This paper proposes a dynamic RWA scheme using fuzzy logic control on IP/GMPLS over WDM networks to achieve the best quality of network transmission. The proposed algorithm dynamically allocates network resources and reserves partial bandwidth based on the current network status, which includes the request bandwidth, average utilization for each wavelength and its coefficient of variance （c.V.） of data traffic, to determine whether the connection can be set tip. Five fuzzy sets for request bandwidth, average rate and c.V. of data traffic are used to divide the variable space： very large （LP）, large （SP）, normal （ZE）, small （SN）, and very small （LN）. Setting the fuzzy limit is a key part in the proposed algorithm. The simulation of scenarios in this paper has two steps. In the first step, the adaptive fuzzy limits are evaluated based on average transmission cost pertaining to ten network statuses. The second step is to compare the proposed algorithm with periodic measurement of traffic （PMT） in ATM networks in six network situations to show that the proposed Fc-RWA algorithm can provide better network transmission.

The intergranular microcracking in polycrystalline Ni-rich cathode particle is led by anisotropic volume change and stress corrosion along grain boundary,accelerating battery performance ***,we have suggested a simple but advanced solid-state method that ensures both uniform transition metal distribution and single-crystalline morphology for Ni-rich cathode synthesis without sophisticated ***-assisted mechanical densification(PAMD)process on solid-state precursor mixture enables the dynamic mass transfer through the increased solid-solid contact area which facilitates the grain growth during sintering process,readily forming micro-sized single-crystalline ***,the improved chemical reactivity by a combination of capillary effect and vacancyassisted diffusion provides homogeneous element distribution within each primary *** a result,single-crystalline Ni-rich cathode with PAMD process has eliminated a potential evolution of intergranular cracking,thus achieving superior energy retention capability of 85%over 150 cycles compared to polycrystalline Ni-rich particle even after high-pressure calendering process(corresponding to electrode density of~3.6 g cm^(-3))and high cut-off voltage *** work provides a concrete perspective on developing facile synthetic route of micron-sized single-crystalline Ni-rich cathode materials for high energy density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).

A factor analysis was applied to soil geochemical data to define anomalies related to buried Pb-Zn mineralization.A favorable main factor with a strong association of the elements Zn,cu and Pb,related to mineralization,was selected for *** median+2 MAD(median absolute deviation)method of exploratory data analysis(EDA)and c-A(concentration-area)fractal modeling were then applied to the Mahalanobis distance,as defined by Zn,cu and Pb from the factor analysis to set the thresholds for defining multi-element *** a result,the median+2 MAD method more successfully identified the Pb-Zn mineralization than the c-A fractal *** soil anomaly identified by the median+2 MAD method on the Mahalanobis distances defined by three principal elements(Zn,cu and Pb)rather than thirteen elements(co,Zn,cu,V,Mo,Ni,cr,Mn,Pb,Ba,Sr,Zr and Ti)was the more favorable reflection of the ore *** identified soil geochemical anomalies were compared with the in situ economic Pb-Zn ore bodies for *** results showed that the median+2 MAD approach is capable of mapping both strong and weak geochemical anomalies related to buried Pb-Zn mineralization,which is therefore useful at the reconnaissance drilling stage.

Background:Emerging evidence suggests that body weight misperception may be associated with psychological distress among people in developed *** in physical activity(PA)may negate the association between weight misperception and psychological distress given the well-known benefits of PA on psychological *** study examined the role of PA in associations between body weight misperception and psychological distress among young South korean ***:Data from individuals aged 20 to 39 years who participated in the Fifth korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys 2010-2012(N=6055)was included in the logistic ***:The proportions of the respondents under-and over-perceiving their body weight were 66.9%and 0.8%among men and 16.3%and 15.6%among women respectively.A moderating effect of PA participation was observed on the relationship between body weight over-perception and depressed mood(Odds Ratio[OR]=0.55;95%confidence Intervals[95%cI]=0.34,0.89).Among individuals who did not meet the recommended vigorous-intensity PA(≥20 min/session and≥3 day/week),body weight over-perception was associated with depressed mood(OR=1.71,95%cI=1.19,2.46)compared to the accurate-perception ***,no association was observed among those who met the recommended vigorous-intensity PA(OR=1.52,95%cI=0.45,5.22).Similar patterns were found among physically active versus inactive individuals(recommended walking not met:OR=2.02,95%cI=1.29,3.15;recommended walking met:OR=1.28,95%cI=0.66,2.49;muscular strengthening exercises fork:OR=1.74,95%cI=1.21,2.51;muscular strengthening exercises for≥2 day/week:OR=1.38,95%cI=0.37,5.14).No relationship existed between body weight over-perception and depressed mood after adjusting for ***:Participating in regular PA may buffer a potential negative impact of body weight over-perception on depressive mood.

A one-step method was developed to create a highly biocompatible micropatterned surface on a diamond-like carbon(DLc)through irradiation with a nitrogen ion beam and thus enhance the biocompatibility of osseointegrated surfaces and biotribological performance of articular *** biocompatibility and biotribological mechanisms were analyzed in terms of the structure and morphology of *** was demonstrated that a layer enriched in sp^(3) c-N bonds was formed on the surface of the DLc after nitrogen ion beam ***,with an increase in the radiation dose,the content of sp^(3) c-N on the DLc surface increased significantly,and the biocompatibility was positively correlated with *** adhesion of the Mc3T3 osteoblasts increased significantly from 32%to 86%under an irradiation dose of 8×10^(15) ions/cm^(2).In contrast,the micropattern had a significant negative effect on the adhesion of the osteoblasts as it physically hindered cell expansion and *** micropattern with a depth of 37 nm exhibited good friction properties,and the coefficient of friction was reduced by 21%at relatively high speeds.

The drought-escape response accelerates flowering in response to drought stress, allowing plants to adaptively shorten their life cycles. Abscisic acid (ABA) mediates plant responses to drought, but the role of ABA-responsive element (ABRE)-binding factors (ABFs) in the drought-escape response is poorly understood. Here, we show that Arabidopsis thaliana ABF3 and ABF4 regulate flowering in response to drought through transcriptional regulation of the floral integrator SUPPRESSOR OF OVEREXPRESSION OF cONSTANS1 (SOc1). The abf3 abf4 mutant displayed ABA-insensitive late flowering under long-day conditions. Ectopic expression of ABF3 or ABF4 in the vasculature, but not in the shoot apex, induced early flowering, whereas expression of ABF3 fused with the SRDX transcript!onal repressor domain delayed flowering. We identified SOc1 as a direct downstream target of ABF3/4, and found that SOc1 mRNA levels were lower in abf3 abf4 than in wild-type plants. Moreover, induction of SOc1 by ABA was hampered in abf3 abf4 mutants. ABF3 and ABF4 were enriched at the -1028- to -657-bp region of the SOc1 promoter, which does not contain canonical ABF-ABRE-binding motifs but has the NF-Y binding element. We found that ABF3 and ABF4 interact with nuclear factor Y subunit c (NF-Yc) 3/4/9 in vitro and in planta, and induction of SOc1 by ABA was hampered in nf-yc3 yc4 yc9 mutants. Interestingly, the abf3 abf4, nf-yc3 yc4 yc9, and sod mutants displayed a reduced drought-escape response. Taken together, these results suggest that ABF3 and ABF4 act with NF-Ycs to promote flowering by inducing SOc1 transcription under drought conditions . This mechanism might contribute to adaptation by enabling plants to complete their life cycles under drought stress.

Isotope Geochemistry of Volcanic Rocks from the Barton Peninsula,king George Island,Antarctica

c, O, H, S and Sr isotopes were investigated to characterize the isotopic composition of the Paleocene-Eocene volcanic rocks in Barton Peninsula, king George Island, Antarctica. The analyzed samples of volcanic rocks cover a range from basalt to andesite. The δ 13c and 61SO values of calcite in volcanic rocks range from -7.5‰ to -3.2‰ and 0.4‰ to 5.1‰, respectively. The homogenous δ 13c cal and depleted δ18 ccal values relative to primary magmatic values reflect the effect of high temperature alteration of volcanic rocks. The δ18 O of volcanic rocks ranges from -1.1‰ to 7.2‰, and the majority of values are significantly lower than those of primary magmatic values. The low δ18 O WR values are compatible with high temperature alteration. The initial values of 87Sr/86Sr of volcanic rocks span a narrow range from 0.703 312 to 0.703 504 which belong to the present mid-oceanic ridge basalt. The values of 87Sr/86Sr of volcanics in the Barton Peninsula are similar to those determined in the Fildes Peninsula, king George Island. The δD WR and H2O contents of volcanic rocks range from -74‰ to -66‰ and 0.67 wt.% to 2.74 wt.%, respectively. The higher δD WR and H2O wt.% of volcanic rocks relative to fresh basalts also result from high temperature alteration. Sulfur isotope compositions of the volcanic rocks range from -12.5‰ to -7.0‰; these values may represent fractionation accompanying partial oxidation of magmatic S or incorporation of some bacteriogenic sulfide. The low S contents and negative correlation with c and H2O reflect the formation of calcite and breakdown of sulfide as a result of high temperature water-rock interaction.
