BAckGROUND Transfusion transmissible infections(TTIs)are illnesses spread through contaminated blood or blood *** India,screening for TTIs such as hepatitis B virus(HBV),hepatitis c virus(HcV),human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-I/II,malaria,and syphilis is mandatory before blood ***,HcV,HBV,and HIV are the leading viruses causing mortality,affecting millions of people globally,including those with co-infections of HIV/HcV and HIV/*** highlight the impact of TTIs on life expectancy and health risks,such as liver cirrhosis,cancer,and other diseases in individuals with chronic ***,millions of blood donations take place annually,emphasizing the importance of maintaining blood *** To study the prevalence of TTIs,viz.,HBV,HcV,HIV I/II,syphilis,and malaria parasite(MP),among different blood donor *** The study assessed the prevalence of TTIs among different blood donor groups in Delhi,*** included total donors,in-house donors,total camp donors,institutional camp donors,and community camp *** for HIV,HBV,and HcV were done using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,while syphilis was tested with rapid plasma reagins and MP rapid card *** prevalence of HBV,HcV,HIV,and syphilis,expressed as *** in infection rates between the groups were analyzed usingχ²tests and P-values(less than 0.05).RESULTS The study evaluated TTIs among 42158 blood donors in *** overall cumulative frequency of TTIs in total blood donors was 2.071%,and the frequencies of HBV,HcV,HIV-I/II,venereal disease research laboratory,and MP were 1.048%,0.425%,0.221%,0.377%,and 0.0024%,***-house donors,representing 37656 donors,had the highest transfusion transmissible infection(TTI)prevalence at 2.167%.Among total camp donors(4502 donors),TTIs were identified in 1.266%of donors,while community camp donors(2439 donors)exhibited a prevalence of 1.558%.Institutional camp donors(2063 donors)had the l

AIM： To investigate the presence of Helicobacter species by nested PcR of 16S rRNA genes followed by the presence of Flelicobacter pylori （H pylori） 16S rRNA, ureA, cagA genes in bile obtained at endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography （ERcP） from 60 Indian subjects. METHODS： Sixty bile samples were obtained from patients diagnosed with various hepato-biliary diseases and control subjects at ERcP. PcR analysis was carried out using primers for Helicobacter genus 16S rRNA gene and H pylori （16S rRNA, urea and cagA） genes. Gastric H pylori status was also assessed from biopsies obtained at endoscopy from patients with various hepatobiliary diseases and controls. The control group mainly consisted of subjects with gastric disorders. Sequencing analysis was performed to confirm that PcR products with 16S rRNA and cagA primers were derived from H pylori. RESULTS No Helicobacters were grown in culture from the bile samples. Helicobacter DNA was detected in bile of 96.7% and 6.6% of groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ respectively. Ten from group Ⅰ were positive for 16S rRNA and ureA and 9 were positive for cagA gene. In contrast of the 2 from the control, 1 amplified with 16S rRNA, ureA and cagA primers used. The sequences of the 16S rRNA genes and cagA were 99% similar to Helicobacter pylori. cONcLUSION： Helicobacters are associated with the pathogenesis of various hepato-biliary disorders.

Oldest rocks are sparsely distributed within the Dharwar craton and little is known about their involvement in the sedimentary sequences which are present in the Archean greenstone successions and the Proterozoic cuddapah *** carbonates are well preserved in the Neoarchean greenstone belts of Dharwar craton and cuddapah Basin of Peninsular India displaying varied morphological and geochemical *** this study,we report results from U-Pb geochronology and trace element composition of the detrital zircons from stromatolitic carbonates present within the Dharwar craton and cuddapah basin to understand the provenance and time of accretion and *** UPb ages of the detrital zircons from the Bhimasamudra and Marikanve stromatolites of the chitradurga greenstone belt of Dharwar craton display ages of 3426±26 Ma to 2650±38 Ma whereas the Sandur stromatolites gave an age of 3508±29 Ma to 2926±36 Ma suggesting Paleo-to Neoarchean *** U-Pb detrital zircons of the Tadpatri stromatolites gave an age of 2761±31 Ma to1672±38 Ma suggesting Neoarchean to Mesoproterozoic *** Rare Earth Element(REE)patterns of the studied detrital zircons from Archean Dharwar craton and Proterozoic cuddapah basin display depletion in light rare earth elements(LREE)and enrichment in heavy rare earth elements(HREE)with pronounced positive ce and negative Eu anomalies,typical of magmatic *** trace element composition and their relationship collectively indicate a mixed granitoid and mafic source for both the Dharwar and cuddapah *** 3508±29 Ma age of the detrital zircons support the existence of 3.5 Ga crust in the Western Dharwar *** overall detrital zircon ages(3.5-2.7 Ga)obtained from the stromatolitic carbonates of Archean greenstone belts and Proterozoic cuddapah basin(2.7-1.6 Ga)collectively reflect on^800-900 Ma duration for the Precambrian stromatolite deposition in the Dharwar craton.

Two-dimensional(2D)semiconducting materials and transition-metal oxides are promising materials for nonvolatile memory and brain-inspired neuromorphic computing ***,it remains chal-lenging to obtain high-quality stacked 2D films with low energy consumptions(or drive currents)be-cause of their high interfacial *** this study,we synthesized 2D Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)MXene-derived three-dimensional(3D)TiO_(2)nanoflowers(NFs)as a feasible resistive switching(RS)material with outstanding electronic properties and synaptic learning *** electrical and optical characteristics of the synthesized material were determined through density functional theory *** measure-ments of the Al/Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)-TiO_(2)NF/Pt memory device indicated the occurrence of forming-free switching phenomena with extremely low switching voltages(0.68-0.53 V),stable ON/OFF ratio(2.3×103),and retention greater than 105 *** Holt-Winters exponential smoothing technique was used for mod-eling and predicting the switching voltages of the RS *** mechanism underlying the reliable RS was confirmed by observing the dense conductive filaments through conductive atomic force ***,the 2D Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)MXene-derived 3D TiO_(2)NF-based RS device mimicked the po-tentiation/depression and spike-time-dependent plasticity of a biological ***,a convolutional neural network was implemented based on the observed synaptic weights of Al/Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)-TiO_(2)NF/Pt for image-edge detection.

Synthesis of N1-3-{（4-substitute daryl-3-chloro-2-oxo-azetidine）-iminocarbamyl}-propyl-6-nitroindazole 4a-- 4s was conducted by a conventional method. All the compounds were synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13c NMR, FAB-Mass techniques and chemical methods. All the final synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial activity and antitubercular activity with MIc values against some selected microorganisms.

Magmatic pulses in intraplate sedimentary basins are windows to understand the tectonomagmatic evolution and paleaoposition of the *** present study reports the U-Pb zircon ages of mafic flows from the cuddapah Basin and link these magmatic events with the Pangean evolution during late carboniferous-Triassic/Phanerozoic *** U-Pb geochronology for the basaltic lava flows from Vempalle Formation,cuddapah Basin suggests two distinct Phanerozoic magmatic events coinciding with the amalgamation and dispersal stages of Pangea at 300 Ma(Late carboniferous)and 227 Ma(Triassic).Further,these flows are characterized by analogous geochemical and geochronological signatures with Phanerozoic counterparts from Siberian,Panjal Traps,Emeishan and Tarim LIPs possibly suggesting their coeval and cogenetic *** the Phanerozoic Eon,the Indian subcontinent including the cuddapah Basin was juxtaposed with the Pangean LIPs which led to the emplacement of these pulses of magmatism in the Basin coinciding with the assemblage of Pangea and its subsequent breakup between 400 Ma and 200 Ma.

conventional and microwave assisted synthesis of new series of N-[2-{2-（substituted phenyl）-4-oxo- 5-（substituted benzylidene）-1,3-thiazolidine}-iminoethyl]-2-aminothiazole 5a-Sin have been developed. The cycloaddition reaction of thioglycolic acid with N-{2-（substituted benzylidenehydrazino）-ethyl}-2-aminothiazole 3a--3m in the presence of anhydrous Znc12 afforded new heterocyclic compounds N-[2-{2-（substituted phenyl）- 4-oxo-l,3-thiazolidine}-iminoethyl]-2-aminothiazole 4a---4m. The later product on treatment with several selected substituted aromatic aldehydes in the presence of c2HsONa undergoes knoevenagel reaction to yield 5a--Sin. The structures of compounds 1, 2, 3a--3m, 4a---4m and 5a--Sm were confirmed by IR, IH NMR, 13c NMR, FAB-Mass and chemical analysis. All above compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activities against some selected bacteria and fungi and antituberculosis study against M. tuberculosis.

Geochemistry and petrogenesis of Rajahmundry trap basalts of krishna-Godavari Basin,India

The Rajahmundry Trap Basalts （RTB） are erupted through fault-controlled fissures in the krishna-Godavari Basin （k-G Basin） of Godavari Triple Junction, occurring as a unique outcrop sandwiched between cretaceous and Tertiary sediments along the east coast of India. Detailed geochemical studies have revealed that RTB are mid-Ti （1.74-1.92） to high-Ti （2.04-2.81） basalts with a distinct quartz tholeiitic parentage. MgO （6.2-13.12 wt.%）, Mg# （29-50） and Zr （109-202 ppm） suggest that these basalts evolved by fractional crystallization during the ascent of the parent magma along deep-seated fractures. Mod- erate to high fractionation of HREE, as indicated by （Gd/Yb）N ratios （1.71-2.31） of RTB, suggest their generation through 3-5% melting of a Fe-rich mantle corresponding to the stability fields of spinel and garnet peridotite at depths of 60-100 km. Low k2O/P2O5 （0.26-1.26）, high TiO2/P2O5 （6.74-16.79）, La/Nb （0.89-1.45）, Nb/Th 〉 8 （8.35-13）, negative anomalies at Rb reflect minimum contamination by granitic continental crust. （Nb/La）PM ratios （0.66-1.1） of RTB are attributed to endogenic contamination resulted through recycling of subducted oceanic slab into the mantle. Pronounced Ba enrichment with relative depletion in Rb indicates assimilation of Infra- and Inter-trappean sediments of estuarine to shallow marine character. Geochemical compositions such as A1203/TiO2 （3.88-6.83）, medium to high TiO2 （1.74 -2.81 wt.%）, positive Nb anomalies and LREE enrichment of these RTB attest to their mantle plume origin and indicate the generation of parent magma from a plume-related enriched mantle source with EM 1 signature. Ba/Th （46-247）, Ba/La （3.96-28.51） and Th/Nb （0.08-0.13） ratios suggest that the source enrichment process was marked by recycling of subduction-processed oceanic crust and lithospheric components into the mantle. Zr/Hf （37-41） and Zr/Ba （0.51-3.24） indicate involvement of an asthenospheric mantle source. The Rajahmundry basalts show affinity towards FOZO （
