Machine learning with optical neural networks has featured unique advantages of the information processing including high speed,ultrawide bandwidths and low energy consumption because the optical dimensions(time,space,wavelength,and polarization)could be utilized to increase the degree of ***,due to the lack of the capability to extract the information features in the orbital angular momentum(OAM)domain,the theoretically unlimited OAM states have never been exploited to represent the signal of the input/output nodes in the neural network ***,we demonstrate OAM-mediated machine learning with an all-optical convolutional neural network(CNN)based on Laguerre-Gaussian(LG)beam modes with diverse diffraction *** proposed CNN architecture is composed of a trainable OAM mode-dispersion impulse as a convolutional kernel for feature extraction,and deep-learning diffractive layers as a *** resultant OAM mode-dispersion selectivity can be applied in information mode-feature encoding,leading to an accuracy as high as 97.2%for MNIST database through detecting the energy weighting coefficients of the encoded OAM modes,as well as a resistance to eavesdropping in point-to-point free-space ***,through extending the target encoded modes into multiplexed OAM states,we realize all-optical dimension reduction for anomaly detection with an accuracy of 85%.Our work provides a deep insight to the mechanism of machine learning with spatial modes basis,which can be further utilized to improve the performances of various machine-vision tasks by constructing the unsupervised learning-based auto-encoder.

Aqueous zinc ion hybrid capacitors(ZIHCs)are considered one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage systems due to their high safety,environmental friendliness,low cost,and high power ***,the low energy density and the lack of sustainable design strategies for the cathodes hinder the practical application of ***,we design the N and O co-doped porous carbon cathode by annealing metal-organic framework(ZIF-8).ZIF-8 retains the original dodecahedral structure with a high specific surface(2814.67 m^(2)/g)and I_(G)/I_(D) ratio of 1.0 during carbonization and achieves self-doping of N and O *** defect sites are introduced into the porous carbon to provide additional active sites for ion adsorption after the activation of carbonized ZIF-8 by KOH *** ZIHCs assembled with modified ZIF-8 as the cathode and commercial zinc foil as the anode show an energy density of 125 W∙h/kg and a power density of 79 W/*** addition,this ZIHCs device achieves capacity retention of 77.8%after 9000 electrochemical cycles,which is attributed to the diverse pore structure and plentiful defect sites of ZIF-8-800(KOH).The proposed strategy may be useful in developing high-performance metal-ion hybrid capacitors for large-scale energy storage.

As the volume of healthcare and medical data increases from diverse sources,real-world scenarios involving data sharing and collaboration have certain challenges,including the risk of privacy leakage,difficulty in data fusion,low reliability of data storage,low effectiveness of data sharing,*** guarantee the service quality of data collaboration,this paper presents a privacy-preserving Healthcare and Medical Data Collaboration Service System combining Blockchain with Federated Learning,termed *** system is composed of three layers:Data extraction and storage,data management,and data *** on healthcare and medical data,a healthcare and medical blockchain is constructed to realize data storage,transfer,processing,and access with security,real-time,reliability,and *** improved master node selection consensus mechanism is presented to detect and prevent dishonest behavior,ensuring the overall reliability and trustworthiness of the collaborative model training ***,healthcare and medical data collaboration services in real-world scenarios have been discussed and *** further validate the performance of FL-HMChain,a Convolutional Neural Network-based Federated Learning(FL-CNN-HMChain)model is investigated for medical image *** model achieves better performance compared to the baseline Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),having an average improvement of 4.7%on Area Under Curve(AUC)and 7%on Accuracy(ACC),***,the probability of privacy leakage can be effectively reduced by the blockchain-based parameter transfer mechanism in federated learning between local and global models.

To address the shortcomings in decision-making methods for ground motion threshold warning models in high-speed rail earthquake early warning systems(HSREEWs),we propose a dual judgement method and corresponding early warning process for earthquake early warning decisions based on joint peak ground acceleration(PGA)and complex earthquake environmental risk evaluation(ERE)***,we analyse the characteristics of four complex earthquake environments based on the characteristics of high-speed rail(HSR)operating ***,we establish an earthquake environmental risk evaluation index system and propose an adversarial interpretive structure modelling method-based complex earthquake situation evaluation model(AISM-based ESEM).The AISM method firstly evaluates the proximity by the TOPSIS(technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution)method,then effectively rank targets with fuzzy attributes through opposite hierarchical extraction rules without sacrificing system *** PGA can reflect the current size of earthquake energy,combining PGA thresholds with ESEM-derived values of ERE can effectively determine the risk status of each train and make decisions on the most appropriate alarm form and control measures for that ***,case analysis results under the background of Wenchuan Earthquake show that the new early warning decisionmaking method accurately assesses environmental risks in affected areas and provides corresponding warning levels as a supplement to existing HSREEWs warning models.

Inhibition of mycobacterial membrane protein large 3(MmpL3)thereby affecting the mycolic acid biosynthetic pathway has been proven to be an effective strategy for developing antitubercular *** on the X-ray crystal structure of MmpL3 inhibitor complexes,a series of novel 1,2,4-triazole derivatives were designed,synthesized and evaluated antitubercular activity against Mtb strain *** structure–activity relationship exploration resulted in the identification of compounds 21 and 28,which possess potent antitubercular activity against Mtb strain H37Rv[minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)=0.03–0.13μg/mL]and the clinical isolates of multidrug resistance(MDR)and extensive drug resistance(XDR)tuberculosis(MIC=0.06–1.0μg/mL).Moreover,compounds 21 and 28 showed neglectable cytotoxicity(IC_(50)≥32μg/mL)to the mammalian Vero cells and favorable physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties according to the in silico absorption,distribution,metabolism and excretion(ADME)***,the potential target of representative 1,2,4-triazole 28 was identified to be MmpL3 using a microscale thermophoresis(MST)assay.

A solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)with a robust mechanical property and a high ionic conductivity is imperative for high-performance zinc metal ***,it is difficult to form such a SEI directly from an *** this work,a molecular crowding effect is based on the introduction of Zn(OTF)_(2)and Zn(ClO_(4))_(2)to 2 mol/L ZnSO_(4)*** and experiments indicate that the Zn(OTF)_(2)and Zn(ClO_(4))_(2)not only create a molecularly crowded electrolyte environment to promote the interaction of Zn^(2+)and OTF^(-),but also participate in the reduction to construct a robust and high ionic-conductive SEI,thus promoting metal zinc deposition to the(002)crystal *** this molecular crowding electrolyte,a high current density of 1 mA/cm^(2)can be obtained by assembling symmetric batteries with Zn as the anode for over 1000 *** in a temperature environment of-10℃,a current density of 1 mA/cm^(2)can be obtained by assembling symmetric batteries with Zn for over 200 ***//Bi_(2)S_(3)/VS4@C cells achieve a CE rate of up to 99.81%over 1000 ***,the utilization of a molecular crowding electrolyte is deemed a highly effective approach to fabricating a sophisticated SEI for a zinc anode.

Increasing soil salinization has led to severe reductions in plant yield and quality,and investigating the mo-lecular mechanism of salt stress response is therefore an urgent *** this study,we systematically analyzed the response of cotton roots to salt stress using single-cell transcriptomics technology;56281 high-quality cells were obtained from 5-day-old lateral root tips of Gossypium arboreum under natural growth conditions and different salt *** cell types with an array of novel marker genes were identified and confirmed by in situ RNA hybridization,and pseudotime analysis of some specific cell types revealed their potential differentiation *** changes in cell numbers under salt stress were observed for outer epidermal and inner endodermal cells,which were significantly enriched in response to stress,amide biosynthetic process,glutathione metabolism,and glycolysis/*** of differentially expressed genes identified in multiple comparisons revealed other functional ag-gregations concentrated on plant-type primary cell wall biogenesis,defense response,phenylpropanoid biosynthesis,and metabolic *** candidate differentially expressed genes encoding transcrip-tion factors or associated with plant hormones also responsive to salt stress were identified,and the func-tion of Ga03G2153,annotated as auxin-responsive GH3.6,was confirmed by virus-induced gene *** GaGH3.6-silenced plants showed a severe stress-susceptible phenotype,and physiological and biochemical measurements indicated that they suffered more significant oxidative *** results suggest that GaGH3.6 might participate in cotton salt tolerance by regulating redox *** thus construct a transcriptional atlas of salt-stressed cotton roots at single-cell resolution,enabling us to explore cellular heterogeneity and differentiation trajectories and providing valuable insights into the mo-lecular mechanisms that underlie plan

The rice stem borer(RSB),Chilo suppressalis,a notorious rice pest in China,has evolved a high resistance level to commonly used ***,a new anthranilic diamide insecticide,effectively controls multiple pests,including ***,the potential resistance risk of RSB to tetraniliprole is still *** this study,the tetraniliprole-selection(Tet-R)strain was obtained through 10 continuous generations of selection with tetraniliprole 30%lethal concentration(LC_(30)).The realized heritability(h^(2))of the Tet-R strain was 0.387,indicating that resistance of RSB to tetraniliprole developed rapidly under the continuous selection of *** Tet-R strain had a high fitness cost(relative fitness=0.53).We established the susceptibility baseline of RSB to tetraniliprole(lethal concentration at LC_(50)=0.727 mg/L)and investigated the resistance level of 6 field populations to *** tested strains that had resistance to chlorantraniliprole exhibited moderate-to high-level resistance to tetraniliprole(resistance ratio=27.7-806.8).Detection of ryanodine receptor(RyR)mutations showed that the Y4667C,Y4667D,I4758M,and Y4891F mutations were present in tested RSB field *** mutations were responsible for the cross-resistance between tetraniliprole and ***,the clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9-mediated genome-modified flies were used to study the contribution of RyR mutations to tetraniliprole *** order of contribution of a single RyR mutation to tetraniliprole resistance was Y4667D>G4915E>Y4667C~~I4758M>*** addition,the I4758M and Y4667C double mutations conferred higher tetraniliprole resistance than single Y4667C *** results can guide resistance management practices for diamides in RSB and other arthropods.

Energy Harvesting in the Wake of An Inverted C-Shaped Bluff Body

This paper proposes a novel wake-induced vibration(WIV)-based energy harvesting system consisting of two bluff *** inverted C-shaped bluff body is stationary installed at the upstream position to generate an interference wake street,and a cylinder bluff body equipped with a transducer is elastically suspended at the downstream position to harness WIV *** hydrodynamics and energy harvesting(EH)performance of the proposed system are investigated via experimental *** reduced velocity(U*)ranging from 2 to 14(the corresponding Reynolds number ranging from 15100 to 106200)is considered in the present *** is found that the wake generated by the inverted C-shaped bluff body significantly affects the EH *** the opening angle(α)of the C-shaped bluff body increases the vibration amplitude of the downstream cylinder,thereby increasing the harvested *** the spacing(L)between two bluff bodies is two times the cylinder diameter(D),the wake-induced vibration(WIV)mode is observed,while the combined WIV and wake galloping(WG)mode occurs whenαis 150°,and L equals 3D or *** average drag coefficient becomes negative when L is 2D,3D,or *** carefully configuring a C-shaped bluff body,the wake generated by it can bring an augmenting effect on the vibration of the downstream EH *** example,the RMS power output of the proposed EH system reaches a maximum of 0.31 W at U*=8 and L=4D,which is 300%greater than that of its traditional ***,after a number of case stud-ies,it is identified that the proposed EH system can achieve the best performance whenαis 150°and L=2D.
