In the sequence o. a 648 bp fragment representing intro. 1, exo. 2, and part o. intro. 2 o. the MLPH mammalian pigmentatio. gene, we identified a no.el g.469C> G mutatio. in intro. 2, and geno.yped it in 266 Nigerian go.ts using PCR-RFLP analysis. The C allele had frequencies o. 0.9625, 0.9804 and 0.97405 in West African Dwarf (WAD),Sahel(SH) and Red So.o.o.(RS) breeds, respectively. The G allele was the highest in WAD (0.0375), fo.lo.ed by RS (0.02595), and then SH (0.0196). o.erall lo. FIS and FST and high Nm values demo.strate little differentiatio. within and amo.g the go.t breeds at this intro.ic lo.us. The present wo.k aims to.investigate the reco.ery o. light rare earth elements(LREEs) o.ides fro. end-o.life NiMH batteries using a hydro.metallurgical pro.ess fo.lo.ed by effective *** o.eratio.al leaching parameters such as pho.pho.ic acid co.centratio.,temperature,and the so.id-liquid ratio.were first o.timized by Bo.-Behnken *** results reveal that under o.timum co.ditio.s([H_(3)Po.(4)]=2 mo./L,T=80℃,and S/L=1:10 g/mL) the leaching efficiencies o. Ni,Co.reach 98.1% and99.3%.While La,Ce,and Nd elements remain in the leaching residue as(La,Ce,Nd)Po.(4) with yields o. 98.2%,98.6%,and 99.6% fo. La,Ce,and Nd,***,the(La,Ce,Nd)Po.(4) is leached with HCl acid,then the rare earth o.alate was precipitated using o.alic acid at a pH o. 1.8 and then the pro.uct was calcined at 800℃ fo. 2 h in o.der to.synthesize the(Nd,La,Ce)_(2)o.(3).The analysis using scanning electro. micro.co.y(SEM) co.pled with energy dispersive X-ray spectro.co.y(EDX) co.firms the ho.o.eneity o.(Nd,La,Ce)_(2)o.(3) particles that have two.mo.pho.o.ies,i.e.,flo.er and sticks with a particle size between 3and 6 μ*** unit cell parameters o.(Nd,La,Ce)_(2)o.(3) were calculated after Rietveld refinement o. the XRD patterns,in the space gro.p o. Fm-3m are a=b=c=0.57921 nm and the vo.ume equal to.0.194322 nm^(3).

This research aims to.assess air quality surro.nding 28 chemical industry sites in Bato. Ro.ge, Lo.isiana, to.understand the enviro.mental and health impacts o. industrial po.lutants, with a fo.us o. enviro.mental justice. Air quality po.lutants, including PM2.5, PM10, o., No., Co. and So., were mo.ito.ed fo. 75 days during the Summer, using the Breezo.eter app. Pytho., Mapize, and QGIS so.tware techno.o.ies were utilized fo. data analysis and visualizatio.. Findings indicate a reductio. in No. and Co.levels, co.pared to.existing literature. Ho.ever, the persistent challenge o. particulate matter suggests areas fo. further enviro.mental management effo.ts. Additio.ally, the research suggests a significant disparity in air po.lutio. expo.ure, pro.ably affecting marginalized co.munities. Altho.gh the nature o. the study might no. fully capture annual po.lutio. trends, the findings highlight the urgent need fo. the chemical industry to.ado.t efficient pro.uctio. metho.s and fo. po.icymakers to.enhance air quality standards and enfo.cement, particularly in po.lutio.-sensitive areas.
