let G be a simple graph with maximum degree Δ(G) and total chromatic number x ve (G). Vizing conjectured that Δ(G) + 1 ? X ve (G) ? δ(G) + 2 (Total Chromatic Conjecture). Even for planar graphs, this conjecture has not been settled yet. The unsettled difficult case for planar graphs is Δ(G) = 6. This paper shows that if G is a simple planar graph with maximum degree 6 and without 4-cycles, then x ve (G) ? 8. Together with the previous results on this topic, this shows that every simple planar graph without 4-cycles satisfies the Total Chromatic Conjecture.

Acute myocardial infarction （AMI） is a typical arterial thrombotic event. Acute arterial thrombosis is a common disease with high morbidity worldwide. The sites at which the thrombus forms tend to be abnormal and patients with arterial thrombosis tend to be younger. Thus, arterial thrombosis has been a social burden and the consequent high morbidity and disability have been a worldwide health problem.I21 The typical pathology of acute arterial thrombosis is the rupture of soft plaque cap in the arterial endarterium, aggregation of platelets at the site of rupture and subsequent thrombosisJ31 Acute rupture of soft plaque cap has been regarded as an initiator of arterial thrombosis.

Based on a generalized chaos synchronization system and a discrete Sinai map, a non-symmetric true color （RGB） digital image secure communication scheme is proposed. The scheme first changes an ordinary RGB digital image with 8 bits into unrecognizable disorder codes and then transforms the disorder codes into an RGB digital image with 16 bits for transmitting. A receiver uses a non-symmetric key to verify the authentication of the received data origin, and decrypts the ciphertext. The scheme can encrypt and decz：Fpt most formatted digital RGB images recognized by computers, and recover the plaintext almost without any errors. The scheme is suitable to be applied in network image communications. The analysis of the key space, sensitivity of key parameters, and correlation of encrypted images imply that this scheme has sound security.

为解决游标电机功率因数偏低的问题,提出了一种提高功率因数的电机设计优化思路。首先,使用绕组函数法计算出分数槽集中双层绕组的电感,推导出游标电机的功率因数表达式,分析影响功率因数的主要设计参数;其次,结合有限元法研究各设计参数改变时电机性能的变化规律,进而总结出设计思路;然后,以一台裂齿式游标电机为基准样机,按照所提思路重新设计一台高功率因数的电机,并采用遗传算法对电机主要设计参数进行多目标优化;最后,与基准样机进行性能对比,结果表明所设计电机的功率因数更高,验证了理论分析和所提设计思路的有效性。

This paper establishes two theorems for two time-delayed （chaotic） discrete systems to achieve timedelayed generalized synchronization （TDGS）. These two theorems uncover the genera/forms of two TDGS systems via a prescribed transformation. As examples, we convert the Lorenz three-dimensional chaotic map to an equal time-delayed system as the driving system, and construct the TDGS driven systems according to the Theorems 1 and 2. Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed theorems.

The cellular neural/nonlinear network （CNN） is a powerful tool for image and video signal processing, robotic and biological visions. This paper introduces a kind of CNNs with performance of extracting closed domains in binary images, and gives a general method for designing templates of such a kind of CNNs. One theorem provides parameter inequalities for determining parameter intervals for implementing prescribed image processing functions, respectively. Examples for extracting closed domains in binary scale images are given.

Immune checkpoint inhibition against advance malignancies was named breakthrough discovery by the science magazine in *** numerous clinical studies,monoclonal antibodies against the immune checkpoints,CTLA4,PD1 and PD1 ligand PDL1 have shown promising tumor response in different type of metastatic *** adverse events are *** endocrine disorders,hypophysitis and thyroiditis are among the most common side effects associated with immune checkpoint inhibition ***,a very rare endocrine disorder occurs in about one tenth of the patients receiving anti-CTLA4 ***,on the other hand,is more commonly seen in patients receiving anti-PD1 *** addition,both thyroiditis and hypophysitis are common in patients receiving combination treatment with anti-CTLA4 and anti-PD1 *** time to onset of hypophysitis and thyroiditis is *** of the endocrine disorders occur within 12 weeks after initiation of the immune checkpoint inhibition *** can manifest as total anterior pituitary hormone deficiency or isolated pituitary hormone *** insipidus is *** and gonadotropin deficiencies may be reversible but ACTH deficiency appears *** can present as hypothyroidism or thyrotoxicosis followed by *** appears *** identifying the onset of hypophysitis and thyroiditis and proper management of these endocrine disorders will improve the quality of the life and the outcome of this novel immunotherapy.

The nonlinear oscillatory phenomenon has been observed in the system of immune response, which corresponds to the limit cycles in the mathematical models. We prove that the system simulating an immune response studied by Huang has at least three limit cycles in the system. The conditions for the multiple limit cycles are useful in analyzing the nonlinear oscillation in immune response.

通过对普通石英砂(QS)进行氨基及铝钙双氢氧化物改性制得氨基改性砂(AMS)和铝钙双氢氧化物改性砂(CAS),分别以QS、AMS、CAS为滤料填充滤池进行挂膜,研究了不同石英砂表面的生物膜量、生物活性、胞外聚合物(EPS)的特性及对受污染原水的处理效果。结果表明,挂膜成功后CAS表面的生物活性最高,为42.00 mgO_(2)/(g·h),生物膜量和胞外聚合物的含量最大,分别为12.43 mg/g、105.09 mg/(g·SS),对COD_(Cr)、NH^(+)_(4)-N的去除率分别稳定在58.20%、89.50%;AMS表面的生物活性、生物膜量、EPS平均含量分别为32.97 mgO_(2)/(g·h)、9.07 mg/g、93.41 mg/(g·SS),对COD_(Cr)、NH^(+)_(4)-N的去除率分别为54.60%、85.10%。三种石英砂表面生物量分布均沿水流方向递减,EPS的含量从溶解性胞外聚合物(SL-EPS)到紧密附着性胞外聚合物(TB-EPS)呈上升趋势。
