Background Mycoplasma pneumoniae(***)is a significant contributor to community-acquired pneumonia among *** 1968,when a strain of *** resistant to macrolide antibiotics was initially reported in Japan,macrolide-resistant ***(MRMP)has been documented in many countries worldwide,with varying incidence *** infections lead to a poor response to macrolide antibiotics,frequently resulting in prolonged fever,extended antibiotic treatment,increased hospitalization,intensive care unit admissions,and a significantly higher proportion of patients receiving glucocorticoids or second-line *** 2000,the global incidence of MRMP has gradually increased,especially in East Asia,which has posed a serious challenge to the treatment of *** infections in children and attracted widespread attention from ***,there is still no global consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of MRMP in *** We organized 29 Chinese experts majoring in pediatric pulmonology and epidemiology to write the world’s first consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric MRMP pneumonia,based on evidence *** evidence searches and reviews were conducted using electronic databases,including PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CNKI,Medline,and the Cochrane *** used variations in terms for“macrolide-resistant”,“Mycoplasma pneumoniae”,“MP”,“***”,“pneumonia”,“MRMP”,“lower respiratory tract infection”,“Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection”,“children”,and“pediatric”.Results Epidemiology,pathogenesis,clinical manifestations,early identification,laboratory examination,principles of antibiotic use,application of glucocorticoids and intravenous immunoglobulin,and precautions for bronchoscopy are *** and rapid identification of gene mutations associated with MRMP is now available by polymerase chain reaction and fluorescent probe techniques in respiratory *** the resistance rate to mac

An acupuncture meta-analysis for optic atrophy Seven randomized,controlled trials

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture for optic atrophy. DATA SOURCES： A computer-based online search was conducted in Medline （1966-2008）, Embase （1986-2008）, the Cochrane Library （up to 2008）, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database （1975-2008）, China National Knowledge Infrastructure （1994-2008）, VIP Database （1989-2008）, Wanfang Database （1980-2008） and the National Research Register for ongoing trials. DATA SELECTION： Randomized, controlled trials addressing acupuncture treatment for patients with optic atrophy were included in this review. Inclusion criteria evaluated all forms of acupuncture therapy, such as filiform needle, electro-acupuncture, laser-acupuncture, acupressure, and auricular-acupuncture. Comparisons between acupuncture therapy and no treatment （blank） or placebo or Chinese medicine or Western medicine, as well as between acupuncture as an adjuvant and other treatments, were included. Exclusion criteria included studies comparing different forms of acupuncture therapy, different manipulations of acupuncture, and different acupuncture prescriptions, as well as non-randomized, controlled trials and animal studies. The domain-based evaluation criteria recommended by the guidelines in Chapter 8 of the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions 5.0.1 was used to assess quality of the included studies. According to the type of outcome index, measurement data as assessed by weighted mean difference or standardized mean difference and 95% confidence interval; numeration data was estimated by relative risk and 95% confidence interval. Heterogeneity was analyzed by Meta-analysis using RevMan 5.0 software. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Improved visual acuity and visual field was sought between treatment and control groups in the included articles. Evaluation of the binding affinity and antioxidant activity of phlorizin to pepsin and trypsin

Phlorizin(PHL)is a natural compound with strong antioxidant properties mainly found in *** this paper,the interaction mechanism of PHL with pepsin and trypsin was comparatively evaluated by computer simulation,fluorescence spectra,circular dichroism(CD),and Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectra at a molecular *** spectra showed that PHL quenches the pepsin/trypsin by static *** parameters indicated that PHL binds to pepsin mainly through hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces,and that of trypsin was electrostatic *** ground state complexes PHL and protease have a moderate affinity of 105 L/mol PHL binds more strongly to trypsin than to *** and FT-IR spectra results showed that pepsin/trypsin decreased theβ-sheet content and slightly changed its secondary structure upon *** experimental results are mutually verified with the predicted computer-aid simulation *** PHL and trypsin binding,the antioxidant capacity of PHL was ***,the antioxidant capacity of PHL was decreased after binding to *** work elucidates the binding of PHL binding mechanisms to pepsin/trypsin and provides useful information for the digestion of PHL to improve the application of PHL in food processing.

Highly efficient and stable iron electrodes are of great significant to the development of iron-air battery(IAB).In this paper,iron nanoparticle-encapsulated C–N composite(NanoFe@CN)was synthesized by pyrolysis using polyaniline as the C–N *** performance of the NanoFe@CN in different electrolytes(alkaline,neutral,and quasi-neutral)was investigated via cyclic voltammetry(CV).The IAB was assembled with NanoFe@CN as the anode and IrO_(2)+Pt/C as the *** effects of different discharging/charging current densities and electrolytes on the battery performance were also *** K_(2)SO_(4)electrolyte can effectively suppress the passivation of iron electrode,and the battery showed a good cycling stability during 180 charging/discharging *** to the pure nano-iron(NanoFe)battery,the NanoFe@CN battery has a more stable cycling stability either in KOH or NH_(4)Cl+KCl electrolyte.

Investigation of Adhesive Perception Based on Friction and Brain Activation

The enhancement of adhesive perception is crucial to maintaining a stable and comfortable grip of the skin-touch *** study the tactile perception of adhesive surfaces,subjective evaluation,skin friction and vibrations,and neurophysiological response of the brain activity were investigated *** materials,which are commonly used for bionic materials and skin-touch products,were chosen for the tactile *** results showed that with the increasing of surface adhesion,the dominant friction transferred from a combination of adhesive friction and deformation friction to adhesive *** friction coefficient and vibration amplitude had strong correlations with the perceived adhesion of *** parietal lobe and occipital lobe were involved in adhesive perceptions,and the area and intensity of brain activation increased with the increasing surface *** with larger adhesion tended to excite a high P300 amplitude and short latency,indicating that the judgment was faster and that more attentional resources were involved in adhesive ***,the electroencephalograph signals of the adhesive perception were simulated by the neural mass *** demonstrated that the excitability and intensity of brain activity,and the connectivity strength between two neural masses increased with the increasing surface *** study is meaningful to understand the role of surface adhesion in tactile friction and the cognitive mechanism in adhesive perception to improve the tactile experience of adhesive materials.

Diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases in Zhejiang Province: a cross-sectional survey

Background： The specialty of allergy developed quickly in western countries because of the rapid increase of allergic diseases, whereas it developed relatively slowly in China. The prevalence of allergen sensitization and allergic diseases in Zhejiang Province of China is high and improving the medical services for these diseases is critically needed. Objective： To investigate the working status of the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases, including doctor resources, diagnostic methods, and allergen-specific immunotherapy in patients of Zhejiang Province, and to provide instructions for the strategic development of subspecialties of allergic diseases. Methods： First we defined the doctors who treat allergic diseases, and designed a comprehensive questionnaire to collect personal and hospital information for these doctors. The questionnaires were distributed to hospitals with different ranks and from different areas in the province. The general condition of doctor＇s resources, carryout of diagnostic methods, and allergen-specific immunotherapy were described and variations in the different specialties, hospitals, and areas were further analyzed. Results： Doctors in their thirties with bachelor＇s degrees were the mainstream for diagnosing and treating allergic diseases. The main specialties of the doctor resources were the specialties of Ear, Nose and Throat（ENT）, Respirology, Pediatrics, and Dermatology. The Pediatrics specialty had a more reasonable infrastructure of doctor resources with more young doctors working in this subspecialty. The development of allergy subspecialty varied within hospitals at different levels or from different areas. The carryout of the skin prick test（SPT）, serum specific Ig E（ss Ig E）, and subcutaneous immunotherapy（SCIT） was best performed in provincial hospitals, while sublingual immunotherapy（SLIT） was prescribed most commonly in municipal hospitals.
