On Isomorphism Testing of Groups with normal Hall Subgroups

A normal Hall subgroup n of a group G is a normal subgroup with its order coprime with its index. Schur- Zassenhaus theorem states that every normal Hall subgroup has a complem.nt subgroup, that is a set of coset representatives H which also forms a subgroup of G. In this paper, we present a framework to test isomorphism of groups with at least one normal Hall subgroup, when groups are given as multiplication tables. To establish the framework, we first observe that a proof of Schur-Zassenhaus theorem is constructive, and formulate a necessary and sufficient condition for testing isomorphism in terms of the associated actions of the semidirect products, and isomorphisms of the normal parts and complem.nt parts. We then focus on the case when the normal subgroup is abelian. Utilizing basic facts of representation theory of finite groups and a technique by Le Gall （STACS 2009）, we first get an efficient isomorphism testing algorithm when the complem.nt has bounded number of generators. For the case when the complem.nt subgroup is elem.ntary abelian, which does not necessarily have bounded number of generators, we obtain a polynomial time isomorphism testing algorithm by reducing to generalized code isomorphism problem, which asks whether two linear subspaces are the same up to permutation of coordinates. A solution to the latter can be obtained by a mild extension of the singly exponential （in the number of coordinates） time algorithm for code isomorphism problem developed recently by Babai et al. （SODA 2011）. Enroute to obtaining the above reduction, we study the following computational problem in representation theory of finite groups： given two representations ρandτ- of a group H over Zp^d, a prime, determ.ne if there exists an automorphism ： ФH→ H, such that the induced representation p Ф= ρ o Ф and τ are equivalent, in time poly（｜H｜, p^d）.

Effect of heat treatm.nt on microstructural evolution,mechanical properties and tribological properties of H13 steel prepared using selective laser melting

Without intervention,a considerable proportion of patients with metabolism‐associated fatty liver disease(mAFLD)will progress from simple steatosis to metabolism‐associated steatohepatitis(mASH),liver fibrosis,and even hepatocellular ***,the molecular mechanisms that control progressive mAFLD have yet to be fully ***,we unraveled that the expression of the n6-methyladenosine(m6A)methyltransferase mETTL14 is remarkably downregulated in the livers of both patients and several murine models of mAFLD,whereas hepatocyte-specific depletion of this methyltransferase aggravated lipid accumulation,liver injury,and ***,hepatic mettl14 overexpression alleviated the above pathophysiological changes in mice fed on a high-fat diet(HFD).notably,in vivo and in vitro mechanistic studies indicated that mETTL14 downregulation decreased the level of GLS2 by affecting the translation efficiency mediated by YTHDF1 in an m6A-depedent m.nner,which might help to form an oxidative stress microenvironm.nt and accordingly recruit Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)m.nocyte-derived macrophages(mo-macs).In detail,Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)mo-macs can be categorized into m1-like macrophages and S100A4-positive macrophages and then further activate hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)to promote liver *** experim.nts revealed that CX3CR1 can activate the transcription of S100A4 via CX3CR1/myD88/nF-κB signaling pathway in Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)*** of mETTL14 or GLS2,or interfering with this signal transduction pathway such as inhibiting myD88 could ameliorate liver injuries and *** together,these findings indicate potential therapies for the treatm.nt of mAFLD progression.
