The fate of cells and subsequent bone regeneration is highly correlated with temporospatial coordination of chemical,biological,or physical cues within a local tissue *** understanding of how mammalian cells react to local tissue microenvironment is paramount important when designing next generation of biomaterials for tissue *** study aims to investigate that the regulation of magnesium cationic(Mg^2+)tissue microenvironment is able to convince early-stage bone regeneration and its mechanism undergoes intramembranous *** was discovered that moderate Mg^2+content niche(~4.11 mM)led to superior bone regeneration,while Mg^2+-free and strong Mg^2+content(~16.44 mM)discouraged cell adhesion,proliferation and osteogenic differentiation,thereby bone formation was rarely *** magnesium ions diffused into free Mg zone from concentrated zone in late time point,new bone formation on free Mg zone became significant through intramembranous *** study successfully demonstrates that magnesium cationic microenvironment serves as an effective biochemical cue and is able to modulate the process of bony tissue *** knowledge of how a Mg^2+cationic microenvironment intertwines with cells and subsequent bone formation gained from this study may provide a new insight to develop the next generation of tissuerepairing biomaterials.

Authentication of Video Evidence for Forensic Investigation: A Case of Nigeria

Video shreds of evidence are usually admissible in the court of law all over the world. However, individuals manipulate these videos to either defame or incriminate innocent people. Others indulge in video tampering to falsely escape the wrath of the law against misconducts. One way impostors can forge these videos is through inter-frame video forgery. Thus, the integrity of such videos is under threat. This is because these digital forgeries seriously debase the credibility of video contents as being definite records of events. This leads to an increasing concern about the trustworthiness of video contents. Hence, it continues to affect the social and legal system, forensic investigations, intelligence services, and security and surveillance systems as the case may be. The problem of inter-frame video forgery is increasingly spontaneous as more video-editing software continues to emerge. These video editing tools can easily manipulate videos without leaving obvious traces and these tampered videos become viral. Alarmingly, even the beginner users of these editing tools can alter the contents of digital videos in a manner that renders them practically indistinguishable from the original content by mere observations. dana;">This paper, however, leveraged on the concept of correlation coefficients to produce a more elaborate and reliable inter-frame video detection to aid forensic investigations, especially in Nigeria. The model employed the use of the idea of a threshold to efficiently distinguish forged videos from authentic videos. A benchmark and locally manipulated video datasets were used to evaluate the proposed model. Experimentally, our approach performed better than the existing methods. The overall accuracy for all the evaluation metrics such as accuracy, recall, precision and F1-score was 100%. 目的作者对临床上常用的CT检查部位,腹部和盆腔作了临床应用性实验,以期能获得测量骨矿密度的简便方法。方法 26例患者(男13例,女13例),分别作了CT平扫和增强腹部检查,随后作无专用体模的QCT定量骨密度测定,QCT测量部位为L1-L3椎体。结果平扫CT和QCT的平均骨矿密度分别是96.54和87.70(平均差为8.85,p=0.0005;95％自信区间4.32～13.38)。平扫和增强CT扫描之间QCT测量平均差无统计学意义(P=0.17)。结论根据本文作出的换算公式,可在常规CT平扫和增强扫描的方法中作QCT骨矿密度测量,无需作专门的QCT扫描测量。换算公式为d_(平均值)=C-8.45×0.995,式中“d”和“C”分别表示QCT骨矿密度测量和常规CT扫描检查。

设计和研制具有超灵敏、高精度、选择性好的免疫传感器对于疾病的早期诊断和筛查以及疾病治疗过程的监测具有十分重要的意义。其中,电化学免疫分析法和电化学发光(ECL)免疫分析法,由于具有稳定性好、灵敏度高、线性范围宽、可控性好等优点而备受关注,已成为当前的研究热点之一。金属有机框架(MOFs)作为一类新型的多孔晶体材料,由于其具有比表面积大、化学稳定性好、孔径和纳米级骨架结构可调节等优点,在电化学和ECL免疫传感器的制备中得到了广泛的应用。MOFs不仅可以作为固定生物识别分子的敏感平台,还可以用于富集痕量分析物和信号分子来放大分析信号,提高电化学或ECL免疫分析的灵敏度。目前,科研人员已合成各种各样具有不同性能和形貌的MOFs纳米材料,并用于开发高性能的电化学免疫传感器和ECL免疫传感器。本文综述了不同类型的基于MOFs纳米材料的电化学/ECL免疫传感器的制备及其在免疫分析中的检测应用。研究表明,MOFs不仅可以作为电极表面修饰的基底、信号探针(包括电活性标记分子和电化学发光发光标记探针)、催化活性标记物,还可以作为负载各种生物分子、纳米材料的载体,最终可用于灵敏的电化学和ECL检测。此外,本综述还讨论了未来发展功能化MOFs纳米材料的挑战和机遇,并为未来设计和制造基于MOFs的高性能免疫传感器提出了一些指导性意见。

在过去的40年中,就化学浆厂的经济规模而言,无论是浆厂的大小还是日产吨浆的单位基本建设成本都增加了5倍。而实际的投资单位成本（相当于1996年）的增加则要少得多。近年来,这方面的增加趋势已经放慢,而且还可能不再增加甚至下降。据报道,中国正计划以少数大浆厂取代现有的大量小型浆厂。作为一个大的趋势,这对中国来说,在战略上这也許并非万全之策。如果对未来木材的充足供应没有把握,那就无法确定这些厂能否建成所要求的经济规模,极少有大型浆厂能够依赖天然林或已种植的森林获取经济的木材原料,更多的植树造林势在必行。另一方面,巨大的非木材纤维资源则是源源不断的!但是现有的小厂必须进行技术改造,以减轻其因无碱回收给环境带来的巨大危害。一些新的技术正在成熟之中,且似乎很适合于中国非木材纤维工业的许多用途。本文建议,应有一个总体规划,以明确从乡镇工业转化为区域性工业的各个相互冲突的方案达到战略最优化的要求。

Two new sulfated saponins, philinopsides A (1) and B (2), have been isolated from the sea cucumber Pentacta quadrangularis. Their structures were established by a combination of NMR (600 MHZ) spectroscopic analyses and chemical transformations. Based on dQCOSY, HMQC, NOESY, HMBC and ESIMS data, philinopsides A and B were shown to have the structures 16 β-acetoxy-3-O-{3’’’’ -O-methyl- β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 →3)- β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 →4)- β-d-quinovopyranosyl-(1→2)-4’ -O-sodium sulfate- β-d-xylopyranosyl}-holosta-7, 24- diene- 3 β-ol and 16β-acetoxy-3-O-{3’’’’-O-methyl-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-2’’’-O -sodium sulfate-β-d-xylo- pyranosyl-(1→4)- β-d-quinovo-pyranosyl-(1→2)-4’-O-sodium sulfate- β-d-xylopyranosyl}-holosta- 7,25(26)-diene-3β-ol, respectively. Philinopside A (1) showed significant cytotoxic and anti-angiogenetic activities, although the former in vitro bioactivity was not markedly tumor-type selective.

A combined paleomagnetic and geochronologic study has been conducted on an andesite lava sequence at Jianguo (Liaoning province,northeastern China).Thermal demagnetization and thermomagnetic analysis revealed that natural remanent magnetization is carried by both magnetite and *** thermal demagnetization up to 675℃isolated well-defined reverse characteristic remanent magnetization(ChRM) in three time-independent lava flows with a mean direction of d/I=179.2°/-59.7°withα=3.0°.It also showed that a high-temperature component (>585℃) has the same ChRM direction as that of the low- to medium-temperature(ca.170/300-585℃) components. A modified version of the Thellier-Thellier palcointensity method[Coe,***.72(1967) 3247-3262]with systematic partial thermoremanent magnetization checks was used for paleointensity *** out of 39 samples yieldcd reliable results in the temperature interval of 170-550℃.Virtual dipole moment values range from 3.9 to 4.7×10 Am with an avcragc of 4.2±0.1×10 ***/Ar age determination on one lava flow is 116.8±3.0 Myr(2o error,relative to Fish Canyon sanidinc:28.02±0.28 Myr).The magnetic reversed polarity with well-defined age could correspond to the ’ISEA’ within the oldcr part of the Cretaceous normal superchron(CNS),but we cannot rule out the possibility that this rcvcrsal intcrval could also correspond to the M0r due to many ambiguities on previous publishcd ages on ISEA and M0r intervals as well as thc new monitor age correction we *** also suggests that a wcak magnetic field nature alrcady documented bcfore the CNS extended at least into the very beginning of the CNS.

Pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with group A streptococcal infections (PANdAS) is a concept that is used to characterize a subset of children with neuropsychiatric symptoms, tic disorders, or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCd), whose symptoms are exacerbated by group A streptococcal (GAS) infection. PANdAS has been known to cause a sudden onset of reward deficiency syndrome (RdS). RdS includes multiple disorders that are characterized by dopaminergic signaling dysfunction in the brain reward cascade (BRC), which may result in addiction, depression, avoidant behaviors, anxiety, tic disorders, and/or OCd. According to research by Blum et al., the dopamine receptor d2 (dRd2) gene polymorphisms are important prevalent genetic determinants of RdS. The literature demonstrates that infections like Borrelia and Lyme, as well as other infections like group A beta-hemolytic streptococcal (GABHS), can cause an autoimmune reaction and associated antibodies target dopaminergic loci in the mesolimbic region of the brain, which interferes with brain function and potentially causes RdS-like symptoms/behaviors. The treatment of PANdAS remains controversial, especially since there have been limited efficacy studies to date. We propose an innovative potential treatment for PANdAS based on previous clinical trials using a pro-dopamine regulator known as KB220 variants. Our ongoing research suggests that achieving “dopamine homeostasis” by precision-guided dNA testing and pro-dopamine modulation could result in improved therapeutic outcomes.
