Case-cohort design is an efficient and economical design to study risk factors for diseases with expensive measurements, especially when the disease rate is low. When several diseases are of interest, multiple case-cohort design studies may be conducted using the same subcohort. To study the association between risk factors and each disease occurrence or death, we consider a general additive-multiplicative hazards model for case-cohort designs with multiple disease outcomes. We present an estimation procedure for the regression parameters of the additive-multiplicative hazards model, and show that the proposed estimator is consistent and asymptotically normal. Large sample approximation works well in finite sample studies in simulation. Finally, we apply the proposed method to a real data example for illustration.

1,3-Dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin（DBDMH） was found to be a new and efficient nitrogen/halogen source for the aminobromination of ethyl a-cyanocinnamate derivatives catalyzed by K3PO4. The reaction afforded the aminobrominated products in high yields at room temperature, and the full regiospecificity of all the products were achieved. A possible pathway involving a Michael addition for this aminobromination was suggested.

The shrub Microcos paniulata(MPL;Tiliaceae), distributed in south China, south and southeast Asia, yields a phytomedicine used to treat heat stroke, fever, dyspepsia, diarrhea, insect bites and jaundice. Phytochemical investigations on different parts of MPL indicate the presence of flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids and organic acids. The MPL leaves, fruits, barks and roots extracts showed antidiarrheal, antimicrobial and insecticidal, anti-inflammation, hepatoprotective, cardiovascular protective, blood lipids reducing, analgesic, jaundice-relieving and antipyretic activities, etc. The review aims to summary the traditional uses, botany,phytochemistry, pharmacological bioactivity, quality control, toxicology and potential mechanisms of MPL. Additionally, this review will highlight the existing research gaps in knowledge and provide a foundation for further investigations on this plant.

Micro-emulsion has unique advantages in repairing diesel oil contaminated sand due to its low interfacial tension and strong *** Winsor phase diagram,it was found that with the increase of salinity,the phase of microemulsion transformed from WinsorⅠto WinsorⅢto WinsorⅡ.Under cryogenic electron microscope,it was observed that WinsorⅠwas O/W type,WinsorⅡwas W/O type,and WinsorⅢtype was bi-continuous *** effect of inorganic salts,alcohol and temperature on the oil removal rate of diesel oil contaminated sand was investigated by static recovery of micro-emulsion *** results showed that for the anionic microemulsion system,with the increase of salinity and alcohols,the oil yield of the upper phase increased first and then decreased,and the two components had a certain compensation *** non-ionic micro-emulsion system,with the increase of temperature,the oil yield in the upper phase rose first and then *** the same time,the influence of leaching conditions on oil removal rate was investigated by one-dimensional sand column leaching *** was found that for diesel oil contaminated sand with 15%oil content,when the formulation was 2.00 wt%SDBS,4.05 wt%n-butanol and 0.40 wt%sodium chloride,the optimum leaching conditions were leaching rate of 4 ml·min-1 and leaching amount of 400 *** such conditions,the oil removal rate was up to 82.84%,that is,the oil content of the sand was reduced to 2.57%.Moreover,the micro-emulsion has good cyclicity,and it can still achieve high oil yield after six cycles.

Transient thermal analysis as measurement method for IC package structural integrity

Practices of IC package reliability testing are reviewed briefly, and the application of transient thermal analysis is examined in great depth. For the design of light sources based on light emitting diode （LeD） efficient and accurate reliability testing is required to realize the potential lifetimes of 105 h. Transient thermal analysis is a standard method to determine the transient thermal impedance of semiconductor devices, e.g. power electronics and LeDs. The temperature of the semiconductor junctions is assessed by time-resolved measurement of their forward voltage （Vf）. The thermal path in the IC package is resolved by the transient technique in the time domain. This enables analyzing the structural integrity of the semiconductor package. However, to evaluate thermal resistance, one must also measure the dissipated energy of the device （i.e., the thermal load） and the k-factor. This is time consuming, and measurement errors reduce the accuracy. To overcome these limitations, an innovative approach, the relative thermal resistance method, was developed to reduce the measurement effort, increase accuracy and enable automatic data evaluation. This new way of evaluating data simplifies the thermal transient analysis by eliminating measurement of the k-factor and thermal load, i.e. measurement of the lumen flux for LeDs, by normalizing the transient Vf data. This is especially advantageous for reliability testing where changes in the thermal path, like cracks and delaminations, can be determined without measuring the k-factor and thermal load. Different failure modes can be separated in the time domain. The sensitivity of the method is demonstrated by its application to high- power white InGaN LeDs. For detailed analysis and identification of the failure mode of the LeD packages, the transient signals are simulated by time-resolved finite element （Fe） simulations. The reduced graphene oxide（RGO）/γ-A1OOH hybrids with different γ-AlOOH contents were successfully prepared via a facile one-pot hydrothermal method. In these hybrids, RGO acts as a conductive linker for improving electron transport, and γ-AlOOH nanoplatelets help to adsorb the target metal ions on the electrode surface, thus faci- litating the electrochemical behavior of the hybrids. The sensitivity of as-prepared RGOγ-AlOOH hybrids toward Pb（II） was tested by square wave anodic stripping voltammograms（SWASV）and the mass ratio of graphene to γ-AlOOH was optimized to improve the sensing performance of RGOγ-AlOOH hybrids. Owing to the superior ab- sorbability of γ-AlOOH for heavy metal ions and excellent electrical conductivity of graphene, the detection limit of the hybrids for heavy metal ions was found to be as low as 1.5× 10^-11 mol/L with optimized γ-AlOOH content in the hybrids. The experimental conditions, such as pH value, mass of electrode material, and deposition time were also investigated and optimized. The as-prepared RGOγ-AlOOH hybrids demonstrate high electrochemical activity and good sensing performance, which offers an alternative platform for the electrochemical sensors.

In the present study, we developed and validated a rapid analytical method using high performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry(HPLC-Q-TOF/MS) to investigate the metabolic profile of Guge Fengtong tablet(GGFTT), a traditional Chinese medicine. The urine and bile samples were collected with 24 h after oral administration of GGFTT. A total of 34 compounds, including 11 parent compounds and 23 metabolites were unambiguously or tentatively identified. Our results indicated that glucuronidation, oxidation and methylation were the major metabolic pathways of the constituents in GGFTT. In addition, the results of this work also demonstrated the feasibility of HPLC-eSI-Q-TOF/MS for reliable characterization of the in vivo metabolites from herbal preparations.

A series of β-cyclodextrin-conjugated 4-arm poly（ethylene glycol）-poly（lactide-co-glycolide）（4-arm PeG-PLGA） copolymers were synthesized by a ring-opening polymerization of D,L-lactide and glycolide using 4-arm PeG as initiator, and then conjugated with mono（6-ethylenediamine-6-deoxy）- β-cyclodextrin （CDen） or ethylenediamino-bridged bis- β-CD （BCDen）. The chemical structures of copolymers were confirmed by IH-NMR and FTIR spectroscopy. The , β-CD-conjugated PeG-PLGA formed stable reverse micelles due to the formation of fl-CD and bovine serum albumin （BSA） inclusion complexation, which could accommodate BSA in the organic solvent with improved encapsulation efficiency. Moreover, we demonstrated a one-step approach to construct macroporous protein-containing films using these reverse micelles. The films with ordered pore arrays were directly prepared from reverse micelles. Interestingly, the protein was totally located in the whole matrix except for the pores.
