The real number α∈[0, 1) is a jump for r if there exists a constant c> 0 such that for any ε> 0 and any integer m≥r, there exists an integer n0（ε, m） satisfying any r-uniform graph with n≥n0（ε, m） vertices and density at least α+εcontains a subgraph with m vertices and density at least α+c. A result of Erd?s and Simonovits （1966） and Erd?s and Stone （1946） implies that every α∈[0, 1) is a jump for r=2. Erd?s （1964） asked whether the same is true for r≥3. Frankl and R?dl （1984） gave a negative answer by showing that 1-1/（lr-1） is not a jump for r if r≥3 and l> 2r. After that, more non-jumps are foundlr-1is not a juby using a method of Frankl and R?dl （1984）. Motivated by an idea of liu and Pikhurko （2023）, in this paper,we show a method to construct maps f:[0, 1)→[0, 1) that preserve non-jumps, i.e., if α is a non-jump for r given by the method of Frankl and R?dl （1984）, then f （α） is also a non-jump for r. We use these maps to study hypergraph Tura′n densities and answer a question posed by grosu （2016）.

The resin of Ferula sinkiangensis has been traditionally utilized for treating gastrointestinal disorders,inflammation,tumors,various cancers,and alopecia *** primary bioactive constituents,sesquiterpene coumarins,have demonstrated notable therapeutic potential against *** this study,a structure-guided fractionation method was used to isolate nine novel sesquiterpene coumarins from the resin of *** compounds were characterized and structurally elucidated using comprehensive physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques,including calculated electronic circular dichroism(ECD).Anti-neuroinflammatory assays revealed that compounds 2,3,and 6 significantly inhibited nitric oxide(NO)production in lipopolysaccharide(lPS)-stimulated BV2 microglial cells,with IC_(50)values ranging from 1.63 to 12.25μmol·l^(−1).

Recently electrochemical synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)through oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)via 2e^(-)pathway is considered as a green and on-site ***,it still remains a big challenge for fabricating novel metal-free catalysts under acidic solutions,since it suffers from high overpotential due to the intrinsically week*OOH ***,a co-doped carbon nanosheet(O/N–C)catalyst toward regulating O and N content was synthesized for improving the selectivity and activity of H_(2)O_(2)electrosynthesis *** O/N–C exhibits outstanding 2e-ORR performance with low onset potential of 0.4 V(***)and a selectivity of 92.4%in 0.1 mol/l HClO_(4)*** in situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)tests reveals that the N incorporation contributes to the fast ORR *** density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the binding strength of*OOH was optimized by the co-doping of oxygen and nitrogen at certain content,and the O/N–C–COOH site exhibits a lower theoretical overpotential for H_(2)O_(2)formation than O–C–COOH ***,the promoted kinetics for typical organic dye degradation in simultaneous electron-Fenton process on O/N–C catalyst was demonstrated particularly for broadening its environmental application.

Hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))production by the electrochemical 2-electron oxygen reduction reaction(2e−ORR)is a promising alternative to the energy-intensive anthraquinone process,and single-atom electrocatalysts show the unique capability of high selectivity toward 2e−ORR against the 4e−*** extremely low surface density of the single-atom sites and the inflexibility in manipulating their geometric/electronic configurations,however,compromise the H_(2)O_(2) yield and impede further performance ***,we construct a family of multiatom catalysts(MACs),on which two or three single atoms are closely coordinated to form high-density active sites that are versatile in their atomic configurations for optimal adsorption of essential*OOH *** them,the Cox–Ni MAC presents excellent electrocatalytic performance for 2e−ORR,in terms of its exceptionally high H_(2)O_(2) yield in acidic electrolytes(28.96 mol l^(−1) gcat.^(−1) h^(−1))and high selectivity under acidic to neutral conditions in a wide potential region(>80%,0–0.7 V).Operando X-ray absorption and density functional theory analyses jointly unveil its unique trimetallic Co2NiN8 configuration,which efficiently induces an appropriate Ni–d orbital filling and modulates the*OOH adsorption,together boosting the electrocatalytic 2e−ORR *** work thus provides a new MAC strategy for tuning the geometric/electronic structure of active sites for 2e−ORR and other potential electrochemical processes.

Background: Congenital heart disease is a public health issue due to its incidence and mortality rate. The aim of this study was to investigate the long-term mortality of children with congenital heart disease admitted to the Departmental University Hospital of Borgou/Alibori (CHUD-B/A) from 2011 to 2022. Methods: This descriptive longitudinal study with analytical aims covered 11 years (April 1, 2011 to December 31, 2022). It consisted of a review of the records of children under 15 years of age with echocardiographically confirmed congenital heart disease. This was followed by an interview with the parents to assess the children’s current condition. Data were entered using Kobocollect software and analyzed using R Studio 4.2.2. software. Results: A total of 143 complete files were retained. The median age at diagnosis was 14 months (IIQ: Q1 = 4;Q3 = 60) with a range of 2 days and 175 months, and the sex-ratio (M/F) was 0.96. left-to-right shunts were the most frequent cardiopathy group (62.9%). Only 35 children (24.5%) benefited from restorative treatment. The mortality rate was 31.5%. Median survival under the maximum bias assumption was 114 months and 216 months under the assumption of minimum bias. Survival was significantly better in children with right-to-left shunts (p = 0.0049) under the assumption of minimum bias. The death risk factors were: age at diagnosis less than 12 months (aHR = 7.58;95% CI = 3.36 - 17.24;p Conclusion: The long-term mortality of congenital heart disease is high and favoured by the absence of restorative treatment. local correction of congenital heart disease and medical follow-up will help to reduce this mortality.

Although tumor cell membranes with broad-spectrum antigens have been explored for cancer vaccines for decades,their relatively poor capacity to stimulate immune responses,especially cellular immune responses,has limited their ***,we presented a novel bacterial and cancerous cell membrane fusogenic liposome for co-delivering cell membrane-derived antigens and ***,a programmed death-ligand 1(PD-l1)inhibitor,JQ-1,was incorporated into the formulation to tackle the up-regulated PD-l1 expression of antigen-presenting cells(APCs)upon vaccination,thereby augmenting its anti-tumor *** fusogenic liposomes demonstrated significantly improved cellular uptake by APCs and effectively suppressed PD-l1 expression in bone marrow-derived dendritic cells(BMDCs)in *** subcutaneous vaccination,the nano-vaccines efficiently drained to the tumor-draining lymph nodes(TDlNs),and significantly inhibited PD-l1 expression of both dendritic cells(DCs)and macrophages within the TDlNs and *** a result,the liposomal vaccine induced robust innate and cellular immune responses and inhibited tumor growth in a colorectal carcinoma-burden mouse *** summary,the fabricated cell membrane-based fusogenic liposomes offer a safe,effective,and easily applicable strategy for tumor immunotherapy and hold potential for personalized cancer immunotherapy.
