A mild and practical method for synthesizing fluorinated quinoline derivatives,which have a wide range of applications in pharmaceuticals,materials,and organic synthesis,was described through C—F bond insertion into indoles using CHBr_(2)*** simple conditions,readily availability of CHBr_(2)F,as well as the versatility of the transformations make this strategy very powerful in synthesizing 3-fluoroquinoline and *** mechanistic studies reveal that bromofluorocarbene generated in-situ under basic condition was the key intermediate.

The surge in interest regarding the next generation of optical fiber transmission has stimulated the development of digital signal processing(DSP)schemes that are highly cost-effective with both high performance and low *** benchmarks for nonlinear compensation methods,however,traditional DSP designed with block-by-block modules for linear compensations,could exhibit residual linear effects after compensation,limiting the nonlinear compensation *** we propose a high-efficient design thought for DSP based on the learnable perspectivity,called learnable DSP(LDSP).LDSP reuses the traditional DSP modules,regarding the whole DSP as a deep learning framework and optimizing the DSP parameters adaptively based on backpropagation algorithm from a global *** method not only establishes new standards in linear DSP performance but also serves as a critical benchmark for nonlinear DSP *** comparison to traditional DSP with hyperparameter optimization,a notable enhancement of approximately 1.21 dB in the Q factor for 400 Gb/s signal after 1600 km fiber transmission is experimentally demonstrated by combining LDSP and perturbation-based nonlinear compensation *** from the learnable model,LDSP can learn the best configuration adaptively with low complexity,reducing dependence on initial *** proposed approach implements a symbol-rate DSP with a small bit error rate(BER)cost in exchange for a 48%complexity reduction compared to the conventional 2 samples/symbol *** believe that LDSP represents a new and highly efficient paradigm for DSP design,which is poised to attract considerable attention across various domains of optical communications.

BACKGROUND Cancer is one of the most serious threats to human health *** treatments such as surgery and chemotherapy are associated with some *** recent years,traditional Chinese medicine treatment has been increasingly advocated by patients and attracted attention from clinicians,and has become an indispensable part of the comprehensive treatment for gastric *** To investigate the mechanism of Xiaojianzhong decoction(XJZ)in the treatment of gastric cancer(GC)by utilizing network pharmacology and experimental validation,so as to provide a theoretical basis for later experimental *** We analyzed the mechanism and targets of XJZ in the treatment of GC through network pharmacology and ***,we verified the impact of XJZ treatment on the proliferative ability of GC cells through CCK-8,apoptosis,cell cycle,and clone formation ***,we performed Western blot analysis and real-time quantitative PCR to assess the protein and mRna expression of the core *** XJZ mainly regulates IL6,PTGS2,CCL2,MMP9,MMP2,HMOX1,and other target genes and pathways in cancer to treat *** inhibition of cell viability,the increase of apoptosis,the blockage of the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase,and the inhibition of the ability of cell clone formation were observed in AGS and HGC-27 cells after XJZ *** addition,XJZ induced a decrease in the mRna expression of IL6,PTGS2,MMP9,MMP2,and CCL2,and an increase in the mRna expression of *** significantly inhibited the expression of IL6,PTGS2,MMP9,MMP2,and CCL2 proteins and promoted the expression of the heme oxygenase-1 *** XJZ exerts therapeutic effects against GC through multiple components,multiple targets,and multiple *** findings provide a new idea and scientific basis for further research on the molecular mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of XJZ in the treatment of GC.

Biological structural materials not only exhibit remarkable mechanical properties but also often embody dynamic characteristics such as environmental responsiveness,autonomy,and self-healing,which are difficult to achieve in conventional engineering *** merging materials science,synthetic biology,and other disciplines,engineered living materials(ELMs)provide a promising solution to combine living organisms with abiotic components,thus facilitating the construction of functional“living”*** natural materials,ELMs possess vitality and hold immense application potential in areas such as medicine,electronics,and construction,captivating increasing research attention *** an emerging branch of ELMs,structural ELMs aim to mimic living biological structural materials by achieving desired mechanical performance while maintaining important“living”*** we summarize the recent progress and provide our perspectives for this emerging research *** first summarize the superiority of structural ELMs by reviewing biological structural materials and biomimetic material design ***,we provide a systematic discussion on the definition and classifications of structural ELMs,their mechanical performance,and physiological ***,we summarize some critical challenges faced by structural ELMs and highlight directions of future *** hope this review article can provide a timely summary of the state of the art and relevant perspectives for future development of structural ELMs.

Channel equalization plays a pivotal role within the reconstruction phase of passive radar reference *** the context of reconstructing digital terrestrial multimedia broadcasting(DTMB)signals for low-slow-small(LSS)target detection,a novel frequency domain block joint equalization algorithm is presented in this *** the DTMB signal frame structure and channel multipath transmission characteristics,this article adopts a unconventional approach where the delay and frame structure of each DTMB signal frame are reconfigured to create a circular convolution block,facilitating concurrent fast Fourier transform(FFT)*** equalization,an inverse fast Fourier transform(IFFT)-based joint output and subsequent data reordering are executed to finalize the equalization process for the DTMB *** and measured data confirm that this algorithm outperforms conventional techniques by reducing signal errors rate and enhancing real-time *** passive radar LSS detection,it effectively suppresses multipath and noise through frequency domain equalization,reducing false alarms and improving the capabilities of weak target detection.

The precise movement speed regulation is a key factor to improve the control effect and efficiency of the cyborg ***,the current stimulation techniques cannot realize the graded control of the *** this study,we achieved the multi-level speed regulation of cyborg rats in the large open field and treadmill by specifically targeting the Cuneiform Nucleus(CnF)of the Mesencephalic Locomotor Region(MLR).Detailed,we measured the influence of each stimulation parameter on the speed control process which included the real-time speed,accelerated speed,response time,and acceleration *** concluded that the pulse period and the pulse width were the main determinants influencing the accelerated speed of cyborg *** the amplitude of stimulation was found to affect the response time exhibited by the cyborg *** study provides valuable insights into the regulation of rat locomotion speed and highlights the potential for utilizing this approach in various experimental settings.

Anomalies of Precipitation over China on Days with Tropical Cyclone Activity over the Bay of Bengal: Role of Moisture Transport

Tropical cyclones over the Bay of Bengal(BoBTC)affect the precipitation over China,with distinct seasonal and daily *** study quantitatively examines the daily standardized precipitation anomalies(SPAs)over China on the days with BoBTC activities(storm-days)and related circulations,based on rainfall measurements at surface meteorological stations and ECMWF reanalysis data on a 0.25°×0.25°resolution during *** positive SPA is found over the stations in the two adjacent regions around BoB(Southwest China in May/November and southern Tibetan Plateau in October)and three distant regions(Southeast China and the northeastern boundary of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in May,and central North China in October).The SPA distributions are remarkably consistent with the integrated water vapor transport(IVT)*** IVT is found associated with the interaction between southwesterly(southerly)of the BoBTC circulation and low-level monsoonal flow in May(midlevel westerly in winter months).The probabilities of extreme precipitation(EP)occurrences over the above regions all increase on *** adjacent regions,EP is significantly correlated with the northward IVT anomalies to the east of BoBTC circulation,which strengthen the water vapor input through the southern *** IVT anomalies are stronger in May,benefited by the deep monsoonal southwesterlies than those in *** distant regions,EP is more closely related to the IVT anomaly extending back from *** moisture from BoB concentrates along a local low-level convergence line over Southeast China,being further facilitated by coexistence of the BoBTC depression and midlevel westerly trough in *** results highlight the interactions between BoBTCs and local weather systems that influence the general precipitation anomalies and occurrence of EP over China,especially over distant regions.
