A degradative solvent extraction method for upgrading low-rank coal was performed at 200-350◦C for 90 min to obtain a substance dissolved in the solvent at room temperature(Soluble).Because the resulting mixture exhibited a high carbon content without ash,it could be readily used as a ***,deep eutectic solvents(DESs)have attracted attention for improving the Soluble yield and decreasing the oxygen content in *** is known to cleave oxygen-containing functional groups in biomass and is considered effective for deoxidizing low-rank ***,DES was prepared by mixing choline chloride,FeCl3⋅6H2O,and Adaro subbituminous coal(AD)and then added to 1-methylnaphthalene(1-MN)in a non-polar solvent,followed by degradative solvent extraction in the range of 200-350◦*** effects of reaction temperature and added DES amount on the product yield and the composition were *** the reaction temperature and amount of DES added increased,the Soluble yield and carbon content *** was also found that the thermal decomposition temperature and oxygen content decreased with the increasing DES *** decrease indicates that DES promotes the deoxygenation and decomposition of AD and increases the soluble yield of the fuel source.

L1_(0)-ordered FeNi alloy with a high uniaxial magnetic anisotropy and large magnetic moment is a promising candidate for rare-earth-free permanent magnets ***,the synthesis of this chemically ordered phase remains a longstanding challenge because of its low chemical order-disorder transition temperature(200-320℃).Although a non-equilibrium synthetic route based on a nitrogen topotactic reaction has been proposed as a valid approach,the volume fraction and degree of chemical ordering of the product phase are ***,we propose a promising approach that promotes the efficient formation of L1_(0)-ordered nitride phase in FeNi nanopowders by introducing a quenching treatment during a low-oxygen induction thermal plasma *** quenched FeNi nanopowders possessed much smaller powder sizes(40.4 vs 74.0 nm),exhibited higher number densities of nanotwins(39.8%vs 24.1%)and formed much larger volume fraction(33.6 wt.%vs 0.6 wt.%)of ordered phase than the unquenched ***,quenching-induced high-density nanotwins led to the dominant coverage of serrated{001}crystal facets over the surfaces of the FeNi *** unique features substantially accelerated the formation of the L1_(0)-ordered nitride phase in the FeNi nanopowders because the{001}crystallographic orientation had the highest nitrogen *** work provides not only a valid synthetic approach for mass production of the L10-ordered nitride phase in FeNi nanopowders but also novel insights into the crystal-defect-assisted nitridation of nanomaterials.

Background:Although overnight fasting is recommended prior to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP),the benefits and safety of high-carbohydrate fluid diet(CFD)intake 2 h before ERCP remain *** study aimed to analyze whether high-CFD intake 2 h before ERCP can be safe and accelerate patients’***:This prospective,multicenter,randomized controlled trial involved 15 tertiary ERCP centers.A total of 1330 patients were randomized into CFD group(n=665)and fasting group(n=665).The CFD group received 400 mL of maltodextrin orally 2 h before ERCP,while the control group abstained from food/water overnight(>6 h)before *** ERCP procedures were performed using deep sedation with intravenous *** investigators were blinded but not the *** primary outcomes included postoperative fatigue and abdominal pain score,and the secondary outcomes included complications and changes in metabolic *** outcomes were analyzed according to a modified intention-to-treat ***:The post-ERCP fatigue scores were significantly lower at 4 h(4.1±2.6 vs.4.8±2.8,t=4.23,P<0.001)and 20 h(2.4±2.1 vs.3.4±2.4,t=7.94,P<0.001)in the CFD group,with least-squares mean differences of 0.48(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.26-0.71,P<0.001)and 0.76(95%CI:0.57-0.95,P<0.001),*** 4-h pain scores(2.1±1.7 vs.2.2±1.7,t=2.60,P=0.009,with a least-squares mean difference of 0.21[95%CI:0.05-0.37])and positive urine ketone levels(7.7%[39/509]vs.15.4%[82/533],χ^(2)=15.13,P<0.001)were lower in the CFD *** CFD group had significantly less cholangitis(2.1%[13/634]vs.4.0%[26/658],χ^(2)=3.99,P=0.046)but not pancreatitis(5.5%[35/634]vs.6.5%[43/658],χ^(2)=0.59,P=0.444).Subgroup analysis revealed that CFD reduced the incidence of complications in patients with native papilla(odds ratio[OR]:0.61,95%CI:0.39-0.95,P=0.028)in the multivariable ***:Ingesting 400 mL of CFD 2 h before ERCP is safe,with a reduction in post-ERCP fatigue,

BACKGROUND Hyperammonemia and hepatic encephalopathy are common in patients with portosystemic *** shunt occlusion has been standard treatment,although recently the less invasive balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration(B-RTO)has gained increasing *** far,there have been no reports on the treatment of portosystemic shunts with B-RTO in patients aged over 90 *** this study,we present a case of hepatic encephalopathy caused by shunting of the left common iliac and inferior mesenteric veins,successfully treated with *** SUMMARY A 97-year-old woman with no history of liver disease was admitted to our hospital because of disturbance of *** had no jaundice,spider angioma,palmar erythema,hepatosplenomegaly,or *** blood tests showed hyperammonemia,and abdominal contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed a portosystemic shunt running between the left common iliac vein and the inferior mesenteric *** was diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy secondary to a portosystemic *** patient did not improve with conservative treatment:Lactulose,rifaximin,and a low-protein diet.B-RTO was performed,which resulted in shunt closure and improvement in hyperammonemia and disturbance of ***,there was no abdominal pain or elevated levels of liver enzymes due to *** patient was discharged without further consciousness *** Portosystemic shunt-borne hepatic encephalopathy must be considered in the differential diagnosis for consciousness disturbance,including abnormal behavior and speech.

This review aimed to highlight the etiology,diagnosis,treatment,and prevention of obstructive and secretory complications associated with diverting ileostomy(DI).Obstructive complications at the stoma site are termed stoma outlet obstruction(SOO)or stoma-related obstruction(SRO).The incidence of SOO/SRO is 5.4%-27.3%,and the risk factors are multifactorial;however,the configuration of the stoma limb and the thickness of the rectus abdominis muscle(RAM)may be of particular ***-stomal tube decompression is initially attempted with a success rate of 33%-86%.A thick RAM may carry the risk of *** refinement,including a wider incision of the anterior sheath and adequate stoma limb length,avoids tension and immobility and may decrease SOO/*** complications of DI are termed high output stoma(HOS).Persistent HOS lead to water and sodium depletion,and secondary hyperaldosteronism,resulting in electrolyte imbalances,such as *** incidence of HOS is 14%-24%,with an output of 1000-2000 mL/d lasting up to three *** of HOS is commenced after excluding postoperative complications or enteritis and includes fluid intake restriction,antimotility and antisecretory drug therapies,and magnesium *** monitoring and surveillance programs have been successful in decreasing readmissions for dehydration.

Patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)are more likely to have concurrent immune-mediated inflammatory diseases(IMIDs)than those without *** have been observed to alter the phenotype and outcomes of IBD in recent *** studies have found that IBD patients with concurrent IMIDs may have more extensive or severe disease phenotypes,and are considered to be at increased risk of requiring biologics and IBD-related surgeries,suggesting that having multiple IMIDs is a poor prognostic factor for ***,IBD patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis and Takayasu arteritis are reported to have unique endoscopic phenotypes,suggesting concurrent IMIDs can influence IBD phenotype with specific intestinal inflammatory *** this review,we discuss the pathogenesis,disease phenotypes,and clinical outcomes in IBD patients with concomitant IMIDs.
