Multi-population particle swarm optimization algorithm for automatic design of steel frames

Steel structures are widely used;however,their traditional design method is a trial-and-error procedure which is neither efficient nor cost ***,a multi-population particle swarm optimization(MPPSO)algorithm is developed to optimize the weight of steel frames according to standard design *** are made to improve the algorithm performances including the constraint-based strategy,piecewise mean learning strategy and multi-population cooperative *** proposed method is tested against the representative frame taken from American standards and against other steel frames matching Chinese design *** related parameter influences on optimization results are *** the representative frame,MPPSO can achieve greater efficiency through reduction of the number of analyses by more than 65% and can obtain frame with the weight for at least 2.4%lighter.A similar trend can also be observed in cases subjected to Chinese design *** addition,a migration interval of 1 and the number of populations as 5 are recommended to obtain better MPPSO *** purpose of the study is to propose a method with high efficiency and robustness that is not confined to structural scales and design *** aims to provide a reference for automatic structural optimization design problems even with dimensional *** proposed method can be easily generalized to the optimization problem of other structural systems.

In this paper, a zero-and-one-inflated Poisson (ZOIP) model is studied. The maximum likelihoodestimation and the Bayesian estimation of the model parameters are obtained based on dataaugmentation method. A simulation study based on proposed sampling algorithm is conductedto assess the performance of the proposed estimation for various sample sizes. Finally, two realdata-sets are analysed to illustrate the practicability of the proposed method.

In order to improve the spinnabilities of A95 alumi- na silica sols, the influences of addition and polymeriza- tion degree of polyvinyl alcohol on spinnabilities of alu- mina silica sols were researched. The viscosity and rheo- logical properties of the sols, mierostructure, infrared spectra, average diameter and diameter distribution oJ the gel fibers, BET specific surface area and distribution of pore diameters were measured. The results show that iJ there is no spinning agent, the A95 sols have no spinna- bility ; when PVA 2099 addition is in the range of l. 0% -2.0% （in mass, the same hereinafter） , the prepared sols have good spinnability, the gel fibers produced are thin and uniform, and the shot content is low ; BET spe- cific surface area and gas absorption amount of A95 polycrystalline alumina fibers are the largest when PVA 2099 addition is 2. 0% ; the gel fibers are thick and non-uniform, and the shot content is high when PVA 2099 addition is 4. 0% ; with polymerization degree oJ PVA increasing, the average diameter and diameter dis- tribution range of the gel fibers increase gradually; when using PVA 1799 and PVA 1899, respectively, the spun gel fibers are thin and uniform.

Permian radiolarian biostratigraphy was reexamined in the bedded chertsection in Qinzhou area of southeast Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, South China. On the basis ofthe analyses of characteristic radiolarian composition, six radiolarian zones are recognized,namely, Pseudoalbaillella longtanensis Zone, Pseudoalbaillella globosa Zone, Follicucullusmonacanthus Zone, Follicucullus scholasticus Zone, Follicucullus charveti Zone and Neoalbaillellaornithoformis Zone, in ascending order. Correlation of these radiolarian zones with those in Japanis presented. The Neoalbaillella ornithoformis Zone was firstly discovered in Dachongling Section,which may indicate that pelagic chert of the late Permian existed there, according to theco-occurring conodonts.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Yiqihuoxue prescription(YQHX) from Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) on myocardial glucose and lipid metabolism after myocardial infarction via the cross talk between the liver kinase B1(LKB1)-dependent Notch1 and adenosine 5'-monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK). YQHX was prepared with substances with properties that benefit, to activate blood circulation based on the TCM ***: Animal models of myocardial infarction were established by ligating Sprague Dawley rats' left anterior descending coronary arteries. The animals were randomly divided into a myocardial infarction(MI) group, a YQHX group, a perindopril group, a γ-secretase inhibitor, Notch signal inhibitor(DAPT) group, a DAPT+YQHX group and a sham group. The related drugs were administered on the second day after operation, and changes in the relevant indexes were examined on weeks 1 and *** in cardiac structure and function were examined by echocardiography. The glucose and free fatty acids(FFA) were examined by ELISA. The expression of Notch, LKB1 and AMPK m RNA was examined by a real-time fluorescence quantitative method. The expression of glucose transporter 4(GLUT4), and the expression of total acetyl-Co A carboxylase(ACC) and its phosphorylation were examined by western ***: Compared with the sham group, the expression of Notch, LKB1 and AMPK m RNA in the MI group was lower. Compared with the MI group, the expression of these m RNAs in the YQHX and perindopril groups was higher, and their expression in the DAPT group was lower. At all time points, the protein expression of GLUT4 and p ACC decreased in the MI group. On week 1, the expression of p ACC protein was higher. In the DAPT group, the expression of p ACC protein decreased. Compared with the YQHX group, the expression of p ACC protein in the DAPT + YQHX group was lower. 随着我国电网规模快速扩张,输电通道资源日渐紧缺,同塔多回输电技术逐渐得到广泛应用。超/特高压远距离输电线路一般以差动保护作为双重主保护,与纵联距离/方向保护构成双重化配置。但用于同塔双回输电线路时,分布电容电流将影响差动保护的灵敏度;同时,由于双回线线间和相间较强的电磁耦合作用,线间互感的影响将会降低纵联距离、纵联方向保护判断的正确性,导致原来的保护配置方案难以直接应用。将特勒根似功率保护原理推广至同塔双回线路,提出了一种基于特勒根似功率定理的同塔双回输电线路纵联保护方法,能够不受双回线内部复杂电磁耦合、分布电容、系统负荷等影响,并验证了该保护的对时方案在双回线路中的适用性。采用MATLAB/Simulink仿真软件搭建1000kV特高压同塔双回输电线示范工程模型,经大量仿真实验,验证了所提保护方法的有效性。

Objective:To investigate how Yiqi Huoxue (YQHX) prescription regulates mitochondrial biosynthesis and ATP synthesis via AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and to reveal its molecular mechanism in preventing and treating post-MI myocardial ***:The MI animal model of myocardial infarction were established by ligating Sprague Dawley (SD) rats' left anterior descending coronary arteries;the animals were randomly divided into MI group,YQHX prescription group and perindopril group,and a sham operation group was set at the same *** drug intervention was administered on the 2nd day after surgery,the YQHX group was given Astragalus,angelica,ginseng,Ligusticum wallichii and pseudoginseng,provided by the Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine,once per day,at a dose of 21 g/kg body weight/day (the clinical equivalent dose based on a previous study),and the changes in relevant indicators were observed at 1 week and 4 *** (ECG) was used to observe the changes in rat cardiac structure and functions;the morphology-based technique was used to observe the changes in myocardial cells and mitochondria;the expression of AMPK signal pathway-related proteins and mRNA was detected using western blotting and real-time fluorescence quantification respectively,while fluorescence enzyme-labeled method was used for detecting ATP ***:Cardiac structure and functions:Compared with the MI group at 1 week,the YQHX prescription group and the perindopril group exhibited increased LVEF and LVFS (Pall .05).At 4 weeks,both LVEF and LVFS were elevated in the YQHX prescription group (P =.008,.009) and the perindopril group (P =.279,.333),where differences in the later group indicated no statistical significance;the YQHX prescription group and the perindopril group were also featured by reduced LVEDs and LVE
