The aim of the curren. study was to in.estigate the pharmacol.gical.activity of gl.bridin.n.the isol.ted human.saphen.us vein.(SV) an. expl.re the un.erl.in. mechan.sms. Sampl.s of patien.s' SVs were removed durin. bypass surgery, an. 4-mm l.n.ths of the vessel. were pl.cedin.Krebs sol.tion.at ±4℃ an. hun. in.an.isol.ted organ.bath to assess their con.raction.rel.xation.espon.es. The con.raction.rel.xation.respon.es were recorded to observe if the cycl.c guan.sin.mon.phosphate (cGMP)/protein.kin.se G (PKG) pathway mediates the rel.xan. effect of gl.bridin.fter treatmen. with bl.ckers l.ke ODQ (a guan.l.te cycl.se in.ibitor), KT5823 (a PKG in.ibitor),isobutyl.ethyl.an.hin. [IBMX, a phosphodiesterase (PDE) in.ibitor], an. can.haridin.[Can.,a myosin.l.ght-chain.phosphatase (Ml.P) in.ibitor]. Moreover, n.tric oxide (n.), cGMP, an.PKG l.vel. in.SV tissues were determin.d by El.SA after in.ubation.with gl.bridin. n.o)-n.tro-l.argin.n. methyl.ester (l.n.me, a n. syn.hetase in.ibitor), phen.l.phrin. (PE), ODQ, IBMX,an. KT5823. The resul.s showed that gl.bridin.rel.xed the vascul.r smooth muscl. of human.V pretreated with PE in.a dose-depen.en. man.er, which was in.epen.en. of the *** vasorel.xan. effect of gl.bridin.was on.0} in.ibited by iberiotoxin.(IbTX), Can., an. *** in.reased cGMP an. PKG l.vel. in.SV homogen.tes, whereas it did n.t al.er the n.l.vel. The en.an.in. efects of cGMP an. PKG l.vel. by gl.bridin.were abol.shed by ODQ an.KT5823. In.con.l.sion. gl.bridin.has a vasorel.xan. effect, which is associated with the activation.f BKc. chan.el. an. in.ibition.of PDE.

In.roduction. Con.en.tal.chyl.thorax, defin.d by the presen.e of chyl. in.the pl.ural.cavity, is a rare con.en.tal.disorder of varyin. severity. The objective of this study was to report a case of idiopathic con.en.tal.chyl.thorax treated with povidon. iodin. effectivel. without side effects after fail.re of con.ervative treatmen. by chest drain.ge. Case presen.ation. A term femal. n.wborn.was admitted in.the n.on.tal.in.en.ive care un.t at 16 days of l.fe, for respiratory distress. The Cl.n.cal.examin.tion.objectified a Sl.verman.score of 3/10 with a pl.ural.effusion.syn.rome. The chest radiography con.irmed the pl.ural.effusion.an. the an.l.sis of the pl.ural.fl.id after aspiration.con.irmed the chyl.thorax, with a protein.rate of 35 g/l. Trigl.cerids 37 mg/l. an. l.ukocytes coun. was 1140/ml.with 90% l.mphocytes. A chest drain.ge was performed on.the seven.h day but fol.owed by the recurren.e of the effusion. The use of 5 ml.of 4% povidon. iodin. in.the pl.ural.space as a chemical.pl.urodesis was performed. The cl.n.cal.an. radiol.gical.evol.tion.was favorabl. after 24 hours without rel.pse or side effects such as al.ergic reaction.or worsen.n. of the respiratory con.ition. Thoracic ul.rasoun. was performed after 15 days, havin. objectified min.mal.right side effusion.measurin. 5 mm maximum thickn.ss. Con.l.sion. Chemical.pl.urodesis by the pol.vidon. iodin. in.the chyl.thorax appears to be affordabl. an. effective, an. n.eds to be more con.iderate in.the con.ervative treatmen. of con.en.tal.chyl.thorax.

In.this study, simul.an.ous n.trification.an. autotrophic den.trification.(Sn.D) with either el.men.al.sul.ur or pyrite were in.estigated in.fl.idized bed reactors in.mesophil.c con.ition.. The reactor performan.e was eval.ated at differen. ammon.um (12-40 mg/l.of n.4+-n., n.trate (35-45 mg/l.of n.3--n., an. dissol.ed oxygen.(DO) (0.1-1.5 mg/l. con.en.ration., with a hydraul.c reten.ion.time of 12 h. The pyrite reactor supported the Sn.D process with a maximum n.trogen.removal.efficien.y of 139.5 mg/(l.d) when.the DO con.en.ration.was in.the ran.e of 0.8-1.5 mg/l. This ran.e, however, l.mited the den.trification.efficien.y of the reactor, which decreased from 90.0% ± 5.3% in.phases II-V to 67.9% ± 7.2% in.phases vi an. viI. Sul.ate precipitated as iron.sul.ate (FeSO4/Fe2(SO4)3) an. sodium sul.ate (n.2SO4) min.ral. durin. the experimen.. The curren. work is focused on.the study of the bio-sorption.of hexaval.n. chromium from aqueous sol.tion.usin. sisal.n.tural.fiber(Agave sisal.n.) treated by various chel.tin. agen.s(l.gan.s) such as urea(UR),thiocarbamide(TC), ethyl.n.diamin.tetraacetic acid(EDTA), an. diphen.l.carbazide(DCZ). The fiber treatmen.s were in.estigated usin. Fourier Tran.form In.rared Spectroscopy(FTIR) an. Scan.in. el.ctron.microscope(SEM). The kin.tics of chromium bio-sorption.was studied in.batch presses un.er the effect of some physicochemical.factors such as the n.ture of chel.tin. agen.(F@UR, F@TC, F@DCZ, an. F@EDTA),adsorben. dose(2–10 g·l.(-1)), chromium in.tial.con.en.ration.100–500 mg·l.(-1)), sol.tion.pH(1–6), an. batch temperature(20 ℃–50 ℃). This study resul.ed in.an.optimum adsorption.at a chromium in.tial.con.en.ration.of 100 mg·l.(-1), at pH 2, an. at 20 ℃. The obtain.d resul.s showed cl.arl. that the treatmen. with chel.tin. agen. boosts the adsorptive capacity of A. sisal.n. fibers Cr(vi) 10.9 mg·g^(-1) to 58.6 mg·g^(-1). The model.n. study showed that the adsorption.kin.tics obey the pseudo-secon.-order model. with an.R2 in.the ran.e of 0.991 an. 0.999. The bio-sorption.isotherms fol.owed the l.n.muir model. the maximum uptake capacity of(F@n. F@UR,F@TC, F@DCZ, an. F@EDTA) was foun. to be respectivel., 12.3 mg·g^(-1), 25.33 mg·g^(-1), 28.73 mg·g^(-1),42.54 mg·g^(-1), an. 61.45 mg·g^(-1). The determin.d adsorption.thermodyn.mics parameters such as en.hal.y,free en.rgy, an. en.ropy showed that the adsorption.process is exothermic, spon.an.ous, an. has a stabl. con.iguration.

n.>Backgroun.:n.> Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in women around the world. The objective of this study was to assess knowledge and attitudes about breast cancer screening among students in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lomé. Methods: This was a prospective descriptive transversal study conducted among students enrolled in the Faculty of Health Sciences (FSS) of the University of Lomé (UL) in the 2019 school year account 2020. The purpose of this study was to assess the knowledge and attitudes of medical students about breast cancer screening. Results: In total, the questionnaire was completed by 934 students, for a response rate of 57.1%. The most frequently mentioned risk factors were the presence of a family history of breast cancer (n = 799, 85.55%) and the use of oral or injectable contraceptives (n = 606, 64.88%). There is a statistically significant link between the participants’ knowledge of the self-examination and clinical examination of the breasts and certain socio-demographic characteristics, namely age (OR = 0.2, 95% CI [0.11n. - 0.75], p-value 0.0001), the level of study (OR = 1.5, 95% CI [0.55 - 2.46], p-value = 0.0054), the follow-up of a course on breast cancer (OR = 2.63, 95% CI [0.32l.="fon.-famil.
