Ion-conducting Membranes Based on Bacterial Cellulose Nanofibers Modified by Poly(sodium acrylate-co-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid)

Green method for preparation of ion-conducting membranes(ICM) based on bacterial cellulose nanofibers(CNF) modified by a copolymer of sodium acrylate and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid was elaborated. FTIR and NMR data confirmed grafting of polyacrylate onto cellulose surface. Formation of porous structure of the ICM was controlled by SEM and AFM. The maximal ionic conductiv.ty of the membranes reaches 1.5 and 3.1 mS·cm^(-1)(60 ℃ and 98% relativ. humidity) when they are saturated with water or H_2SO_4(1 mol·l^(-1)) electrolyte,respectiv.ly. Prepared ICM was tested as a separator in a symmetrical supercapacitor with electrodes based on polyaniline hydrogel. The assembled cell demonstrate ability to operate at high current density up to 100 A·g^(-1) maintaining specific capacitance 165 F·g^(-1). Maximal specific capacitance of 289 F·g^(-1) was achiev.d at current density 1 A·g^(-1). Retaining of 90% of initial capacitance after 10000 of charge-discharge cycles prov.s high electrochemical stability of prepared ICM.

In the background of f(R,l_(m))grav.ty,this work inv.stigates three distinct dark matter halo profiles to test the possibility of generalised wormhole geometry within the galactic halo *** current study aims to accomplish these goals by examining v.rious dark matter profiles including univ.rsal rotation curv.s(URC),Nav.rro-Frenk-White(NFW)model-Ⅰ,and NFW model-Ⅱinside two distinct f(R,l_(m))grav.ty *** to the f(R,l_(m))=R/2+l^(a)_(m)model,the dark matter(DM)halo density profiles produce suitable shape functions that meet all the necessary requirements for exhibiting the wormhole geometries with appropriate choice of free *** addition,to examine DM profiles under the f(R,l_(m))=R/2+(1+λR)l_(m) model,we consider a specific shape ***,we observ.d that the deriv.d solution from both two models v.olates the null energy constraints,confirming that the DM supports wormholes to maintain in the galactic halo.

Dear Editor,This letter concerns the parameter tuning problem for nonlinear satellite buffer networks with communication delays, aiming to optimize their stability properties under l_(1)-gain. We first model the satellite buffer networks by a nonlinear time-delay positiv. system and propose a nov.l characterization under which the nonlinear system is asymptotically stable with a prescribed l_(1)-induced performance.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)is a cofactor that serv.s to shuttle electrons during metabolic processes such as glycolysis,the tricarboxylic acid cycle,and oxidativ. phosphorylation(OXPHOS).NADH is autofluorescent,and itsfluorescence lifetime can be used to infer metabolic dynamics in l.ving ***-coupled time-correlated single photon counting(TCSPC)equipped with an implantable needle probe can be used to measure NADH lifetime in v.v.,enabling inv.stigation of changing metabolic demand during muscle contraction or tissue *** study illustrates a proof of concept for point-based,minimally-inv.siv. NADHfluorescence lifetime measurement in *** muscle loss(v.l)injuries were created in the left tibialis anterior(TA)muscle of male Sprague Dawley *** lifetime measurements were collected before,during,and after a 30 s tetanic contraction in the injured and uninjured TA muscles,which was subsequently-t to a biexponential decay model to yield a metric of NADH utilization(cytoplasmic v. protein-bound NADH,the A11/A22 ratio).On av.rage,this ratio was higher during and after contraction in uninjured muscle compared to muscle at rest,suggesting higher l.vels of free NADH in contracting and recov.ring muscle,indicating increased rates of *** injured muscle,this ratio was higher than uninjured muscle ov.rall but decreased ov.r time,which is consistent with current knowledge of inflammatory response to injury,suggesting tissue regeneration has *** data suggest that-ber-coupled TCSPC has the potential to measure changes in NADH binding in v.v. in a minimally inv.siv. manner that requires further inv.stigation.

The hydrothermal synthesis of In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–In_(2)O_(3)is inv.stigated as well as the properties of sensor layers based on these *** the synthesis of In_(2)O_(3),intermediate products In(OH)_(3)and InOOH are formed,which are the precursors of stable cubic(c-In_(2)O_(3))and metastable rhombohedral(rh-In_(2)O_(3))phases,respectiv.ly.A transition from c-In_(2)O_(3)to rh-In_(2)O_(3)is observ.d with the addition of CeO_(2).The introduction of cerium into rh-In_(2)O_(3)results in a decrease in the sensor response to hydrogen,while it increases in composites based on c-In_(2)O_(3).The data on the sensor activ.ty of the composites correlate with XPS results in which CeO_(2)causes a decrease in the concentrations of chemisorbed oxygen and oxygen v.cancies in rh-In_(2)O_(3).The rev.rse situation is observ.d in composites based on c-In_(2)O_(3).Compared to In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–In_(2)O_(3)obtained by other methods,the synthesized composites demonstrate maximum response to H_(2)at low temperatures by 70–100℃,and hav. short response time(0.2–0.5 s),short recov.ry time(6–7 s),and long-term stability.A model is proposed for the dependence of sensitiv.ty on the direction of electron transfer between In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2).
