In this study,the sources of potentially toxic elements(PTEs)from atmospheric deposition in the waters of Guizhou’s Caohai Lake were investigated in addition to the potential risks to human *** bags were used to enrich PTEs from atmospheric deposition,and eight monitoring sites that best represented geographic variation were established around Caohai *** bags were collected and examined at every 3 months to identify spatiotemporal patterns of dry and wet atmospheric deposition of *** was the most abundant metal identified from deposition in Caohai(72.07%–95.94%),followed by Pb and Cd,while Hg was the least abundant(0.008%–0.354%).The contributions of wet deposition of PTEs were greater than those of dry deposition,and deposition during the heating season from December to April was greater than that between April to *** was mainly derived from atmospheric dry deposition(65.38%–84.44%).Spatial distribution analysis indicated that atmospheric deposition was associated with the intensity of human activities and heating *** via hand-to-mouth contact accounted for over 99%of the total exposure risk although overall exposure was lower than threshold acceptable levels for carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic metals,indicating an overall lack of risk towards human ***,the health risk from atmospheric deposition of PTEs in Caohai Lake may be reduced by focusing on Zn,Pb,and Cd deposition in rainfall and minimizing the hazards associated with hand-to-mouth exposure to PTEs.

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture for optic atrophy. DATA SOURCES： A computer-based online search was conducted in Medline （1966-2008）, Embase （1986-2008）, the Cochrane Library （up to 2008）, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database （1975-2008）, China National Knowledge Infrastructure （1994-2008）, VIP Database （1989-2008）, Wanfang Database （1980-2008） and the National Research Register for ongoing trials. DATA SELECTION： Randomized, controlled trials addressing acupuncture treatment for patients with optic atrophy were included in this review. Inclusion criteria evaluated all forms of acupuncture therapy, such as filiform needle, electro-acupuncture, laser-acupuncture, acupressure, and auricular-acupuncture. Comparisons between acupuncture therapy and no treatment （blank） or placebo or Chinese medicine or Western medicine, as well as between acupuncture as an adjuvant and other treatments, were included. Exclusion criteria included studies comparing different forms of acupuncture therapy, different manipulations of acupuncture, and different acupuncture prescriptions, as well as non-randomized, controlled trials and animal studies. The domain-based evaluation criteria recommended by the guidelines in Chapter 8 of the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions 5.0.1 was used to assess quality of the included studies. According to the type of outcome index, measurement data as assessed by weighted mean difference or standardized mean difference and 95% confidence interval; numeration data was estimated by relative risk and 95% confidence interval. Heterogeneity was analyzed by Meta-analysis using RevMan 5.0 software. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Improved visual acuity and visual field was sought between treatment and control groups in the included articles. AIM:To analyze the antiviral mechanism of Epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)against hepatitis B virus(HBV) ***:In this research,the HBV-replicating cell line HepG2.117 was used to investigate the antiviral mechanism of *** of EGCG was analyzed by 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide *** B virus e antigen(HBeAg)and hepatitis B virus surface antigen(HBsAg)in the supernatant were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** mRNA and pregenomic RNA(pgRNA) levels were determined by semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(PCR)*** effect of EGCG on HBV core promoter activity was measured by dual luciferase reporter *** covalently closed circular DNA and replicative intermediates of DNA were quantified by real-time PCR ***:When HepG2.117 cells were grown in the presence of EGCG,the expression of HBeAg was suppressed,however,the expression of HBsAg was not *** precore mRNA level was also downregulated by EGCG,while the transcription of precore mRNA was not *** synthesis of both HBV covalently closed circular DNA and replicative intermediates of DNA were reduced by EGCG treatment to a similar extent,however,HBV pgRNA transcripted from chromosome-integrated HBV genome was not affected by EGCG treatment,indicating that EGCG targets only replicative intermediates of DNA ***:In HepG2.117 cells,EGCG inhibits HBV replication by impairing HBV replicative intermediates of DNA synthesis and such inhibition results in reduced production of HBV covalently closed circular DNA.

Changes in Texture and Retorting Yield in Oil Shale During Its Bioleaching by Bacillus Mucilaginosus

Bioleaching of oil shale by Bacillus mucilaginosus was carried out in a reaction column for 13 d. The pH value of the leaching liquor decreased steadily from 7.5 to 5.5 and the free silicon dioxide concentration reached approximately 200 mg/L in it. Scanning electron microscopy（SEM） observations revealed that a mass of small particles separated from the matrix of oil shale. Energy dispersive spectrometry（EDS） analysis implied that the total content of Si,O, A1 was decreased in the particle area of the matrix. These facts indicate that the silicate was removed, leading to the structural transformation of oil shale. Comparison of the shale oil yields before and after bioleaching illustrated that approximately 10% extra shale oil was obtained. This finding suggests that the demineralisation of the oil shale by silicate bacteria improves shale oil yield.

S^3 LQA: A Link Quality Assessment Metric for WSNs Based on Symbol Error and Received Signal Strength

With the rapid evolution of WSNs technology, it is very important to evaluate link quality quickly and accurately, so that the routing protocols can take relevant strategies in time to keep the entire network working steadily and efficiently. However, the issue of layer is still open to research. To tackle this issue, a improving link quality assessment methods on physical novel link quality assessment metric called S3LQA is proposed, which estimates the link quality of wireless sensor networks by CC2420 wireless radio frequency transceiver principles and free space propagation theory. The metric adopts both complete and incomplete packages to improve the evaluation performance effectively based on IEEE802. 15.4 frame format and DSSS-O- QPSK mechanism. The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve energy cost and achieves hatter real-timin nerformance than traditional counting-based （PRR） link aualitv assessment metric.
