Optimize two-phase distribution of lithium-rich materials to stabilize structure and suppress voltage attenuation

lithium-rich materials possess the ultra-high specific capacity,but the redox of oxygen is not completely reversible,resulting in voltage attenuation and structural instability.A stepwise co-precipitation method is used for the first time in this paper to achieve the control of the two-phase distribution through controlling the distribution of transition metal elements and realize the modification of particle surface structure without the aid of heterologous *** results of characterization tests show that the content of liMO_(2) phase inside the particles and the content of li_(2)MnO_(3) phase on the surface of the particles are successfully increased,and the surface induced formation of li_(4)Mn_(5)O_(12) spinel phase or some disorderly *** electrochemical performance of the modified sample is as follows:LR(pristine)shows specific discharge capacity of 72.7 mA·h·g^(−1)after 500 cycles at 1 C,while GR(modified sample)shows specific discharge capacity of 137.5 mA·h·g^(−1) at 1 C,and the discharge mid-voltage of GR still remains above 3 V when cycling to 220 cycles at 1 C(mid-voltage of LR remains above 3 V when cycling to 160 cycles at 1 C).Therefore,deliberately regulating the local state of the two phases is a successful way to reinforced the material structure and inhibition the voltage attenuation.

MOF-derived molybdenum selenide on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) with superior capacitive performance for lithium-ion capacitors

Two-dimensional Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) exhibits outstanding rate property and cycle performance in lithium-ion capacitors(liCs)due to its unique layered structure,excellent electronic conductivity,and high specific surface ***,like graphene,Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) restacks during electrochemical cycling due to hydrogen bonding or van der Waals forces,leading to a decrease in the specific surface area and an increase in the diffusion distance of electrolyte ions between the interlayer of the ***,a transition metal selenide MoSe_(2) with a special three-stacked atomic layered structure,derived from metal-organic framework(MOF),is introduced into the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) structure through a solvo-thermal *** synergic effects of rapid li+diffusion and pillaring effect from the MoSe_(2) and excellent conductivity from the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) sheets endow the material with excellent electrochemical reaction kinetics and *** composite Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoSe_(2) material exhibits a high capacity over 300 mAh·g^(-1) at 150 mA·g^(-1) and excellent rate property with a specific capacity of 150 mAh·g^(-1) at 1500 mA·g^(-1).Addition-ally,the material shows a superior capacitive contribution of 86.0%at 2.0 mV·s^(-1) due to the fast electrochemical reactions.A Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoSe_(2)//AC liC device is also fabricated and exhibits stable cycle performance.

In this editorial,we have commented on the article that has been published in the recent issue of World Journal of Clinical *** authors have described a case of unilateral thyroid cyst and have opined that the acute onset of infection may be linked to diabetes mellitus(DM).We have focused on the role of nutrition in the association between DM and *** with DM are at a high risk of infection,which could also be attributed to nutrition-related *** interventions for patients with diabetes are mainly based on a low-calorie diet,which can be achieved by adhering to a low-carbohydrate ***,dietary fiber supplementation is recommended to maintain the diversity of the gut ***,high-quality protein can prevent the increased risk of infection due to *** of vitamins C,vitamins A,vitamins D,and folic acid improves blood sugar control and facilitates immune *** deficiencies augment the risk of infection,but the relationship with diabetes is mostly U-shaped and a good intake should be maintained.

Petrogenesis and Tectonic Significance of the Xiuwacu Two-Period Magmatism in Geza Arc of Yunnan Province： Constraints from lithogeochemistry, Zircon U-Pb Geochronology and Hf isotopic Compositions

Objective The Late Cretaceous Xiuwacu ore-bearing porphyry is located in the Geza area of southern Yidun arc, SW China. In this area, the rock mass is mainly composed of three lithofacies： biotite granite porphyry, monzonitic granite and light alkali feldspar granite. As a part of the Yidun arc, the Geza arc has common structure and temporal- spatial evolution with the ~idun arc, which has experienced three stages of oceanic crust subduction, collision orogeny and intracontinent convergence stages. The molybdenite ores in the area are mainly hosted in monzonitic granite-porphyry and structural fracture zone, and the ore bodies are strictly controlled by faults. In recent years, great geological prospecting results have been achieved in Xiuwacu, and the deposit has reached a medium scale. However, there are few researches on the metallogenic porphyry. Based on the previous research, we determined the rock-forming and ore-forming age of the porphyry, and found that there were two stages of magmatism intrusion in Xiuwacu： Indosinian and Yanshanian. We also discussed the geochemical characteristics and source area of the rocks in the area.

Realistic interpretation of quantum mechanics and encounter-delayed-choice experiment

In this paper, a realistic interpretation(REIN) of the wave function in quantum mechanics is briefly presented. We demonstrate that in the REIN, the wave function of a microscopic object is its real existence rather than a mere mathematical ***, the quantum object can exist in disjointed regions of space just as the wave function is distributed, travels at a finite speed, and collapses instantly upon a measurement. Furthermore, we analyze the single-photon interference in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) using the REIN. Based on this, we propose and experimentally implement a generalized delayed-choice experiment, called the encounter-delayed-choice experiment, where the second beam splitter is decided whether or not to insert at the encounter of two sub-waves along the arms of the MZI. In such an experiment, the parts of the sub-waves, which do not travel through the beam splitter, show a particle nature, whereas the remaining parts interfere and thus show a wave nature. The predicted phenomenon is clearly demonstrated in the experiment, thus supporting the REIN idea.

Sodium-ion batteries hold great promise as next-generation energy storage ***,the high instability of the electrode/electrolyte interphase during cycling has seriously hindered the development of *** particular,an unstable cathode–electrolyte interphase(CEI)leads to successive electrolyte side reactions,transition metal leaching and rapid capacity decay,which tends to be exacerbated under high-voltage ***,constructing dense and stable CEIs are crucial for high-performance *** work reports localized high-concentration electrolyte by incorporating a highly oxidation-resistant sulfolane solvent with non-solvent diluent 1H,1H,5H-octafluoropentyl-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl ether,which exhibited excellent oxidative stability and was able to form thin,dense and homogeneous *** excellent CEI enabled the O3-type layered oxide cathode NaNi_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)O_(2)(NaNMF)to achieve stable cycling,with a capacity retention of 79.48%after 300 cycles at 1 C and 81.15%after 400 cycles at 2 C with a high charging voltage of 4.2 *** addition,its nonflammable nature enhances the safety of *** work provides a viable pathway for the application of sulfolane-based electrolytes on SIBs and the design of next-generation high-voltage electrolytes.

Asymptotic state estimation for linear systems with sensor and actuator faults

This paper investigates the asymptotic state estimation problem for linear systems with sensor and actuator faults, where the faults are modeled via multiple modes. For the case of sensor faults, we first introduce a new notion of detectability, i.e., detectability of system against sensor faults. The notion helps to address the question of whether it is possible to asymptotically estimate the system state by using the control input and system output, irrespective of which mode the system is in and what values the fault signals are.A necessary and sufficient condition for the system to be detectable against sensor faults is given, and then two switched observers are proposed for asymptotic state estimation with the help of maximin strategy. For the system with ? fault modes, we provide the explicit form of the switched observer, which is based on a bank of ?(?+1)/2 Luenberger-like or sliding-mode observers. Furthermore, extensions to the case of sensor and actuator faults are further studied. Finally, a simulation example of a reduced-order aircraft system is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.

Effects on soil quality of biochar and straw amendment in conjunction with chemical fertilizers

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects on chemical and microbiological properties of paddy soil of short-term biochar,straw,and chemical fertilizers compared with chemical fertilization *** soil fertilization treatments were evaluated：regular chemical fertilizers（RF）,straw＋regular chemical fertilizers（SRF）,straw biochar＋regular chemical fertilizers（SCRF）,bamboo biochar（BC）＋regular chemical fertilizers（BCRF）,and straw biochar＋70%regular chemical fertilizers（SC＋70%RF）.Their effects were investigated after approximately 1.5 *** soil p H and cation exchange capacity（CEC）were significantly higher in biochar-treated *** soil phosphorous（P）and potassium（K）contents increased with biochar *** soil Colwell P content was significantly increased with the addition of straw biochar in the treatments of SCRF and SC＋70%*** oxygen（O）：carbon（C）ratio doubled in BC picked from the *** indicated that BC underwent a significant oxidation process in the *** denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis（DGGE）fingerprints of microbial communities differed among the *** with added biochar had higher Shannon diversity and species richness indices than soils without *** results suggest that biochar can improve soil fertility.

Effect of Olefin-based Compatibilizers on the Formation of Cocontinuous Structure in Immiscible HDPE/iPP Blends

In this work,the formation of cocontinuous structure in immiscible high density polyethylene/isotactic polypropylene(HDPE/iPP)blends was investigated for various olefin-based compatibilizers of distinct molecular architectures,including ternary random copolymer EPDM,olefin block copolymer(OBC),polypropylene-based OBC(PP-OBC),ethylene/a-olefin copolymer(POE),bottlebrush polymer poly(1-dodecene),and comb-like poly(propylene-co-high a-olefin)(PPO).The scanning electron microscopy results show that after adding OBC,PP-OBC,and POE copolymers,the finer droplet-in-matrix morphologies were obtained in 70/30 HDPE/iPP ***,for 70/30 HDPE/iPP blend with just 5 wt%of PPO copolymers,the phase inversion from droplet-in-matrix to cocontinuous morphology can be *** was proposed that the development of cocontinuous morphology contained the following steps:(1)in terfacial saturati on of compatibilizers and droplet deformation,(2)droplet-droplet coalesce nee,(3)continuity development,and(4)the formation of dual-phase con *** the diverse copolymers studied in this work,PPO copolymer can be easily removed out of the interface during droplet coalescence and stabilize the curvature of minor fiber phase,facilitating the formation of cocontinuous *** contrast,other olefin-based compatibilizers(EPDM,OBC,PP-OBC,and POE)exhibit the distinct steric repulsion effect to prohibit droplet ***,the cocontinous interval varies with the compatibilizer ***,after adding 10 wt%of PPO copolymers,the cocontinuous interval was greatly broadened from HDPE/iPP range of 45/55-60/40 to that of 40/60-70/30.
