Gastrointestinal(GI)cancers are among the most common cancer types and leading causes of cancer-related deaths *** is a tremendous clinical need for effective early diagnosis for better healthcare of GI cancer *** this article,we provide a short overview of the recent advances in GI cancer *** the first part,we discuss the applications of blood-based biomarkers,such as plasma circulating cell-free DNA,circulating tumor cells,extracellular vesicles,and circulating cell-free RNA,for cancer liquid *** the second part,we review the current trends of artificial intelligence(AI)for pathology image and tissue biopsy analysis for GI cancer,as well as deep learning-based approaches for purity assessment of tissue *** further provide our opinions on the future directions in blood-based and AI-enhanced approaches for GI cancer diagnosis,and we think that these fields will have more intensive integrations with clinical needs in the near future.

Effect of Thermal Shock and Oxidation on Mechanical Property of Carbon/Carbon Composites with a Silicide Coating

A SiC whisker-toughened MoSi2-SiC-Si coating was prepared on carbon/carbon (C/C) composites surface by a two-step technique of slurry and pack cementation, and the effects of thermal shock and oxidation on the mechanical property of the coated C/C were studied. The flexural strength of C/C composites was improved by 6.8% after coated by SiC whisker-toughened MoSi2-SiC-Si. After thermal cycle between 1773 K and room temperature in air for 10 times, the mass loss of the coated sample was 5.08% and the percentage of remaining strength was 81.97%. After oxidation at 1773K in air for 60 min, the mass loss of the coated sample was 2.57% and the percentage of remaining strength was 89.63%. The decrease of the flexural strength during the thermal cycle and oxidation tests was primarily due to the oxidation of C/C substrate resulting from the cracking of coating.

On the basis of introducing the principle of path analy- sis, this paper positively analyzes the influence factors of culti- vated land change from 1978 to 2002 in Hubei Province. The relationship between the influence factors and cultivated land change is studied by means of the path analysis. The results show that the construction rearrangement of agriculture, grain security and market mechanism are the main factors that decide the culti- vated land change. Meanwhile, the impact of investment, urbani- zation and benefit gap among the different utilizing ways also leads to the change of cultivated land. The result means that though some factors have less direct influence on the change of cultivated land, their indirect influence is significant or vice versa.

AIM： To determine the association between retinal vasculature changes and ***： MEDliNE and EMBASE were searched for relevant human studies to September 2015 that investigated the association between retinal vasculature changes and the prevalence or incidence of stroke; the studies were independently examined for their qualities. Data on clinical characteristics and calculated summary odds ratios （ORs） were extracted for associations between retinal microvascular abnormalities and stroke, including stroke subtypes where possible, and adjusted for key variables. RESULTS： Nine cases were included in the study comprising 20 659 patients, 1178 of whom were stroke patients. The retinal microvascular morphological markers used were hemorrhage, microaneurysm, vessel caliber, arteriovenous nicking, and fractal dimension. OR of retinal arteriole narrowing and retinal arteriovenous nicking and stroke was 1.42 and 1.91, respectively, indicating that a small-caliber retinal arteriole and retinal arteriovenous nicking were associated with stroke. OR of retinal hemorrhage and retinal microaneurysm and stroke was 3.21 and 3.83, respectively, indicating that retinal microvascular lesions were highly associated with stroke. Results also showed that retinal fractal dimension reduction was associated with stroke （OR： 2.28 for arteriole network, OR： 1.80 for venular network）.CONCLUSION： Retinal vasculature changes have a specific relationship to stroke, which is promising evidence for the prediction of stroke using computerized retinal vessel analysis.

Calcium-dependent protein kinases(CDPKs/CPKs)are key regulators of plant stress signaling that translate calcium signals into cellular responses by phosphorylating diverse substrate ***,the molecular mechanism by which plant cells relay calcium signals in response to hypoxia remains ***,we show that one member of the CDPK family in Arabidopsis thaliana,CPK12,is rapidly activated during hypoxia through calcium-dependent phosphorylation of its Ser-186 *** CPK12 shuttles from the cytoplasm to the nucleus,where it interacts with and phosphorylates the group Ⅶ ethylene-responsive transcription factors(ERF-Ⅶ)that are core regulators of plant hypoxia sensing,to enhance their ***,CPK12 knockdown lines show attenuated tolerance of hypoxia,whereas transgenic plants overexpressing CPK12 display improved hypoxia ***,loss of function of five ERF-Ⅶ proteins in an erf-vii pentuple mutant could partially suppress the enhanced hypoxia-tolerance phenotype of CPK12-overexpressing ***,we also discovered that phosphatidic acid and 14-3-3κ protein serve as positive and negative modulators of the CPK12 cytoplasm-to-nucleus translocation,*** together,these findings uncover a CPK12-ERF-Ⅶ regulatory module that is key to transducing calcium signals from the cytoplasm into the nucleus to potentiate hypoxia sensing in plants.

This paper aims to investigate the geodesic motion in the spacetime of a non-linear magnetic charged black hole surrounded by quintessence. By varying the Lagrangian corresponding to the metric, the orbital motion equation has been obtained. The effects of the magnetic charge Q, positive normalization factor C, angular momentum b, and energy E on time-like and null geodesic motion are discussed from three aspects: orbital stability, orbital types, and circular orbits. By comparing the effects of the above parameters C, b on the effective potential, it is found that quintessence has an impact on the types and stability of orbits. In addition, for time-like orbital motion, when 3.443113 ≤ b ≤ 6.392 578(for fixed C = 0.0002, M = 1, Q = 0.7), there are bound orbits, and within this range, the stable circular orbits exist,and the radii of the innermost and outermost stable circular orbit are r = 5.912 654 and r = 56.745 933, respectively. For null orbital motion, the orbital types have only unstable circular orbit which occur at r = 2.951 072(E2= E22= 0.4),absorb orbits and escape orbits, but no stable circular orbits, and bound orbits.

With the rapid expansion of social media,analyzing emotions and their causes in texts has gained significant ***-cause pair extraction enables the identification of causal relationships between emotions and their triggers within a text,facilitating a deeper understanding of expressed sentiments and their underlying *** comprehension is crucial for making informed strategic decisions in various business and societal ***,recent research approaches employing multi-task learning frameworks for modeling often face challenges such as the inability to simultaneouslymodel extracted features and their interactions,or inconsistencies in label prediction between emotion-cause pair extraction and independent assistant tasks like emotion and cause *** address these issues,this study proposes an emotion-cause pair extraction methodology that incorporates joint feature encoding and task alignment *** model consists of two primary components:First,joint feature encoding simultaneously generates features for emotion-cause pairs and clauses,enhancing feature interactions between emotion clauses,cause clauses,and emotion-cause ***,the task alignment technique is applied to reduce the labeling distance between emotion-cause pair extraction and the two assistant tasks,capturing deep semantic information interactions among *** proposed method is evaluated on a Chinese benchmark corpus using 10-fold cross-validation,assessing key performance metrics such as precision,recall,and F1 *** results demonstrate that the model achieves an F1 score of 76.05%,surpassing the state-of-the-art by 1.03%.The proposed model exhibits significant improvements in emotion-cause pair extraction(ECPE)and cause extraction(CE)compared to existing methods,validating its *** research introduces a novel approach based on joint feature encoding and task alignment mechanisms,contributing to advancements in emotion-c

In this paper,a novel method for signal decomposition and denoising is proposed based on a nonuniform filter bank (NUFB),which is derived from a uniform filter *** this method,the signal is firstly decomposed into M subbands using a uniform filter bank. Then according to their energy distribution,the corresponding consecutive filters are merged to compose the nonuniform *** the resulting NUFB,the signal can be readily matched and flexibly decomposed according to its power spectrum *** another advantage,this method can be used to detect and remove the narrow-band noise from the corrupted *** verify the proposed method,a simulation of extracting the main information of an audio signal and removing its glitch is given.
