Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the leading cause of anovulatory *** understanding of the ovulation drivers hinders PCOS ***,we report that follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)controls follicular fluid(FF)glutamine levels to determine *** ovulation starts from FF-exposing granulosa cell(GC)*** glutamine,which decreases in pre-ovulation porcine FF,elevates in PCOS patients ***-glutamine chow to elevate FF glutamine inhibits mouse GC apoptosis and induces hormonal,metabolic,and morphologic PCOS ***,follicle-development-driving FSH promotes GC glutamine synthesis to elevate FF glutamine,which maintain follicle wall integrity by inhibiting GC apoptosis through inactivating ASK1-JNK apoptotic *** and glutamine inhibit the rapture of cultured murine *** removal or ASK1-JNK pathway activation with metformin or AT-101 reversed PCOS traits in PCOS models that are induced with either glutamine or *** suggest that glutamine,FSH,and ASK1-JNK pathway are targetable to alleviate PCOS.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-13tandem accelerator at the China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1μm thick Si_(3)N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.125×10^(-10)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×10^(-14)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×10^(-15)when the data were accumulated for 100 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

The formation mechanism for the body-centred regular icosahedral structure of li13 cluster is proposed. The curve of the total energy versus the separation R between the nucleus at the centre and nuclei at the apexes for this structure of li13 has been calculated by using the method of gou＇s modified arrangement channel quantum mechanics （MACQM）. The result shows that the curve has a minimal energy of-96.951 39 a.u. at R = 5.46ao. When R approaches to infinity, the total energy of thirteen lithium atoms has the value of-96.564 38 a.u. So the binding energy of lii3 with respect to thirteen lithium atoms is 0.387 01 a.u. Therefore the binding energy per atom for lii3 is 0.029 77 a.u. or 0.810 eV, which is greater than the binding energy per atom of 0.453 eV for li2, 0.494 eV for li3, 0.7878 eV for li4. 0.632 eV for lis, and 0.674 eV for liv calculated by us previously. This means that the li13 cluster may be formed stably in a body-centred regular icosahedral structure with a greater binding energy.

The formation mechanism for the regular octahedral structure of liscluster is proposed. The curve of the total energy versus the separation R between any two neighboring nuclei has been calculated by using the method of gou＇s modified arrangement channel quantum mechanics （MACQM）. The result shows that the curve has a minimal energy of -44.736 89 a.u. at R = 5.07a0. When R approaches infinity, the total energy of six lithium atoms has the value of -44.568 17 a.u. So the binding energy of li6 with respect to six lithium atoms is 0.1687 a.u. Therefore, the binding energy per atom for li6 is 0.028 12 a.u., or 0.7637 eV, which is greater than the binding energy per atom of 0.453 eV for li2 and the binding energy per atom of 0.494 eV for li3 calculated in our previous work. This means that the li6 cluster may be formed in a regular octahedral structure with a greater binding energy.

The lattice parameters, bulk modulus, phase transition pressure, and temperature dependencies of the elastic constants cij of CdSe are investigated by using the Cambridge Serial Total Energy Package （CASTEP） program in the frame of Density Functional Theory （DFT）. It is found that the phase transitions from the ZB structure to the RS structure and from WZ structure to RS structure are 2.2 GPa and 2.8 GPa, respectively. Our results agree well with the available experimental data and other theoretical results. The aggregate elastic modulus （B, G, E, A ）, the Poisson＇s ratio （v）, the Griuneisen parameter （γ）, the Debye temperature θD on pressure and temperature are also successfully obtained.

We have investigated the structural and elastic properties of MgB2 under high pressures using the full- potential linearized muffin-tin orbital （FP-LMTO） scheme within the generalized gradient approximation correction （GGA） in the frame of density functional theory. The calculated pressure dependence of the normalized volume is in excellent agreement with the experimental results. At the same time the elastic constants and acoustic anisotropy as a function of applied pressure are presented. Through the quasi-harmonic Debye model, we also investigate the thermodynamic properties of MgB2.

Shell model molecular dynamic simulation with interatomic pair potential is utilized to investigate the elastic and thermodynamic properties of gallium nitride with hexagonal wurtzite structure （w-GaN） at high pressure. The calculated elastic constants Cij at zero pressure and 300 K agree well with the experimental data and other calculated values. Meanwhile, the dependences of the relative volume V/Vo, elastic constants Cij, entropy S, enthalpy H, and heat capacities Cv and Up on pressure are successfully obtained. From the elastic constants obtained, we also calculate the shear modulus G, bulk modulus B, Young＇s modulus E, Poisson＇s ratio v, Debye temperature ΘD, and shear anisotropic factor Ashear on pressures.

The transition phase and elastic properties of SrS from naCl structure （B1） to CsCl structure （B2） are investigated by ab initio plane-wave pseudopotential density functional theory method and by the quasi-harmonic Debye model. The transition pressure varies non-linearly with temperature, and the pressure of the mechanical instability increases linearly with increasing temperature. It is shown that the B1 structure SrS is a most elastically anisotropic minerat any pressure. The Debye temperature, the heat capacity, thermal expansion and Gruneisen parameter over a wide range of pressures and temperatures are also obtained.
