The li-Mg-B-H composite(2liBH_(4)+MgH_(2))has a high capacity of 11.4 wt%as a hydrogen storage ***,the slow kinetics and poor cycling stability severely restrict its practical *** this work,a layered Nb_(2)C MXene was first synthesized and then introduced to tailor the kinetics and cycling stability of the li-Mg-B-H *** milled 2liH+MgB_(2)composites were initially hydrogenated to obtain the 2liBH_(4)+MgH_(2)*** 2liBH_(4)+MgH_(2)+5wt%Nb_(2)C can release 9.0 wt%H_(2)in 30 min at 400℃,while it is only 2.7 wt%for the undoped 2liBH_(4)+MgH_(2).The dehydrogenation activation energies of MgH_(2)and liBH_(4)are 123 and 154 kJ·mol^(-1)respectively for the 5 wt%Nb_(2)C-doped composite,lower than the undoped composite(164 and 165 kJ·mol^(-1)).The 2liBH_(4)+MgH_(2)+5 wt%Nb_(2)C possesses excellent cycling stability,with the reversible capacity only slightly reduced from 9.4 wt%for the 1st cycle to 9.3 wt%for the 20th ***_(2)C keeps stable in the composite and acts as an efficient catalyst for the li-Mg-B-H *** is believed that both the layered structure and the active Nb element contribu te to the enhanced hydrogen storage performances of the li-Mg-B-H *** work confirms that the Nb_(2)C MXene with layered stru cture has a significant enhancing impact on the li-Mg-B-H hydrogen storage materials,which is different from the bulk NbC.

Digital and analog hybrid control in adaptive interference cancellation system

The digital proportion control is introduced to improve the performance of the analog adaptive interference cancellation system （ICS）. For the high frequency parts of the signals after multiplier are not required,the sampling frequency need not satisfy the sampling theorem for high frequency. Because the sampling,calculation and output expend time in digital control,the ideal condition,delay condition and delay-wait condition are taken into account. Through analyzing the system model with three conditions,we gain the stable conditions of the system,the optimization step factors that can make the system converge fastest and the formulas of the interference cancellation ratios （ICRs）. One step convergence can be accomplished under ideal condition,whereas the system can not converge in one step under delay condition and delay-wait condition. The calculation results show the convergence speed of delay-wait condition is slower than that of delay condition. The ICR is improved with the increase of the step factor which is in stable bound,but the convergence speed is decreased if the step factor exceeds the optimization step factor. In order to avoid that confine,the method of amending the steady state weight to improve the ICR is proposed. The analyses are in agreement with the computer simulations.

Ethylene-mediated leaf senescence and the compromise of photosynthesis are closely associated but the underlying molecular mechanism is a *** we reported that apple DEHYDRATASE-ENOLASE-PHOSPHATASE-COMPLEX1(MdDEP1),initially characterized to its enzymatic function in the recycling of the ethylene precursor SAM,plays a role in the regulation of photosystem I(PSI)activity,activating reactive oxygen species(ROS)homeostasis,and negatively regulating the leaf senescence.A series of Y2H,Pull-down,CO-IP and Cell-free degradation biochemical assays showed that MdDEP1 directly interacts with and dephosphorylates the nucleus-encoded thylakoid protein MdY3IP1,leading to the destabilization of MdY3IP1,reduction of the PSI activity,and the overproduction of ROS in plant *** findings elucidate a novel mechanism that the two pathways intersect at MdDEP1 due to its moonlighting role in destabilizing MdY3IP1,and synchronize ethylene-mediated leaf senescence and the compromise of photosynthesis.

Neuroprotective effects of stearic acid against toxicity of oxygen/glucose deprivation or glutamate on rat cortical or hippocampal slices

Aim:To observe the effects of stearic acid,a long-chain saturated fatty acidconsisting of 18 carbon atoms,on brain(cortical or hippocampal)slices insultedby oxygen-glucose deprivation(OGD),glutamate or sodium azide(NAN3)in ***:The activities of hippocampal slices were monitored by population spikesrecorded in the CA1 region,In vitro injury models of brain slice were induced by10min of OGD,1 mmol/L glutamate or 10 mmol/L *** 30min of pre-incubation with stearic acid(3-30μmol/L),brain slices(cortical or hippocampal)were subjected to OGD,glutamate or NaN3,and the tissue activities were evalu-ated by using the 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride ***886 [5 mmol/L;a noncompetitive inhibitor of proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR-α)] or BADGE(bisphenol A diglycidyl ether;100μmol/L;an antagonist of PPAR-γ)were testedfor their effects on the neuroprotection afforded by stearic ***:Viabilityof brain slices was not changed significantly after direct incubation with ***,glutamate and NaN3injury significantly decreased the viability ofbrain *** acid(3-30 μmol/L)dose-dependently protected brain slicesfrom OGD and glutamate injury but not from NaN3injury,and its neuroprotectiveeffect was completely abolished by ***:Stearic acid can protectbrain slices(cortical or hippocampal)against injury induced by OGD or *** neuroprotective effect may be mainly mediated by the activation of PPAR-γ.

Predictors of patient survival following living donor liver transplantation

BACKGROUND: living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) is considered to be the alterative choice in light of the great shortage of cadaveric donors. However, the characteristics of the patients who will benefit from LDLT have not been well identified. The aim of this study was to define the pre- and intra-operative factors that may influence patient outcome. METHODS: The data from 102 LDLT patients who had operations between 2002 and 2009 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Data were analyzed using uni- and multi-variate analysis according to factors that are known to be associated with outcome in these patients. RESULTS: Overall, the accurate survival rate of recipients at 1, 3, and 5 years was 84%, 76%, and 70%, respectively. The independent risk factors, preoperative renal dysfunction, intraoperative red blood cell transfusions of greater than 5 units, and female to male match (donor to recipient matching), were identified by Cox regression analysis. The pre-transplant model for end-stage liver disease score and a graft to recipient weight ratio of less than 0.8% were not predictive of outcome. The overall 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival of patients with one or no risk factors and two or more risk factors were 91%, 86%, and 83% and 67%, 56%, and 47%, respectively (PluSIONS: In our retrospective study, preoperative renal dysfunction, intraoperative red blood cell transfusions of greater than 5 units, and female to male gender match were independent risk factors for LDLT recipient outcome. Two or more of these risk factors may contribute to poor outcome.

The main conclusions are that leisure motivation is single, and leisure life is monotonous, etc. According to the conclusions, we discuss about the solving suggestions.

Thermoresponsive helical dendronized poly(arylacetylene)s:modulating the dynamic chirality

Helical poly(arylacetylene)s have formed an intriguing class of polymers,whose chiralities are dynamic and liable to external *** combining dendronized polymer topology with dendritic oligoethylene glycols (OEGs),we here report on synthesis of a homologous series of thermoresponsive dendronized poly(arylacetylene)s with either poly(phenyl acetylene) or poly(naphthalene acetylene) as the backbones,and investigate tunability of their helical *** polymers carry dendritic OEG pendants with either methoxyl-or ethoxyl-terminals to tune their unprecedent thermoresponsive behaviors,and at the same time,dendritic shielding plays an important role in mediating their thermal phase transition *** of these polymers is originated from the chiral alanine or phenylalanine moieties within the dendritic pendants,which can be tailored through manipulating solvation in different organic solvents or via thermal dehydration and collapse in ***,achiral additives such as linear or dendritic OEGs and benzene derivatives can act similarly as thermal dehydration to induce chirality transitions of these polymers in aqueous phase through interplay competitions between the additives and the polymers against their hydration.

Simultaneous determination of berberine,matrine and oxymatrine in traditional Chinese medicines by using nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis

A rapid method for the simultaneous determination of berberine(BBR),matrine(MT)and oxymatrine(OMT)by nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis(NACE)was *** separation of the analytes was obtained on a 50cm×50μm ***-silica capillary using a non-aqueous buffer system of 70mM ammonium acetate,7.0% acetic acid and 10% acetonitrile at 25kV and 20℃.The relative standard deviations(R.S.D.)of the migration times and peak areas of the three active components were 0.06%-0.20% and 0.12%-3.41% for berberine,0.11%-0.60% and 0.74%-1.63% for matrine,0.15% and 0.45% for oxymatrine,*** limits of berberine,matrine and oxymtrine were 0.18μg/mL,4.08μg/mL and 4.16μg/mL,*** the tested concentration range,good linear relationships(0.9992 for berberine,0.9988 for matrine and 0.9988 for oxymatrine)were *** linear calibration ranges were 0.45-360.0μg/mL for berberine,8.16-408.0μg/mL for matrine and 20.8-416.0μg/mL for *** method has been successfully applied to the phytochemical analysis of alkaloids extracts from two commonly used traditional Chinese herbal drugs:Sophora flavescens Ait.(Kushen)and Cortex phellodendri chinensis(Huangbai)and their medicinal preparations.
