Energy conservation is a crucial issue to extend the lifetime of wireless sensor networks(WSNs)where the battery capacity and energy sources are very *** energy-saving techniques can help designers overcome this issue by reducing the number of selected sensors that report environmental measurements by eliminating all replicated and unrelated *** paper suggests a Hybrid Sensor Selection(HSS)technique that combines filter-wrappermethod to acquire a rich-informational subset of sensors in a reasonable *** aims to increase the lifetime of WSNs by using the optimal number of *** the same time,HSS maintains the desired level of accuracy and manages sensor failures with the most suitable number of sensors without compromising the *** evaluation of the HSS technique has adopted four experiments by using four different *** experiments show that HSS can extend the WSNs lifetime and increase the accuracy using a sufficient number of sensors without affecting ***,to ensure HSS credibility and reliability,the proposed HSS technique has been compared to other corresponding methodologies and shows its superiority in energy conservation at premium accuracy measures.

This paper proposes Parallelized Linear Time-Variant Acceleration Coefficients and Inertial Weight of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(PLTVACIW-PSO).Its designed has introduced the benefits of Parallel computing into the combined power of TVAC(Time-Variant Acceleration Coefficients)and IW(Inertial Weight).Proposed algorithm has been tested against linear,non-linear,traditional,andmultiswarmbased optimization *** experimental study is performed in two stages to assess the proposed *** I uses 12 recognized Standard Benchmarks methods to evaluate the comparative performance of the proposed PLTVACIWPSO *** based Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)algorithms,TVAC based PSO algorithms,traditional PSO,Genetic algorithms(GA),Differential evolution(DE),and,finally,Flower Pollination(FP)*** phase II,the proposed PLTVACIW-PSO uses the same 12 known Benchmark functions to test its performance against the BAT(BA)and multi-Swarm BAT *** phase III,the proposed PLTVACIW-PSO is employed to augment the feature selection problem formedical *** experimental study shows that the planned PLTVACIW-PSO outpaces the performances of other comparable *** from the experiments shows that the PLTVACIW-PSO is capable of outlining a feature subset that is capable of enhancing the classification efficiency and gives the minimal subset of the core features.

Big data is a vast amount of structured and unstructured data that must be dealt with on a regular *** reduction is the process of converting a huge set of data into data with tiny dimensions so that equal information may be expressed *** tactics are frequently utilized to improve classification or regression challenges while dealing with machine learning *** achieve dimensionality reduction for huge data sets,this paper offers a hybrid particle swarm optimization-rough set PSO-RS and mayfly algorithm-rough set mA-RS.A novel hybrid strategy based on the mayfly algorithm(mA)and the rough set(RS)is proposed in *** performance of the novel hybrid algorithm mA-RS is evaluated by solving six different data sets from the *** simulation results and comparison with common reduction methods demonstrate the proposed mARS algorithm’s capacity to handle a wide range of data ***,the rough set approach,as well as the hybrid optimization techniques PSO-RS and mARS,were applied to deal with the massive data ***-hybrid RS’s method beats other classic dimensionality reduction techniques,according to the experimental results and statistical testing studies.

This study investigates the X-ray properties and evolution of Type II supernovae (SNe II) observed by Swift, examining variations among supernovae and exploring their X-ray characteristics over time. We present the first X-ray study of the Type IIp supernova SN 2008ij using data from the Swift X-ray mission. This investigation focuses on its spectral properties, identifying an X-ray flux of 1.20 (+0.11, −0.10) × 10−13 erg/cm2/s and a plasma temperature of 4.76 (+1.22, −0.83) keV. Our study marks an advancement in understanding SN 2008ij, providing crucial results into its X-ray emission characteristics. These results lay the groundwork for future studies of Type IIp supernovae, offering a foundation for exploring their evolutionary and physical processes.

In the last decade,there has been an increasing interest in understanding the effects of changing injected water salinity on the performance of oil *** paper aims to investigate the effects of injected water salinity on oil recovery of an Egyptian oil reservoir(Bahariya formation).An experimental work program has been performed using 25 core plugs and 5 different water salinities to study the effects of changing water salinity during both secondary and tertiary stages of *** objectives of the experimental work were to(1)investigate the effects of the low water salinity on oil recovery and(2)identify the optimum water salinity and the main reservoir parameters for application of low salinity waterflooding project(LSWF)in Bahariya *** results revealed that there is an optimum salinity for waterflooding in the secondary flooding ***,for the tertiary flooding stage,the results showed that the controlling factor is not decreasing the salinity,but rather changing the salinity(*** increasing or decreasing).It was also clear that applying the optimum salinity in the secondary recovery stage is more effective than applying it in the tertiary recovery ***,the results showed that the positive impact of LSWF may be expected in reservoirs with high amount of kaolinite,high values of CEC,and low amounts of plagioclase *** study is an original contribution to develop guidelines for designing optimum salinity waterflooding projects in sandstone reservoirs.

Low salinity water flooding(LSWF)was initially considered using water with a low concentration of dissolved salts and was later extended to include modifying the ionic content of injected *** work investigates the effects of changing water salinity and composition along with the concentration of sulfate and iodide ions on oil recovery in carbonate reservoirs during the tertiary recovery *** experimental study was carried out using crude oil of 29°API,8 core samples extracted from the Eocene carbonate reservoir(Egypt),and 6 different water *** results showed additional oil recovery up to 5%of the original oil in place(OOIP)in the tertiary recovery stage with changing water salinity and water *** of high salinity(HS)and low salinity(LS)brines with high sulfate concentrations increased the incremental oil recovery by a value ranging from 1.7 to 3.8%of the *** the contrary,injection of HS and LS brines with low sulfate concentrations showed insignificant incremental oil recovery(less than 1%of the OOIP).Furthermore,injection of water with potassium iodide(KI)after injection of water with high sulfate brines showed additional oil recovery of about 1.7%of the *** the other hand,injection of water with KI after injection of water with low sulfate concentration showed insignificant incremental oil recovery(less than 0.4%of the OOIP).The concentration of sulfate in the injected water appeared to be key parameter to achieve effective waterflooding(WF)projects in carbonate ***,the results revealed that the multi-component ion exchange(mIE)mechanism seems to be the primary recovery mechanism for LSWF in carbonate *** results and conclusions of this study can be used to develop guidelines for designing waterflooding projects in carbonate reservoirs with optimum salinity.

This study evaluated the effects of barley inclusion and glucanase supplementation on the productive performance and digestive function in laying *** experiment used a randomized design with a 5×2 factorial arrangement of 5 graded levels of barley(0%,15%,30%,45%and 60%)with or without 1.5 g/kgβ-1,3-1,4-glucanase(15,000 U/kg).During the experimental period of 120 d,the weight and total number of eggs within each pen were recorded daily,and egg quality was determined every 4 *** the end of the experiment,3 randomly selected ducks within each replicate were sacrificed,then duodenal digesta and jejunal mucosa was *** inclusion of barley had no effects on egg production,daily egg mass or FCR,but supplementation with glucanase improved egg production and FCR(Pmotrypsin and amylase in duodenal *** inclusion affected the activity of alkaline phosphatase and maltase in jejunal mucosa(Pmentation of glucanase to barley-based diet reduced digesta glucan content and reduced total volatile fatty acids and increased the proportion of acetic acid in cecal *** results indicate that,without glucanase,the optimal dietary barley level in the diets of laying ducks is about 13%for maximal production performance;glucanase supplementation of the barley diets improved production perfor-mance,probably through enhancing digestive function.

T helper 17(Th17)cells are a newly identified subset of T helper cells that play important roles in host defense against extracellular bacteria as well as in the pathogenesis of autoimmune *** functions of Th17 cells are mediated via the production of several cytokines including interleukin(IL)-17 and *** studies show that the frequency of IL-171 cells is significantly elevated in a variety of chronic liver diseases including alcoholic liver disease,viral hepatitis and hepatocellular ***-17 receptor is expressed virtually on all types of liver cells,while IL-22 receptor expression is restricted to epithelial cells including hepatocytes in the ***-17 seems to play an important role in inducing liver inflammation via stimulating multiple types of liver nonparenchymal cells to produce proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines,while IL-22 appears to be an important factor in promoting hepatocyte survival and proliferation.
