The construction of lateral p-n junctions is very important and challenging in two-dimensional(2D)semiconductor manufacturing *** researches have demonstrated that vertical p-n junction can be prepared simply by vertical stacking of 2D ***,interface pollution and large area scalability are challenges that are difficult to overcome with vertical stacking *** 2D lateral p-n homojunction is an effective strategy to address these *** selective p-type doping of 2D semiconductors is expected to construct lateral p-n *** this work,we have developed a low-energy ion implantation system that reduces the implanted energy to 300 ***-energy implantation can form a shallow implantation depth,which is more suitable for modulating the electrical and optical properties of 2D ***,we utilize low-energy ion implantation to directly dope nitrogen ions into few-layer WS_(2) and successfully realize a precise regulation for WS_(2) with its conductivity type transforming from n-type to bipolar or even p-type ***,the universality of this method is demonstrated by extending it to other 2D semiconductors,including WSe_(2),SnS_(2) and MoS_(2).Based on this method,a lateral WS_(2) p-n homojunction is fabricated,which exhibits significant rectification characteristics.A photodetector based on p-n junction with photovoltaic effect is also prepared,and the open circuit voltage can reach to 0.39 *** work provides an effective way for controllable doping of 2D semiconductors.

Joule-heating reactors have the higher energy efficiency and product selectivity compared with the reactors based on radiative *** Joule-heating reactors are constructed with electrically-conductive metals or carbon materials,and therefore suffer from stability issue due to the presence of corrosive or oxidizing gases during high-temperature *** this study,chemicallystable and electrically-conductive(La_(0.80)Sr_(0.20))_(0.95)FeO_(3)(LSF)/Gd_(0.1)Ce_(0.9)O_(2)(GDC)ceramics have been used to construct Joule-heating reactors for the first *** the advantage of the resistance decrease of the ceramic reactors with temperature increase,the ceramic reactors heated under current control mode achieved the automatic adjustment of heating to stabilize reactor *** addition,the electrical resistance of LSF/GDC reactors can be tuned by the content of the highconductive LSF in composite ceramics and ceramic density via sintering temperature,which offers flexibility to control reactor *** ceramic reactors with dendritic channels(less than 100μm in diameter)showed the catalytic activity for CO oxidation,which was further improved by coating efficient MnO_(2)nanocatalyst on reactor channel *** Joule-heating ceramic reactors achieved complete CO oxidation at a low temperature of 165℃.Therefore,robust ceramic reactors have successfully demonstrated effective Joule heating for CO oxidation,which are potentially applied in other high-temperature catalytic reactions.

Black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs)are a kind of outstanding optical material due to the tunable band ***,their fluorescence property and stability are obviously weakened in the aqueous phase,which extremely restricts the development of ***,we propose a new method to prepare stable BPQDs in an aqueous solution directly with high absolute fluorescence quantum *** phase BPQDs are synthesized by liquid exfoliation and hydrothermal with NH_(2)-polyethylene glycol(PEG)-NH_(2) as the modification agent to protect the BPQDs,which have high stability more than six *** addition,NH_(2)-PEG-NH_(2) is also a surface passivation agent to enhance the emission of BPQDs by forming P-N bonds,which is confirmed by an absolute fluorescent quantum yield of 11.5%.Moreover,BPQDs show excellent resistance to a strong acid environment and high ionic strengths except for Fe^(3+).Therefore,the BPQDs are a kind of highly selective and linear response fluorescence probe for Fe^(3+).Considering the good biocompatibility of BPQDs,they are employed as cell fluorescent label probes and show excellent fluorescence imaging *** on the unique structural stability and fluorescence performance in the aqueous phase,BPQDs are potential candidates for Fe^(3+)detection and optical bio-imaging.

Increasing static recrystallization(SRX)nucleation rate and decreasing grain growth rate are the main ways to obtain uniform and fine grain microstructure by annealing ***,it is contradictory to raise the SRX nucleation rate and reduce grain growth rate during isothermal annealing *** is because the increase of the SRX nucleation rate needs to raise annealing temperature,while the decline of grain growth rate needs to reduce the annealing *** solve the contradiction,a novel method named cooling recrystallization annealing treatment(CRT)is designed and *** the CRT,the relatively high annealing temperature in the primary stage can promote SRX nucleation,and the gradually decreased annealing temperature can reduce the growth rate of SRX ***,an aged treatment is first carried out to precipitate high content of theδphase before the ***δphases not only provide large numbers of sites for SRX nucleation but also limit the grain growth due to the pinning effect,especially in the primary high-temperature *** results show that the novel method can refine deformed mixed grain microstructure well when the suitable cooling rate,start and final recrystallization annealing temperatures are *** deformed mixed grain can be uniformly refined to an average size of 8.26μm with the route of 900℃×12 h+1020℃→970℃×20 min.

li metal batteries(LMBs)offer signifi-cant potential as high energy density alternatives;nev-ertheless,their performance is hindered by the slow desolvation process of electrolytes,particularly at low temperatures(LT),leading to low coulombic efficiency and limited cycle ***,it is essential to opti-mize the solvation structure thereby achieving a rapid desolvation process in LMBs at ***,we introduce branch chain-rich diisopropyl ether(DIPE)into a 2.5 M li bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide dipropyl ether(DPE)elec-trolyte as a co-solvent for high-performance LMBs at-20℃.The incorporation of DIPE not only enhances the disorder within the electrolyte,but also induces a steric hindrance effect form DIPE’s branch chain,excluding other solvent molecules from li+solvation *** of these factors contribute to the weak interactions between li^(+)and solvent molecules,effectively reducing the desolvation energy of the ***,li(50μm)||LFP(mass loading~10 mg cm^(-2))cells in DPE/DIPE based electrolyte demonstrate stable performance over 650 cycles at-20℃,delivering 87.2 mah g^(-1),and over 255 cycles at 25℃ with 124.8 mah g^(-1).DIPE broadens the electrolyte design from molecular structure considera-tions,offering a promising avenue for highly stable LMBs at LT.

The hollow spherical covalent organic frameworks(COFs)have a wide application prospect thanks to their special ***,the controllable synthesis of uniform and stable hollow COFs is still a *** herein propose a self-templated method for the preparation of hollow COFs through the Ostwald ripening mechanism under ambient conditions,which avoids most disadvantages of the commonly used hard-templating and soft-templating methods.A detailed time-dependent study reveals that the COFs are transformed from initial spheres to hollow spheres because of the inside-out Ostwald ripening *** obtained hollow spherical COFs have high crystallinity,specific surface area(2,036 m^(2)·g^(−1)),stability,and single-batch *** to unique hollow structure,clear through holes,and hydrophobic pore environment of the hollow spherical COFs,the obtained immobilized lipase(BCL@H-COF-OMe)exhibits higher thermostability,polar organic solvent tolerance,and *** BCL@H-COF-OMe also shows higher catalytic performance than the lipase immobilized on non-hollow COF and free lipase in the kinetic resolution of secondary *** study provides a simple approach for the preparation of hollow spherical COFs,and will promote the valuable research of COFs in the field of biocatalysis.

Y0.95-xEu0.05VO4：x Bi3＋（x = 0, 0.02, 0.04,0.06, 0.08, and 0.10 mol） six photoluminescence films were deposited on glass substrates by sol–gel spin-coating method. Their morphology and optical property were investigated. The micrographs for the six samples have no change with Bi3→doping. The emission spectra result shows that a dominant red emission peak at 620 nm, which is due to the Eu3＋electric dipole transition of5D0→7F2,is observed under excitation wavelengths 254 nm. Furthermore, with the content of Bi3→increasing from 0 to0.08 mol, the emission intensity of samples strengthens and reaches a maximum at x = 0.08 mol, then decreases with the doping content to 0.10 mol.

As a newly emerging computing paradigm, edge computing shows great capability in supporting and boosting 5G and Internet-of-Things (IoT) oriented applications, e.g., scientific workflows with low-latency, elastic, and on-demand provisioning of computational resources. However, the geographically distributed IoT resources are usually interconnected with each other through unreliable communications and ever-changing contexts, which brings in strong heterogeneity, potential vulnerability, and instability of computing infrastructures at different levels. It thus remains a challenge to enforce high fault-tolerance of edge-IoT scientific computing task flows, especially when the supporting computing infrastructures are deployed in a collaborative, distributed, and dynamic environment that is prone to faults and failures. This work proposes a novel fault-tolerant scheduling approach for edge-IoT collaborative workflows. The proposed approach first conducts a dependency-based task allocation analysis, then leverages a Primary-Backup (PB) strategy for tolerating task failures that occur at edge nodes, and finally designs a deep Q-learning algorithm for identifying the near-optimal workflow task scheduling scheme. We conduct extensive simulative case studies on multiple randomly-generated workflow and real-world edge-IoT server position datasets. Results clearly suggest that our proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art competitors in terms of task completion ratio, server active time, and resource utilization.
