Acute coronary syndrome(ACS)is one of the leading causes of death in cardiovascular *** coronary intervention(PCI)is an important method for the treatment of coronary heart disease(CHD),and it has greatly reduced the mortality of ACS patients since its ***,a series of new problems may occur after PCI,such as in-stent restenosis,no-reflow phenomenon,in-stent neoatherosclerosis,late stent thrombosis,myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury,and malignant ventricular arrhythmias,which result in the occurrence of major adverse cardiac events(MACE)that seriously reduce the postoperative benefit for *** inflammatory response is a key mechanism of MACE after ***,examining effective anti-inflammatory therapies after PCI in patients with ACS is a current research focus to reduce the incidence of *** pharmacological mechanism and clinical efficacy of routine Western medicine treatment for the anti-inflammatory treatment of CHD have been *** Chinese medicine(CM)preparations have been widely used in the treatment of *** and clinical studies showed that effectiveness of the combination of CM and Western medicine treatments in reducing incidence of MACE after PCI was better than Western medicine treatment *** current paper reviewed the potential mechanism of the inflammatory response and occurrence of MACE after PCI in patients with ACS and the research progress of combined Chinese and Western medicine treatments in reducing incidence of *** results provide a theoretical basis for further research and clinical treatment.

A very simple molecular cation, 4-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-2,6-diphenylpyrylium, has been demonstrated to have a function of molecular half-adder and half-subtractor according to the detectable spectroscopic changes of the molecular system in response to the inputs of acid and base. Distinct algebraic operations can be performed in this reconfigurable molecular logic system.

Identification of a Positive Cis-Element Upstream of Human NKX3.1 Gene

NKX3.1 is a prostate-specific homeobox gene related to prostate development and *** this work,we aimed to identify precisely the functional cis-element in the 197 bp region(from-1032 to -836 bp)of the NKX3.1 promoter(from -1032 to +8bp),which was previously identified topresent positive regulatory activity on NKX3.1 expression,by deletion mutagenesis analysis and electro-phoretic mobility shift assay(EMSA).A 16 bp positive cis-element located between -920 and -905 bpupstream of the NKX3.1 gene was identified by deletion mutation analysis and proved to be a functionalpositive cis-element by *** will be important to further study the functions and regulatory mechanismsof this positive cis-element in NKX3.1 gene expression.

Up-regulation of NKX3.1 Expression and Inhibition of LNCaP Cell Proliferation Induced by an Inhibitory Element Decoy

NKX3.1 is an androgen-regulated prostate-specific homeobox gene that is thought to play animportant role in prostate development and ***3.1 acts as a tumor suppressor gene specificallyin the ***-regulation of NKX3.1 gene offers a promising gene therapy for prostate *** strategy has been developed and is considered a useful tool for regulating gene expression and *** our previous studies,we identified a 20 bp inhibitory element upstream of the NKX3.1 *** this study,we focused on using the 20 bp inhibitory element decoy to block negative regulation of theNKX3.1 gene and to up-regulate NKX3.1 expression using synthetic double-stranded oligodeoxynucleotidesof the 20 bp inhibitory *** found in an electrophoretic mobility shift assay experiment that the 20 bpinhibitory decoy presented competitive binding to a specific binding protein of the 20 bp inhibitory element inprostate cancer cell line *** luciferase reporter gene assays,we found that the 20 bp inhibitory decoycould enhance NKX3.1 promoter activity,and RT-PCR and Western blot analysis revealed that NKX3.1expression was up-regulated effectively by the transfection with the 20 bp inhibitory ***,cell proliferation was inhibited by up-regulated NKX3.1 expression induced by the 20 bp inhibitory decoy.

Ideal Bi‑Based Hybrid Anode Material for Ultrafast Charging of Sodium‑Ion Batteries at Extremely Low Temperatures

Sodium-ion batteries have emerged as competitive substitutes for low-temperature applications due to severe capacity loss and safety concerns of lithium-ion batteries at−20°C or ***,the key capability of ultrafast charging at ultralow temperature for SIBs is rarely ***,a hybrid of Bi nanoparticles embedded in carbon nanorods is demonstrated as an ideal material to address this issue,which is synthesized via a high temperature shock *** a hybrid shows an unprecedented rate performance(237.9 mAh g^(−1) at 2 A g^(−1))at−60℃,outperforming all reported SIB anode *** with a Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)cathode,the energy density of the full cell can reach to 181.9 Wh kg^(−1) at−40°*** on this work,a novel strategy of high-rate activation is proposed to enhance performances of Bi-based materials in cryogenic conditions by creating new active sites for interfacial reaction under large current.

Visual electrophysiological assessment of children with poor response to treatment for functional amblyopia

AIM:To assess the visual electrophysiological outcomes in children with functional amblyopia who exhibited poor response to conventional ***:Twenty-one children with functional amblyopia,aged 5.7±2.1y(range:4-10y),underwent comprehensive ophthalmic and refractive *** domain-optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT)and multifocal electroretinography(mfERG)were conducted to analyze the macular retinal thickness and the first-order response P1 ring of the mfERG in the amblyopic eye(AE)compared to the fellow good eye(GE).RESULTS:Initially,visual acuity in the AE ranged from 20/800 to 20/40,while the GE exhibited a range of 20/25 to 20/20(P<0.01).After 6mo of treatment,17 patients demonstrated improved visual acuity in the AE to 20/50 or better,while 4 children showed no ***-OCT revealed comparable macular and optic disc structures between the AE and *** to treatment,the mfERG P1 ring amplitude was significantly reduced in the AE compared to GE(P<0.05).The AE/GE ratio of P1 ring amplitude showed significant improvement ***,a smaller AE/GE ratio before treatment was associated with poorer improvement ***:In the management of functional amblyopia,a thorough assessment of amblyopic eye examinations is *** 20%of amblyopic eyes may not achieve significant improvement in visual acuity,despite the absence of detectable organic retinal *** may reveal underlying *** mfERG into initial assessments or treatment follow-ups can aid in identifying potential hidden retinal defects and predicting the prognosis of the amblyopic eye.

Convertible hydrogel supercapacitors have emerged as promising energy storage devices in switches,diodes,and ***,inherent weaknesses in ionic conductivity,mechanical properties,and water retention of hydrogel electrolytes seriously hinder their *** by the hardness conversion of sea cucumber skin,a conductivity and mechanics dual-tunable salt gel electrolyte is successfully *** salt gel presents a reversible switching of conductors-insulators and a mechanical regulation between softness and hardness via the dissolution-crystallization transition of sodium acetate trihydrate(SAT).Meanwhile,the salt gels spontaneously grow a layer of“armor”through saturated phase-change salt crystals effectively reducing water evaporation of hydrogel ***,this phase-change soft-rigid conversion strategy will expand the capabilities of gel-based flexible supercapacitors(area capacitance:258.6 mF cm^(-2)),and the capacitance retention rate could still reach 86.9%after 3000 cycles at high ***,the salt gel supercapacitor is potentially used in over-heat alarm *** is anticipated that the strategy of conductivity and mechanics of dual-tunable salt gel would provide a new perspective on the development of energy storage devices,wearable electronics,and flexible robots.

N^(6)-methyladenosine on the natural antisense transcript of NIA1 stabilizes its mRNA to boost NO biosynthesis and modulate stomatal movement

Nitric oxide(NO)is a crucial signaling molecule that regulates a wide range of metabolic pathways in different strata of *** plants,nitrate reductase(NR)is a key enzyme for NO *** are two NR-encoding genes in Arabidopsis genome,NIA1 and NIA2,which are precisely regulated and expressed in a tissue-specific *** this study,we found that the natural antisense transcript as-NIA1,transcribed from the 30 UTR of NIA1,stabilizes NIA1 mRNA to maintain its circadian oscillation in plants grown under the light/dark ***,as-NIA1-dependent NIA1 mRNA stability is indispensable for NIA1-mediated NO biosynthesis in guard cells and natural stomatal ***,we revealed that polypyrimidine tract-binding 3(PTB3)regulates the stabilization of NIA1 mRNA by directly binding to UC-rich elements of *** further found that MTA deposits N^(6)-methyladenosine(m6 A)on as-NIA1,facilitating the as-NIA1-PTB3 interaction in vivo,in agreement with RNA structure prediction in that m6 Amediated structural alterations expose the UC-rich elements to enhance the accessibility of *** together,these findings reveal a novel molecular mechanism by which plants precisely manipulate NO biosynthesis to modulate light/dark-regulated stomatal movement,highlighting the coupling of RNA epigenetic modifications and structures shaping RNA-protein interactions in the regulation of hormone biosynthesis.

沟谷地不同植被下土壤重金属纵向分异研究

研究了长春市君子兰公园孟家河沟谷地纵向剖面不同植被（乔木、灌木、菜地和裸地）下土壤重金属的分异规律．沿沟谷地纵向剖面自上游向下游方向，在距离沟边2m处的谷地坡面上，采集不同植被覆盖下的土壤样方，通过对各样点的土壤表层重金属（Zn、Pb、Cu）的全量分析，得出沟谷地不同植被类型下土壤重金属的分异特征．结果显示，在不同的植被类型覆盖下，土壤重金属含量值有明显差异，Zn的变化范围在70．3～290．9mg·kg^-1，Pb在39．8～79．3mg·kg^-1，Cu在20．3～63．4mg·kg^-1，Zn、Pb、Cu全量具有裸地高于菜地土壤、菜地土壤高于乔木土壤、乔木土壤高于灌木土壤的特征．不同植被下土壤重金属实测平均值与吉林省土壤背景值的对比表明，沟谷地不同植被下土壤中Zn、Pb、Cu的含量均高于吉林省土壤背景值，土壤重金属含量有不断富集的趋势．
