Facing the growing global challenge posed by cancer,the quest for more accurate and potent cancer diagnostic and therapeutic strategies continues to require a multidisciplinary integration *** review firstly summarizes various types of nanoparticles in cancer ***,it offers a comprehensive overview of signalenhancing techniques for visualizing in situ tumors,along with multimodal diagnostic methods for detecting *** for tumor therapy,cutting-edge drug delivery methods that can cross biological barriers and the pinpoint targeting of tumor lesions for precise medical intervention are *** the domain of therapeutic diagnostics,we elucidate the theoretical underpinnings and structural paradigms that underlie a spectrum of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic ***,we present a compendium of publications delineating the clinical applications of each nano-based theragnostic integration ***,this comprehensive review discusses the safety concerns pertaining to the clinical application of nanoparticles and proposes some strategic recommendations to enhance the precision and safety of theragnostic-guided,nanotechnology-based clinical practices.A deeper understanding of nanomaterials,together with intimate interdisciplinary collaborations,nano-wave will most probably guide human beings to win the battle against cancers.

The unavoidable dendrite growth and shuttle effect have long been stranglehold challenges limiting the safety and practicality of lithium-sulfur ***,we propose a dual-action strategy to address the lithium dendrite issue in stages by constructing a multifunctional surface-negatively-charged nanodiamond layer with high ductility and robust puncture resistance on polypropylene （PP） *** uniformly loaded compact negative layer can not only significantly enhance electron transmission efficiency and promote uniform lithium deposition,but also reduce the formation of dendrite during early deposition *** importantly,under the strong puncture stress encountered during the deterioration of lithium dendrite growth under limiting current,the high ductility and robust puncture resistance（145.88 MPa） of as-obtained nanodiamond layer can effectively prevent short circuits caused by unavoidable lithium *** li||li symmetrical cells assembled with nanodiamond layer modified PP demonstrated a stable cycle of over 1000 h at 2 mA cm-2with a polarization voltage of only 29.3 ***,the negative charged layer serves as a physical barrier blocking lithium polysulfide ions,effectively mitigating capacity *** improved cells achieved a capacity decay of only 0.042%per cycle after 700 cycles at 3 C,demonstrating effective suppression of dendrite growth and capacity attenuation,showing promising prospect.

Consideration of structure-foundation-soil dynamic interaction is a basic requirement in the evaluation of the seismic safety of nuclear power facilities. An efficient and accurate dynamic interaction numerical model in the time domain has become an important topic of current research. In this study, the scaled boundary finite element method （SBFEM） is improved for use as an effective numerical approach with good application prospects. This method has several advantages, including dimensionality reduction, accuracy of the radial analytical solution, and unlike other boundary element methods, it does not require a fundamental solution. This study focuses on establishing a high performance scaled boundary finite element interaction analysis model in the time domain based on the acceleration unit-impulse response matrix, in which several new solution techniques, such as a dimensionless method to solve the interaction force, are applied to improve the numerical stability of the actual soil parameters and reduce the amount of calculation. Finally, the feasibility of the time domain methods are illustrated by the response of the nuclear power structure and the accuracy of the algorithms are dynamically verified by comparison with the refinement of a large-scale viscoelastic soil model.

： Consideration of the dynamic effects of the site and structural parameter uncertainty is required by the standards for nuclear power plants （NPPs） in most countries. The anti-seismic standards provide two basic methods to analyze parameter uncertainty. Directly manually dealing with the calculated floor response spectra （FRS） values of deterministic approaches is the first method. The second method is to perform probability statistical analysis of the FRS results on the basis of the Monte Carlo method. The two methods can only reflect the overall effects of the uncertain parameters, and the results cannot be screened for a certain parameter＇s influence and contribution. In this study, based on the dynamic analyses of the floor response spectra of NPPs, a comprehensive index of the assessed impact for various uncertain parameters is presented and recommended, including the correlation coefficient, the regression slope coefficient and Tornado swing. To compensate for the lack of guidance in the NPP seismic standards, the proposed method can effectively be used to evaluate the contributions of various parameters from the aspects ＆sensitivity, acuity and statistical swing correlations. Finally, examples are provided to verify the set of indicators from systematic and intuitive perspectives, such as the uncertainty of the impact of the structure parameters and the contribution to the FRS of NPPs. The index is sensitive to different types of parameters, which provides a new technique for evaluating the anti-seismic parameters required for NPPs.

A Semi-Analytical Potential Solution for Wave Resonance in Gap Between Floating Box and Vertical Wall

Based on potential flow theory, a dissipative semi-analytical solution is developed for the wave resonance in the narrow gap between a fixed floating box and a vertical wall by using velocity potential decompositions and matched eigenfunction expansions. The energy dissipation near the box is modelled in the potential flow solution by introducing a quadratic pressure loss condition on the gap entrance. Such a treatment is inspired by the classical local head loss formula for the sudden change of cross section in channel flow, where the energy dissipation is assumed to be proportional to the square of local velocity for high Reynolds number flows. The dimensionless energy loss coefficient is calibrated based on experimental data. And it is found to be insensitive to the incident wave height and wave frequency. With the calibrated energy loss coefficient, the resonant wave height in gap and the reflection coefficient are calculated by the present dissipative semi-analytical solution. The predictions are in good agreement with experimental data. Case studies suggest that the maximum relative energy dissipation occurs near the resonant frequency, which leads to the minimum reflection coefficient. The horizontal wave forces on the box and the vertical wall attain also maximum values near the resonant frequency, while the vertical wave force on the box decreases abruptly there to a small value.

We consider efficient methods for the recovery of block sparse signals from underdetermined system of linear equations. We show that if the measurement matrix satisfies the block RIP with δ2s 〈 0.4931, then every block s-sparse signal can be recovered through the proposed mixed l2/ll-minimization approach in the noiseless case and is stably recovered in the presence of noise and mismodeling error. This improves the result of Eldar and Mishali （in IEEE Trans. Inform. Theory 55： 5302-5316, 2009）. We also give another sufficient condition on block RIP for such recovery method： 58 〈 0.307.

The mechanical properties, thermodynamic features and their correlation were studied for La-Ce-Ni-Cu-Al high-entropy bulk metallic glasses （HE-BMGs）. Compressive testing indicated that the HE-BMGs are ductile on a microscopic scale but brittle on a macroscopic scale, because of the low fragility index rn of the HE-BMGs. In the non-isothermal process, the activation energies for glass transition for these HE-BMGs are the lowest of the known HE-BMGs. Large values of the Avrami exponent n imply that the crystallization process proceeded through three-dimensional growth and with an increasing nucleation rate. The activation energy for glass transition （Eg） is almost proportional to the HE-BMG fracture strength, because a higher Eg is required to dislodge the molecules from the glassy configuration for the HE-BMGs with a high strength. The findings provide unambiguous evidence for the correlation between the mechanical and thermodynamic properties.

Epithelial morphogenesis and homeostasis are essential for animal development and tissue regeneration, and epithelial disorganization is associated with developmental disorders and tumorigenesis. However, the molecular mechanisms that contribute to the morphogenesis and homeostasis of the epithelium remain elusive. Herein, we report a novel role for the cylindromatosis （CYLD） tumor suppressor in these events. Our results show that CYLD depletion disrupts epithelial organization in both Drosophila egg chambers and mouse skin and intestinal epithelia. Microscopic analysis of proliferating cells in mouse epithelial tissues and cultured organoids reveals that loss of CYLD synergizes with tumor-promoting agents to cause the misorientation of the mitotic spindle. Mechanistic studies show that CYLD accu- mulates at the cell cortex in epithelial tissues and cultured ceils, where it promotes the formation of epithelial adherens junctions through the modulation of microtuhule dynamics. These data suggest that CYLD controls epithelial morphogenesis and homeostasis by modulating the assembly of adherens junctions and ensuring proper orientation of the mitotic spindle. Our findings thus provide novel insight into the role of CYLD in development, tissue homeostasis, and tumorigenesis.
