Based on observed meteorological elements,photolysis rates(J-values)and pollutant concentrations,an automated J-values predicting system by machine learning(J-ML)has been developed to reproduce and predict the J-values of O^(1)D,NO_(2),HONO,H_(2)O_(2),HCHO,and NO_(3),which are the crucial values for the prediction of the atmospheric oxidation capacity(AOC)and secondary pollutant concentrations such as ozone(O_(3)),secondary organic aerosols(SOA).The J-ML can self-select the optimal“Model+Hyperparameters”without human *** evaluated results showed that the J-ML had a good performance to reproduce the J-values wheremost of the correlation(R)coefficients exceed 0.93 and the accuracy(P)values are in the range of 0.68-0.83,comparing with the J-values from observations and from the tropospheric ultraviolet and visible(TUV)radiation model in Beijing,Chengdu,Guangzhou and Shanghai,*** hourly prediction was also well performed with R from 0.78 to 0.81 for next 3-days and from 0.69 to 0.71 for next 7-days,*** with O_(3)concentrations by using J-values from the TUV model,an emission-driven observation-based model(e-OBM)by using the J-values from the J-ML showed a 4%-12%increase in R and 4%-30%decrease in ME,indicating that the J-ML could be used as an excellent supplement to traditional numerical *** feature importance analysis concluded that the key influential parameter was the surface solar downwards radiation for all J-values,and the other dominant factors for all J-values were 2-m mean temperature,O_(3),total cloud cover,boundary layer height,relative humidity and surface pressure.

BACKGROUND The benefits of healthy lifestyles are well recognized. However, the extent to which improving unhealthy lifestyles reduces cardiovascular disease(CVD) risk needs to be discussed. We evaluated the impact of lifestyle improvement on CVD incidence using data from the China-PAR project(Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China).METHODS A total of 12,588 participants free of CVD were followed up for three visits after the baseline examination. Changes in four lifestyle factors(LFs)(smoking, diet, physical activity, and alcohol consumption) were assessed through questionnaires from the baseline to the first follow-up visit. Cox proportional hazard models were used to estimate hazard ratios(HRs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals(CIs). The risk advancement periods(RAPs: the age difference between exposed and unexposed participants reaching the same incident CVD risk) and population-attributable risk percentage(PAR%) were also *** A total of 909 incident CVD cases occurred over a median follow-up of 11.14 years. Compared with maintaining 0-1healthy LFs, maintaining 3–4 healthy LFs was associated with a 40% risk reduction of incident CVD(HR = 0.60, 95% CI: 0.45–0.79)and delayed CVD risk by 6.31 years(RAP:-6.31 [-9.92,-2.70] years). The PAR% of maintaining 3–4 unhealthy LFs was 22.0%compared to maintaining 0-1 unhealthy LFs. Besides, compared with maintaining two healthy LFs, improving healthy LFs from 2to 3–4 was associated with a 23% lower risk of CVD(HR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.60–0.98).CONCLUSIONS Long-term sustenance of healthy lifestyles or improving unhealthy lifestyles can reduce and delay CVD risk.

OBJECTIVES Moderate to vigorous physical activity is recommended to prevent hypertension according to the current ***,the degree to which the total physical activity(TPA)and its changes benefit normotensives and hypertensives is *** aimed to examine the effects of TPA and its changes on the incidence,progression,and remission of hypertension in the large-scale prospective *** A total of 73,077 participants(55,101 normotensives and 17,976 hypertensives)were eligible for TPA *** a mean follow-up of 7.16 years(394,038 person-years),12,211 hypertension cases were *** was estimated as metabolic equivalents and categorized into *** proportional hazards regression and multivariable logistic regression were used to estimate associations of TPA and changes in TPA with incident hypertension and progression/remission of *** Compared with the lowest quartile of TPA,normotensives at the third and the highest quartile had a decreased risk of incident hypertension,with hazard ratios(HRs)of 0.86[95%confidence interval(CI):0.81−0.91]and 0.81(95%CI:0.77−0.86),*** at the highest quartile of TPA demonstrated a decreased risk of progression of hypertension[odds ratio(OR)=0.87,95%CI:0.79−0.95],and an increased probability of hypertension remission(OR=1.17,95%CI:1.05−1.29).Moreover,getting active from a sedentary lifestyle during the follow-up period could reduce 25%(HR=0.75,95%CI:0.58−0.96)risk of incident hypertension,whereas those becoming sedentary did not achieve benefit from initially being *** Our findings indicated that increasing and maintaining TPA levels could benefit normotensives,whereas higher TPA levels were needed to effectively control progression and improve remission of *** activity played undoubtedly an essential role in both primary and secondary prevention of hypertension.

Liver transplantation is hindered by organ shortage. The potential way to relieve this issue is to expand the donor pool via extending the donor criteria and make full use of all available grafts. The concept of “no-donor” liver transplantation allows grafts to be recovered from other liver recipients. This review summarizes the current clinical practice of “no-donor” liver transplantation, focusing on the experiences of Chinese transplant teams. Domino liver transplantation was introduced by Furtado in 1995 and implemented later in 2013 in China, and novel donor indications including some essential-to-treat inherited metabolic liver-based diseases have emerged. The concept of cross-auxiliary domino liver transplantation brings a further expansion of the domino liver graft pool, and the first pair of liver transplantation performed “rigorously without donation” was accomplished in our center in 2018. Our experience with this original transplantation procedure is hereby reviewed. In order to further promote and make successful “no-donor” liver transplantation, close co-operation between researchers, surgeons, physicians, organ procurement organizations, as well as ethical committees is required.
