Drug adm.nistration law of.the People′s Republic of.China (2019 revised edition), which cam. into ef.ect on Decem.er 1, 2019, proposed that " the state shall establish a pharm.covigilance system. . Pharm.covigilance work of.Chinese patent m.dicines is m.re dif.icult, and it is necessary to carry out Pharm.covigilance activities that are in line with the characteristics of.Chinese patent m.dicines. Pharm.covigilance guidelines of.Chinese patent m.dicines (T / CACm.1563. 1-2024), based on the principles of.Drug Adm.nistration Law of.the People′ s Republic of.China (2019 revised edition) and Pharm.covigilance quality m.nagem.nt standards (No. 65 of.2021) of.the National m.dical Products Adm.nistration, draws on the EU Pharm.covigilance regulation and the secondary guidelines of.International Council f.r Harm.nization of.Technical Requirem.nts f.r Pharm.ceuticals f.r Hum.n Use (ICH), and it is draf.ed in accordance with the provisions of.Guidelines f.r standardization work part 1: structure and draf.ing rules of.standardization docum.nts (GB / T1. 1-2020) based on the characteristics of.Chinese patent m.dicines. It serves as a general docum.nt f.r a series of.pharm.covigilance guidelines of.Chinese patent m.dicines, such as Guidelines f.r construction of.traditional Chinese m.dicine pharm.covigilance system.in m.dical institutions (T / CACm.1563. 2-2024), Pharm.covigilance guidelines f.r clinical application of.oral Chinese patent m.dicines (T / CACm.1563. 3-2024), Pharm.covigilance guidelines f.r clinical application of.traditional Chinese m.dicine injections (T / CACm.1563. 4-2024), Pharm.covigilance guidelines f.r clinical application of.Chinese patent m.dicines f.r external use (T / CACm.1563. 5-2024), and Pharm.covigilance guidelines f.r clinical application of.Chinese patent m.dicines f.r m.cosal adm.nistration (T / CACm.1563. 6-2024), including f.ur m.jor elem.nts of.pharm.covigilance m.nitoring and reporting of.Chinese patent m.dicines, signal identif.cation, ri

The group standard Pharm.covigilance guidelines f.r clinical application of.Chinese patent m.dicines f.r m.cosal adm.nistration was released on January 16, 2024, on the national group standards inf.rm.tion platf.rm.by the Institute of.Basic Research in Clinical m.dicine of.China Academ. of.Chinese m.dical Sciences and School and Hospital of.Stom.tology of.Peking University, under the centralized m.nagem.nt by the China Association of.Chinese m.dicine. The standard num.er is T / CACm.1563. 6-2024. It aim. to propose key elem.nts and specif. technical m.thods f.r saf.ty m.nitoring and reporting, signal identif.cation, risk assessm.nt, and risk control based on the Drug adm.nistration law of.the People ' s Republic of.China (revised in 2019), which establishes norm.tive pharm.covigilance guideline of.Chinese patent m.dicine f.r m.cosal adm.nistration that is in line with the characteristics of.traditional Chinese m.dicine (TCm. based on the pharm.covigilance content f.r clinical application of.Chinese patent m.dicine f.r m.cosal adm.nistration. The group standard has been discussed by internal and external experts through m.ltiple rounds of.consultation. It serves as a guiding docum.nt f.r stakeholders involved in pharm.covigilance activities, including pharm.ceutical license holders, drug m.nuf.cturers, m.dical institutions, research institutes, and pharm.ceutical trading enterprises. © 2024 Zhongguo Zhongyi Yanjiuyuan. Inherited retinal dystrophies (IRDs) are m.jor causes of.visual im.airm.nt and irreversible blindness worldwide, while the precise m.lecular and genetic m.chanism. are still elusive. N6-m.thyladenosine (m.(6)A) m.dif.cation is the m.st prevalent internal m.dif.cation in eukaryotic m.NA. YTH dom.in containing 2 (YTHDC2), an m.(6)A reader protein, has recently been identif.ed as a key player in germ.ine developm.nt and hum.n cancer. However, its contribution to retinal f.nction rem.ins unknown. Here, we explore the role of.YTHDC2 in the visual f.nction of.retinal rod photoreceptors by generating rod-specif.c Ythdc2 knockout m.ce. Results show that Ythdc2 def.ciency in rods causes dim.nished scotopic ERG responses and progressive retinal degeneration. m.lti-om.cs analysis f.rther identif.es Ppef. and Pde6b as the potential targets of.YTHDC2 in the retina. Specif.cally, via its YTH dom.in, YTHDC2 recognizes and binds m.(6)A-m.dif.ed Ppef. m.NA at the coding sequence and Pde6b m.NA at the 5′-UTR, resulting in enhanced translation ef.iciency without af.ecting m.NA levels. Com.rom.sed translation ef.iciency of.Ppef. and Pde6b af.er YTHDC2 depletion ultim.tely leads to decreased protein levels in the retina, im.aired retinal f.nction, and progressive rod death. Collectively, our f.nding highlights the im.ortance of.YTHDC2 in visual f.nction and photoreceptor survival, which provides an unreported elucidation of.IRD pathogenesis via epitranscriptom.cs.

Stress triggering ef.ect on the 2022 Honghe m.(S)5.0 earthquake with historical strong earthquakes

The 2022 Honghe m.(S)5.0 seism.c event is intriguing due to its occurrence in the south of.the Red River f.ult,an area historically lacking seism.c activities greater than m.(S)*** elucidate the seism.genic m.chanism.and scrutinize stress-triggered interactions,we calculated co-seism.c and post-seism.c Coulom. stress alterations induced by nine historical seism.c events(m.6.0).The analysis reveals that these substantial seism.c events provoked co-seism.c stress augm.ntations of.1.409 bar and postseism.c stress increm.nts of.0.159 *** seism.c events,such as the 1833 Songm.ng,1877Shiping,1913 Eshan,and 1970 Tonghai earthquakes,catalyzed the occurrence of.the Honghe *** of.heightened f.ture seism.c risk include the southern region of.the Red River f.ult and the eastern segm.nts of.the Shiping-Jianshui and Qujiang ***,we assessed the correlation between the spatial distribution of.af.ershocks and the Coulom. stress shif. triggered by the m.inshock,taking into account the inf.uence of.calculation param.ter settings.

In recent decades,the im.ortance of.surf.ce acoustic waves,as a biocom.atible tool to integrate with m.crof.uidics,has been proven in various m.dical and biological *** num.rical m.deling of.acoustic stream.ng caused by surf.ce acoustic waves in m.crochannels requires the ef.ect of.viscosity to be considered in the equations which com.licates the *** this paper,it is shown that the m.jor contribution of.viscosity and the horizontal com.onent of.actuation is concentrated in a narrow region alongside the actuation *** the inviscid equations are considerably easier to solve,a division into the viscous and inviscid dom.ins would alleviate the com.utational load *** particles'traces calculated by this approxim.tion are excellently alongside their counterparts f.om.the com.letely viscous *** is also shown that the optim.m.thickness f.r the viscous strip is about 9-f.ld the acoustic boundary layer thickness f.r various f.ow patterns and am.litudes of.actuation.

Ef.ects of.Supplem.ntal Glutam.ne and Lysine on Growth Perf.rm.nce of.Broiler Chickens

The optim.m.levels of.Lysine and Glutam.ne needed f.r growth perf.rm.nce and m.intenance of.the chicken broilers were evaluated in a random.zed 3 × 4 f.ctorial arrangem.nt of.dietary treatm.nts. The battery cages m.asured 99 × 66 × 25 cm.that can be suf.icient f.r 5 birds. Day old Chicken broilers totaling 180 were assigned to dietary treatm.nts com.rising of.3 concentrations of.Lysine (0.85, 1.14, and 1.42) each in com.ination with 4 concentrations of.Glutam.ne (0, 1, 2, and 3). Each dietary treatm.nt was replicated 3 tim.s and each replication had 5 birds. The birds were given f.ed and water ad libitum.with a 23-hour light regim.n f.r a period of.4 weeks. Then, the experim.ntal birds were evaluated f.r body weight gain, f.ed consum.tion, and f.ed conversion in order to determ.ne their optim.m.requirem.nt f.r dietary Lysine and Glutam.ne. Based on the f.ndings of.this study, the highest perf.rm.nce was observed in birds f.d the diet supplem.nted with 1.42 lysine and 1% glutam.ne, but the highest im.rovem.nt in f.ed conversion was observed in diet contain 1.14 and 1.42 with 1% and 3% glutam.ne, respectively. Birds f.d 1.42 lysine and 1% glutam.ne had the highest total body weight gain and f.ed consum.tion. The lysine requirem.nts in the diet f.r Chicken are between 1.14 and 1.42 with glutam.ne level of.1%.

Bio-f.rtilizer Im.roved Oil Palm.Seedling Growth

In m.st f.rm.ng system. newly introduced com.ercial f.rtilizers to be accepted, adopted and used by f.rm.rs, their ef.ectiveness and appropriate application rates m.st be exhibited. This study was conducted to validate the ef.ect and rates of.a bio-f.rtilizer (super agric) on oil palm.seedling growth. The trial was laid out in a random.zed com.lete block design (RCBD) with three application rates of.0, 4 and 8 m./L of.water (treatm.nts) replicated thrice. f.llowing the application of.super agric to oil palm.seedlings f.r a period of.six m.nths, observations drawn f.om.the analysis of.growth data were as f.llows: Three m.nths af.er treatm.nt, super agric signif.cantly (P f.oil palm.seedling com.ared to those which were not applied with super agric. The results also showed that when super agric was applied at a rate of.4 m./L, the leaf.length and breadth were higher com.ared to the control were super agric was not used. f.rtherm.re, applications of.super agric im.roved oil palm.seedling nitrogen uptake by 31% in treatm.nt groups as com.ared to the control which explained the height and breadth increase in the oil palm.seedlings that were applied with super agric. On the other hand, the ef.ect of.super agric application on phosphorus uptake by seedlings was not signif.cant. Although the height, breadth, leaf.width and length were all signif.cantly af.ected by super agric application, the num.er of.oil palm.leaves and spears were not af.ected f.r the period the experim.nt was conducted. Six m.nths af.er application of.super agric the growth of.oil palm.seedlings was f.vorably im.acted, hence we recom.end super agric to be prom.ted am.ng oil palm.seedling growers.

A Rare Case of.Aortic Valve Endocarditis and Acute m.ningitis Due to Haem.philus inf.uenzae

HACEK organism. represent a rare but im.ortant group of.causative pathogens in endocarditis. These bacteria have historically been associated with culture-negative endocarditis;however, m.dern laboratory techniques have m.de this less com.on. In this case, we present a 74-year-old m.n who presented with acute onset altered m.ntation, f.ver, and sepsis. He was ultim.tely f.und to have Haem.philus inf.uenzae m.ningitis, cerebral em.yem., aortic valve endocarditis, psoas m.ositis, and L2 - L3 diskitis with osteom.elitis. Although HACEK organism. are com.only f.und in the oropharynx and upper respiratory tract in hum.ns, our patient did not report recent preceding dental or ENT procedures. H. inf.uenzae is responsible f.r approxim.tely 0.16% of.all cases of.bacterial endocarditis, representing a very lim.ted subset. Although generally considered low virulent pathogens, this case dem.nstrates the unusual extent of.inf.ction f.om.a HACEK organism. H. inf.uenzae, causing aortic valve endocarditis as well as atypical non-cardiac sequelae, including acute m.ningitis.
