We demonstrate a superficial method for the synthesis of N-substituted 1,8-dioxo-decahydroacridines using β-cyclodextrin as a supramolecular,biodegradable,and reusable catalyst in aqueous *** reaction product is in excellent yield with moderate to excellent *** mechanistic transformation presumably proceeds via a one-pot,multicomponent cyclization of dimedone in the presence of aromatic aldehydes and aromatic amines/INH,undergoing a tandem Michael addition *** proposed approach in this study provides a highly efficient and environmentally benign route to N-substituted 1,8-dioxo-decahydroacridines.

A convenient synthesis of 6-amino-2H,4H-pyrano[2,3-F]pyrazole-5-carbonitriles has been accomplished by one pot four-component cyclocondensation of aromatic aldehydes（1a-o） malanonitrile（2）, ethyl acetoacetate（3）, and hydrazine hydrate（4） in freshly prepared deep eutectic solvent, dES（choline chloride：urea）. This protocol has afforded corresponding pyrano[2,3-F]pyrazoles in shorter reaction time with high yields, and it avoids the use of typical toxic catalysts and solvents.

The Ypresian Cambay Shale Formation at Vastan and Mangrol lignite mines in Gujarat, western India, has yielded a rich vertebrate fauna with numerous taxa of European affinities. Here we report a new, approximately contemporary vertebrate assemblage from two fossiliferous layers in the nearby mine of Tadkeshwar. These layers have yielded a similar mammal fauna with the co-occurrence of the perissodactyl-like cambaytheriid Cambaytherium thewissi, the adapoid primates Marcgodinotius indicus and cf. Asiadapis cambayensis, and the hyaenodontid lndohyaenodon raoi. The presence of these species in both Vastan and Tadkeshwar mines and at different levels suggests that the deposits between the two major lignite seams represent a single land mammal age. Apart from the aforementioned species there is a new, smaller species of Cambaytherium, and a new genus and species of esthonychid tillodont. This fauna also contains the first large early Eocene vertebrates from India, including an unidentified Coryphodon-like pantodont, a dyrosaurid crocodyliform and a new giant madtsoiid snake. Among the Tadkeshwar vertebrates several taxa are of Gondwana affinities, such as Pelomedusoides turtles, dyr- osaurids, and large madtsoiids, attesting that the early Eocene was a crucial period in India during which Laurasian taxa of European affinities co-existed with relict taxa from Gondwana before the India-Asia collision. Our results suggest that terrestrial faunas could have dispersed to or from Europe during episodes of contact between the Indian subcontinent and different island blocks along the northern margin of the Neotethys, such as the Kohistan Ladakh island-arc system. Gondwana taxa might represent remnants of ghost lineages shared with Madagascar, which reached the Indian subcontinent during the late Cretaceous; alternatively they might have come from North Africa and passed along the southern margin of the Neotethys to reach the Indian subcontinent. Mediastinal lipomatous tumors with additional malignant soft tissue components are exceedingly rare. Patients can have substantially large sized tumors with long duration of symptoms and can be misinterpreted on radiographs. Enhancing soft tissue component within a fat density lesion within the mediastinum is alarming and should raise the suspicion of sarcomatous component. Along with diagnostic imaging, selective CT guided biopsy/FNAC from the enhancing soft tissue component can help in making correct diagnosis.

An efficient and greener synthesis of a series of dihydropyrimidinone (dHPMs) derivatives were accomplished via three-component one-pot cyclocondensation between substituted aryl aldehydes, diketone/ke- toester and urea. This solvent free approach is totally nonpolluting having several advantages such as shorter reaction time, mild reaction conditions, simple workup and reduced environmental impact.

The labile organic carbon(C)and C-related enzymes are sensitive indicators capturing alterations of soil organic matter(SOM),even in a short-time *** the effects of crop husbandry and land use change on these attributes have been well studied,there is no consensus about how plant phenology may impact *** study aimed to determine the short-term effect o f six distinct phenological stages(PS-1:full bloom;PS-2:fruit set;PS-3:pit hardening;PS-4:physiological maturity;PS-5:60 d after physiological maturity;and PS-6:fall)o f peach on the changes in soil organic carbon(SOC)fractions of different oxidizability,labile C pools,and C-cycle enzyme activities in soils,for two consecutive years(2015 and 2016)in the North-Western Himalayas(NWH).Peach rhizosphere soils were sampled at the topsoil(0-15 cm)and subsoil(16-30 cm)layers,along with rhizosphere soils from adjacent perennial grasses,which served as a *** for most of the assessed parameters,including very labile C,labile C,microbial biomass C,permanganate oxidizable C,dissolved organic C,mineralizable C,amylase activity,and carboxymethyl-cellulase activity,were significantly(Pdden decline in these soil variables was recorded at PS-5,followed by a slight buildup at PS-6,particularly in the topsoil of the peach ***-term changes in organic C fractions of different oxidizability,influenced by peach phenological stage,significantly(Pd C management index,C pool index,and lability *** the C management index and lability index showed their highest values at PS-3 and their lowest values at PS-5,clearly indicating short-term accretion and depletion of SOC,in tandem with the peach phenological *** component analysis suggested that a composite of soil indicators,including microbial biomass C,dissolved organic C,amylase,and invertase,could help detect short-term changes in SOC *** i

Objectives:To compare operative times,safety,and effectiveness of percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the supine versus prone *** and methods:An observational study of 100 patients was conducted in our institution for 2years from 2018 to 2020 divided into 2 groups:50 patients underwent modified supine percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL)and 50 patients underwent standard prone *** inclusion criteria included a renal calculus(calyx or pelvis)of any size for which PCNL was indicated and exclusion criteria were patients having contraindications for PCNL such as bleeding disorders,pregnancy,high risk,and co-morbid *** measured data included operative time,number of punctures,stone-free rate,length of hospital stays,and rate of ***:The 2 groups were comparable in mean age,male to female ratio,calculus size,number of punctures,residual calculi,and postoperative fever and *** mean difference of hemoglobin in the supine PCNL group was 0.37 g/dL whereas in the prone PCNL group it was 0.61 g/*** p value was significant at *** mean time to finish from initial postion was 72.24 minutes in supine PCNL and 88.12 minutes in prone *** p value was significant(pd 31.84 minutes in the prone *** p value was significant(pd 56.28 minutes in the prone *** p value was significant(pd from this study,supine PCNL is associated with a significantly reduced operating time when compared to conventional prone position PCNL *** postoperative complications such as pain and fever were not significantly ***,the supine PCNL is an equally effective modality for treatment of a renal calculus with benefits of simultaneous retrograde access and less operative time compared to the prone PCNL.

A 3d porous carbon-manganese oxide（3d-C@MnO） nanocomposite is successfully synthesized via a thermal plasma deposition *** chemical bonds and compositions,phase structures,surface morphologies,*** as-obtained 3d-C@MnO nanocomposite were characterized by the various equipment,such as X-ray diffractometer,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and electron *** electrochemical performances of the 3d-C@MnO nanocomposite electrode showed a specific capacitance of 780 Fg;at a current density of 2Ag;and a capacitance retention rate of 99% after 5000 charge-discharge cycles at a high current density of 10Ag;.These excellent capacitive performances may be attributed to the encapsulation of MnO nanoparticles by porous carbon sheets in the 3d-C@MnO nanocomposite *** is believed that the carbon-encapsulated MnO nanoparticles can be protected from a volume deformation during the charge adsorption/desorption cycle and can be electrically improved by the encapsulated carbon sheets,resulting in better overall capacitive *** addition,this study also demonstrates the practical applicability by assembling a supercapacitor using the as-obtained 3d-C@MnO nanocomposite to glow a light emitting diode.
