Harmfulness of Leaf Miners （Agromyzidae） on Winter Wheat Plantations in Poland

The aim of the study was to determine the harmfulness of leaf miners and their species composition on winter wheat for the improvement of methods to control them. In order to determine the dates of the treatments, it was necessary to catch adult flies. The researchers used yellow 25 x 40 cm sticky traps placed on three control plots to catch the adults. Monitoring of cereal leaf miners flights in winter wheat was carried out in Babor6wko （greater Poland voivodeship）. Yellow traps were placed above the tops of wheat during vegetation period. The number of damaged wheat stems was recorded. Fluctuations in weather conditions during the research affected the dynamics of leaf miner flies considerably. The maximum flights of leaf miner flies on winter wheat crops in years of the studies took place in May. The dynamics of leaf miners flights were different in growing season 2008 and 2009. The most common species were： Chromatomyia nigra （Ztt.）, Chromatomyia fuscula （Ztt.） and Poemyza superciliosa （Ztt.）. It was also discovered that the species composition of Agromyzidae damaging the winter wheat, changes in particular years. The results differ from the results of the previous research, which the dominant species were Phytomyza nigra （Mg.） and Agromyza ambiqua （FII.）.

The paper deals with China’s involvement in the process of international environmental protection. The cooperation between China and international environmental organizations is analyzed. This article stresses on such issues as China’s cooperation with United Nations Environment Program, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, Association of Southeast Asian Nations, China-Europe and China-Africa Cooperation. The key spheres of China’s activity in international environmental protection are examined in this paper. Thus, Chinese government attaches great importance to environmental protection and believes that environmental protection will have a direct impact on the overall situation of China’s modernization drive and its long-term development. While promoting economic growth, it has adopted a wide range of measures to strengthen environmental protection.

In this work,polymeric and bioactive glass(BG)-modified composite films were successfully loaded with polyphenols(PPh)extracted from *** was hypothesized that PPh,alone and in combination with BGs particles,would affect physicochemical and biological properties of the ***,sol-gel-derived BG particles would serve as an agent for control the release of the polyphenolic compounds,and other important properties related to the presence of *** results showed that polyphenolic compounds significantly modified numerous material properties and also acted as biologically active *** the one hand,PPh can be considered as plasticizers for PCL,on the other hand,they can act as coupling agent in composite materials,improving their mechanical *** presence of PPh in materials improved their hydrophilicity and apatite-forming ability,and also provided antioxidant *** is important is that the aforementioned properties and kinetics of PPh release can be modulated by the use of various concentrations of PPh,and by the modification of PCL matrix with sol-gel-derived BG particles,capable of binding *** films containing the lowest concentration of PPh exhibited cytocompatibility,significantly increased alkaline phosphatase activity and the expression of bone extracellular matrix proteins(osteocalcin and osteopontin)in human normal osteoblasts,while they reduced intracellular reactive oxygen species production in ***,materials loaded with PPh showed antibiofilm properties against Gram positive and Gram negative *** results suggest that obtained materials represent potential multifunctional biomaterials for bone tissue engineering with a wide range of tunable properties.

Nowadays pollution from ships in ports/terminals of the Caspian Sea has a significant impact on surrounding nature and health. And the Kazakh oil company “Tengizchevroil” is about to realize a new big business project in terms of water area, which might lead to increased pollution. So, this research specifically concentrates on the reduction of environmental pollution problems at the new Terminal of Cargo Offloading Facility and Cargo Transportation Route of the North Caspian Sea. In order to reach this motive, the authors analyze IMO’s International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution and its initial strategy on reduction of GHG emissions from ships. In addition, efficiency of shore power supply, which is often used by developed countries for better environmental conditions for the port area, is also examined. Overall, the authors outline six proposals as to the best course of action, which needs to be implemented at the new Tengizchevroil terminal. The items such as calculation of damage and calculation of prices of pollution prevention measures will not be included in the research.

AIMTo evaluate whether repeated serum measurements of trefoil factor-3 (TFF-3) can reliably reflect mucosal healing (MH) in Crohn’s disease (CD) patients treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor-α (anti-TNF-α) *** TFF-3 was measured before and after anti-TNF-α induction therapy in 30 CD patients. The results were related to clinical, biochemical and endoscopic parameters. MH was defined as a ≥ 50% decrease in Simple Endoscopic Score for Crohn’s disease (SES-CD).RESULTSSES-CD correlated significantly with CD clinical activity and several standard biochemical parameters (albumin, leukocyte and platelet counts, C-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, fibrinogen). In contrast, SES-CD did not correlate with TFF-3 (P = 0.54). Moreover, TFF-3 levels did not change significantly after therapy irrespectively of whether the patients achieved MH or not. Likewise, TFF-3 did not correlate with changes in fecal calprotectin, which has been proposed as another biochemical marker of mucosal damage in *** TFF-3 is not a convenient and reliable surrogate marker of MH during therapy with TNF-α antagonists in CD.

近五年来,在人力资源管理领域的文献中,许多研究已经证明了工作重塑对员工留任水平的影响作用。此外,人力资源和组织行为学将关注点聚焦在员工的社会和心理健康的研究。鉴于这些学科今年的关注点,本就旨在探索工作重塑和情绪耗竭对工作满意度的影响作用,以及情绪耗竭对工作重塑和工作满意度的影响。哈萨克斯坦的零售营销部门被认为是世界上最强大的销售部门之一,该研究以这一部门为主要研究对象。将工作和策略的重塑融入工作流程使得零售业得到快速发展。该研究采用调查问卷收集数据,通过验证性因子分析和结构方程模型进行数据分析,结果表明工作重塑对员工工作满意度有显著的积极的影响,而情绪疲劳对工作满意度有显著的负面影响。情绪疲劳在工作重塑和工作满意度之间起中介作用。该研究还具有一定理论意义和实践意义。

Health Risk Impacts of Exposure to Airborne Metals and Benzo(a)Pyrene during Episodes of High PM10 Concentrations in Poland

Objective To check whether health risk impacts of exposure to airborne metals and Benzo（a） Pyrene during episodes of high PM10 concentrations lead to an increased number of lung cancer cases in Poland. Methods In this work, we gathered data from 2002 to 2014 concerning the ambient concentrations of PM10 and PM10-bound carcinogenic Benzo（a）pyrene [B（a）P] and As, Cd, Pb, and Ni. With the use of the criterion of the exceedance in the daily PM10 mass concentration on at least 50% of all the analyzed stations, the PM10 maxima’s were selected. Lung cancer occurrences in periods with and without the episodes were further compared. Results During a 12-year period, 348 large-scale smog episodes occurred in Poland. A total of 307 of these episodes occurred in the winter season, which is characterized by increased emissions from residential heating. The occurrence of episodes significantly （P 〈 0.05） increased the concentrations of PM10-bound carcinogenic As, Cd, Pb, Ni, and B（a）P. During these events, a significant increase in the overall health risk from those PM10-related compounds was also observed. The highest probability of lung cancer occurrences was found in cities, and the smallest probability was found in the remaining areas outside the cities and agglomerations. Conclusion The link between PM pollution and cancer risk in Poland is a serious public health threat that needs further investigation.

Magnesium is attractive for the application as a temporary bone implant due to its inherent biodegradability,non-toxicity and suitable mechanical *** degradation process of magnesium in physiological environments is complex and is thought to be a diffusion-limited transport *** use a multi-scale imaging approach using micro computed tomography and transmission X-ray microscopy(TXM)at resolutions below 40 ***,we are able to evaluate the nanoporosity of the degradation layer and infer its impact on the degradation process of pure magnesium in two physiological *** samples were degraded in simulated body fluid(SBF)or Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium(DMEM)with 10%fetal bovine serum(FBS)for one to four *** reveals the three-dimensional interconnected pore network within the degradation layer for both *** pore network morphology and degradation layer composition are similar for all *** contrast,the degradation layer thickness in samples degraded in SBF was significantly higher and more inhomogeneous than in DMEM+10%*** features could be observed within the degradation layer of samples degraded in SBF,suggesting the formation of microgalvanic cells,which are not present in samples degraded in DMEM+10%*** results suggest that the nanoporosity of the degradation layer and the resulting ion diffusion processes therein have a limited influence on the overall degradation *** indicates that the influence of organic components on the dampening of the degradation rate by the suppression of microgalvanic degradation is much greater in the present study.
