fraction (0% ≤Ф≤4%) are taken for the parametric analysis, and it is conducted via streamlines and isotherms. Excellent agreement between numerical results and open literature. It is ascertained that heat transfer rate enhances with Rayleigh number Ra and volume fraction 0, however it is diminished for laiger Hartmann number Ha.
