The blockchain is a radical innovation that has a considerable effect on payments,stock exchanges,cybersecurity,and computational ***,its limitations in terms of the uncertainty involved in transaction confirmation are *** this paper,we describe the design of a decentralized voting protocol for the election of a block generator in a consortium blockchain and propose a new system framework that allows fast and exact confirmation of all *** addition,to replace a transaction’s owner signature,a new interactive incontestable signature between the dealer and owner is used to confirm a *** means of this signature,the dealer can assure the owner that a transaction will be permanently included in the blockchain in a non-repudiation ***,the signatures of all transactions in a block share only one witness that provides membership proof between the block and these ***,a security and performance analysis shows that the proposed schemes are provably secure and highly efficient.

Transient ischemic attack（TIA） is a warning signal for stroke.A comprehensive evaluation of TIA may reduce the risk for subsequent *** on the findings of cardiac evaluation with transesophageal echocardiography（TEE） in patients with TIA are *** aims were to determine the frequency of TEE performance and to investigate the findings of TEE in patients with TIA based on the new definition of TIA（i.e.,transient neurological symptoms without evidence of infarction）.During a 4-year period（2011–2014）,1071 patients（mean age,70 ± 13 years;female,49.7%） with TIA were included in a prospective study and *** 1071 consecutive patients suffering from TIA,288 patients（27%） underwent *** median time between admission and TEE was 6 *** with TIA who were evaluated by TEE were younger（67 vs.71 years,P 〈 0.001） than those who were not evaluated by *** had a higher rate of sensibility disturbance as a TIA symptom（39% vs.31%,P = 0.012） but a lower rate of previous stroke（15% vs.25%,P = 0.001） and atrial fibrillation（2% vs.21%,P 〈 0.001） than those who did *** ovale was detected in 71 patients（25.7%）,atrial septal aneurysm in 13 patients（4.6%）,and severe atherosclerotic plaques（grade 4 and 5） in the aortic arch in 25 patients（8.7%）.One patient（0.3%） had a fibroma detected by *** 17 of the 288 patients（6%） who underwent TEE,the indication for anticoagulation therapy was based on the TEE results,and 1 patient with fibroma underwent heart *** hospitalization,7 patients experienced a subsequent stroke,and 27 patients had a recurrent *** 3 months following discharge,the rates of readmission,stroke,recurrent TIA,and death were 19%,2.7%,4.2%,and 1.6%,*** rates of mortality（0.9% vs.1.8%,P = 0.7）,stroke risk（1.9% vs.3.0%,P = 0.8）,and recurrent TIA（5.0% vs.3.9%,P = 0.8） were similar in patients who underwent TEE and in those who did *** TEE in patients with tissue-based TIA is helpful in detecting cardiac so

AIMTo investigate the association of receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) G82S and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) -634 G/C gene polymorphisms with diabetic retinopathy (DR).METHODSOur cross-sectional study included 61 diabetic patients, 12 of them had proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR), 15 had non proliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR), 34 had no diabetic retinopathy (NDR) and 61 healthy controls. Participants were tested for RAGE G82S and VEGF -634 G/C polymorphisms by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length *** found a significant association between VEGF -634 G/C polymorphism and PDR as PDR patients had increased incidence of VEGF -634 CC genotype compared to NDR patients [odds ratio for CC vs (GC+GG)=6.5, 95% CI=1.5-27.8, P=0.021]. Also VEGF -634 CC genotype and C allele were significantly higher in the PDR than in NPDR patients, which is a novel finding in our study (P=0.024, 0.009 respectively). The mean triglycerides level was significantly higher in diabetic patients with CC genotype (P=0.01) as compared to patients with other genotypes. All cases and control subjects were of the same heterozygous RAGE 82G/S *** carrying VEGF -634 C polymorphism have a higher risk of PDR development, so VEGF -634 G/C polymorphism could be used as a predictive marker for PDR in diabetic patients. We could not find a significant association between RAGE G82S polymorphism and DR.

Leishmania donovani is one of the causative agents of visceral *** immune response against Leishmania depends on CD4^(+)T helper type 1 *** immune system is unable to combat Leishmania because the parasite can exert several immune suppressive mechanisms that facilitate escaping the immune *** of these mechanisms is the up-regulation of programmed death-1/programmed death ligand-1 pathway which causes T cells to undergo *** is strongly linked to the immune response,with some research indicating that activating autophagy reduces the immune response to some intracellular pathogens,while others indicate that activating autophagy limits the growth of intracellular *** was found to subvert the host defense mechanisms for its own persistence,such as Leishmania-induced autophagy *** was reported to activate autophagy in different studies,thus getting a dual benefit by evading the immune system and simultaneously utilizing the autophagy byproducts as *** this review,we introduced different immune evasion/suppressive mechanisms used by Leishmania,and different immunotherapies which were developed *** focused on the programmed death-1/programmed death ligand-1 pathway as well as autophagy with the potential interplay of both mechanisms.

The morphogenetic responses to salt stress of TunisianPopu-lus alba clones were studied in order to promote their plantation in dam-aged saline areas. One year-old plants of threeP. alba clones （MA-104, MA-195 and OG） were subjected to progressive salt stress by irrigation during two consecutive years. The plants were grown in a nursery, inside plastic receptacles containing sandy soil and were irrigated with tap water （control） or 3-6 g/l NaCl solution. During this study, leaf epinasty, elongation rate, vigor, internode length, plant architecture, and number of buds were evaluated. Test clone response was highly dependent on the applied treatment and degree of *** most pronounced alterations were induced under 6g/l of NaCl treatment including leaf epinasty, leaf elongation rate delay, vigor decrease, internode length shortening, and morphogenetic modifications. These responses were less noticeable in the MA-104 clone with respect to the two other clones. The salt effect induced a delay in the leaf elongation rate on the MA-195 and OG clones leading to an early leaf maturity. The vigour and internode length of the MA-104 clone was less affected than the other clones. The OG clone was the most salt-sensitive thus, it developed shorter branches and more buds number than MA-195 and MA-104. The effect of long-term salt stress was to induce early flowering of theP. alba clones which suggests that mechanism of salt accommodation could be developed.

The continuous development of cyberattacks is threatening digital transformation endeavors worldwide and leadsto wide losses for various organizations. These dangers have proven that signature-based approaches are insufficientto prevent emerging and polymorphic attacks. Therefore, this paper is proposing a Robust Malicious ExecutableDetection (RMED) using Host-based Machine Learning Classifier to discover malicious Portable Executable (PE)files in hosts using Windows operating systems through collecting PE headers and applying machine learningmechanisms to detect unknown infected files. The authors have collected a novel reliable dataset containing 116,031benign files and 179,071 malware samples from diverse sources to ensure the efficiency of RMED *** most effective PE headers that can highly differentiate between benign and malware files were selected totrain the model on 15 PE features to speed up the classification process and achieve real-time detection formalicious executables. The evaluation results showed that RMED succeeded in shrinking the classification timeto 91 milliseconds for each file while reaching an accuracy of 98.42% with a false positive rate equal to 1.58. Inconclusion, this paper contributes to the field of cybersecurity by presenting a comprehensive framework thatleverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods to proactively detect and prevent cyber-attacks.
