Rational design of efficient and robust earth-abundant alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalysts is a key factor for developing energy conversion ***,antiperovskite nitride CuNMn_(3)has garnered significant interest due to its rema.kable properties such as negative/zero therma. expansion and ma.netocaloric ***,when utilized as hydrogen evolution catalysts,it encounters large challenge resulting from excessively strong/weak interactions with adsorbed H on Mn/Cu active sites,which leads to low HER *** this study,we introduce an asymmetric orbital hybridization strategy in Zn-doped Cu_(1-x)Zn_(x)NMn_(3)by leveraging the localization of Zn electronic states to reconfigure the electronic structures of Cu and Mn,thereby reducing the energy barrier for water dissociation and optimizing Cu and Mn active sites for hydrogen adsorption and H_(2)*** evaluations reveal that Cu_(0.85)Zn_(0.15)NMn_(3)with x=0.15 demonstrates exceptional electrocatalytic activity in alkaline electrolytes.A low overpotential of 52 mV at 10 ma.cm^(-2)and outstanding stability over a 150-h test period are achieved,surpassing commercial Pt/*** research offers a novel strategy for enhancing HER performa.ce by modulating asymmetric hybridization of electron orbitals between multiple metal atoms within a ma.erial structure.

This paper focuses on the finite-time control(FTC) of the composite forma.ion consensus(CFC)problems for multi-robot systems(MRSs). The CFC problems are firstly proposed for MRSs under the complex network topology of cooperative or cooperative-competitive networks. Regarding the problems of FTC and CFC on multiple Lagrange systems(MLSs), coupled sliding variables are introduced to deal with the robustness and consistent convergence. Then, the adaptive finite-time protocols are given based on the displacement approaches. With the premised FTC, tender-tracking methods are further developed for the problems of tracking informa.ion disparity. Stability analyses of those MLSs mentioned above are clarified with Lyapunov candidates considering the coupled sliding vectors, which provide new verification for tender-tracking systems. Under the given coupled-sliding-variable-based finite-time protocols, MLSs distributively adjust the local forma.ion error to achieve global CFC and perform uniform convergence in time-varying tracking. Finally, simulation experiments are conducted while providing practical solutions for the theoretical results.

The vacuole is a unique plant organelle that plays an important role in ma.ntaining cellular homeostasis under various environmental stress conditions. However, the effects of biotic stress on vacuole structure has not been examined using three-dimensional(3D) visualization. Here, we performed 3D electron tomography to compare the ultrastructural changes in the vacuole during infection with different viruses. The 3D models revealed that vacuoles are remodeled in cells infected with cucumber mosaic virus(CMV) or tobacco necrosis virus A Chinese isolate(TNV-AC), resulting in the forma.ion of spherules at the periphery of the vacuole. These spherules contain neck-like channels that connect their interior with the cytosol. Confocal microscopy of CMV replication proteins 1 a and 2 a and TNV-AC auxiliary replication protein p23 showed that all of these proteins localize to the *** microscopy revealed that the expression of these replication proteins alone is sufficient to induce spherule forma.ion on the tonoplast, suggesting that these proteins play prominent roles in inducing vacuolar membrane remodeling. This is the first report of the 3D structures of viral replication factories built on the tonoplasts. These findings contribute to our understanding of vacuole biogenesis under norma. conditions and during assembly of plant(+) RNA virus replication complexes.

Despite enormous efforts to achieve the goal of eliminating mother-to-child transmission of HIV-1, it rema.ns a ma.or challenge for ma.y countries in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly ma.i. Our objective is to assess changes in the rate of mother-to-child transmission of HIV-1. We conducted a cross-sectional study between January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2018 (10 years) of early diagnosis activity in newborns and children born to HIV-1-positive mothers at the National Institute for Public Health (INSP). The samples came from health and referral centers in ma.i. All samples were received at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the INSP. Proviral DNA extraction was performed from a blood spot sample with a Roche DNA kit, Cobas AmpliPrep/Cobas Taqma. HIV-1 qualitative Test, V2.0 (Roche Molecular System, Inc, USA) following the company procedures. Molecular diagnosis was performed using the same kits using an algorithm of three identical PCRs. The Epi Info version 7 software was used for data analysis with a significance threshold of 5%. A total of 10,714 samples of infants and children born to HIV-positive mothers were analyzed by PCR. Ninety-six percent of mothers were on ARV prophylaxis (AZT 3TC NVP and AZT NVP) and 60% of newborns received the same ARV prophylaxis. Of these children, 956 tested positive with an overall transmission rate of 8.92%, varying between 7.27% in 2009 and 08.01% in 2018. This rate was relatively low among children receiving prophylaxis at 2.04% and rema.ned high for children who received breastfeeding at 5.62%. However, the transmission rate rema.ns low for those who have benefited from mixed and artificial breastfeeding at 1.58% and 1.27% respectively. A significant proportion of children rema.ned infected by their mothers during pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding. This study shows the importance of early diagnosis of HIV in children using molecular technology.

Photonics integration of an optoelectronic oscillator(OEO)on a chip is attractive for fabricating low cost,compact,low power consumption,and highly reliable microwave sources,which has been demonstrated recently in silicon on insulator(SOI)and indium phosphide(InP)platforms at X-band around 8 *** we demonstrate the first integration of OEOs on the thin film lithium niobate(TFLN)platform,which has the advantages of lower Vπ,no chirp,wider frequency range,and less sensitivity to *** have successfully realized two different OEOs operating at ka-band,with phase noises even lower than those of the X-band OEOs on SOI and InP *** is a fixed frequency OEO at 30 GHz realized by integrating a ma.h–Zehnder modulator(MZM)with an add-drop microring resonator(MRR),and the other is a tunable frequency OEO at 20–35 GHz realized by integrating a phase modulator(PM)with a notch *** work ma.ks the first step of using TFLN to fabricate integrated OEOs with high frequency,sma.l size,low cost,wide range tunability,and potentially low phase noise.
