By employing the generalized Riccati transformation technique,we will establish some new oscillation criteria and study the asymptotic behavior of the nonoscillatory solutions of the second-order nonlinear neutral delay dynamic equation [r(t)[y(t)+p(t)y(■(t))]~Δ]~Δ+q(t)f(y((δ(t)))=0 on a time scale■.The results improve some oscillation results for neutral delay dynamic equations and in the special case when■our results cover and improve the oscillation results for second- order neutral delay differential equations established by Li and Liu[***.,48(1996), 871 886].When■,our results cover and improve the oscillation results for second order neutral delay difference equations established by Li and Yeh[***.,36(1998),123-132].When ■ ■our results are essentially *** examples illustrating our main results are given.

Development and Characterization of Elite Doubled Haploid Lines from Two Indica Rice Hybrids

Despite significant yield advantage over inbred rice, the adoption rate of hybrid rice in India is very low due to the high seed cost and poor quality of the produce. To alleviate the problem, we initiated a doubled haploid （DH） breeding approach to develop new lines from two elite indica rice hybrids （CRHR5 and CRHR7） through rapid fixation of homozygosity in the recombinants. In vitro culture of the rice anthers resulted in 243 and 186 fertile DH lines of CRHR5 and CRHR7, respectively. Flow cytometric and pollen fertility analyses confirmed the DH ploidy status of the regenerations. Morpho-agronomic evaluation revealed 100% uniformity and stability for all the characters in the DH lines of both hybrids. Nineteen promising DH lines of each hybrid were advanced to A2 generation for yield evaluation. The yield levels of the DH lines ranged from 5 097-6 965 kg/hm^2 for CRHR5 and 5 141-7 235 kg/hm^2 for CRHR7, which were at par or higher than the parental hybrids. Physico-chemical characterization and cooking quality analyses revealed significant and acceptable values for grain length and width, alkali spreading value, amylose content and water uptake ratio of the selected DH lines. Three DH lines, CR5-10, CR5-49, CR5-61 from CRHR5, and four DH lines, CR7-5, CR7-7, CR7-12 and CR7-52 from CRHR7, showed significant grain yield and quality characteristics and have been recommended for multi-location trials for subsequent release as new indica doubled haploid rice varieties.

A combination of sodium borohydride and a catalytic amount of indium（Ⅲ） chloride in acetonitrile reduces imines formed in-situ from aldehydes and amines to the corresponding functionalised secondary and tertiary amines in moderate to good yields. Noteworthy is that highly chemoselective reactions were achieved in the presence of other functional groups such as halogens, carbon-carbon double bonds and hydroxyl groups.

One of the key challenges in ad-hoc networks is the resource discovery *** efciently&quickly the queried resource/object can be resolved in such a highly dynamic self-evolving network is the underlying question?Broadcasting is a basic technique in the Mobile Ad-hoc Networks(MANETs),and it refers to sending a packet from one node to every other node within the transmission *** is a type of broadcast where the received packet is retransmitted once by every *** naive ooding technique oods the network with query messages,while the random walk scheme operates by contacting subsets of each node’s neighbors at every step,thereby restricting the search *** earlier works have mainly focused on the simulation-based analysis of ooding technique,and its variants,in a wired network ***,there have been some empirical studies in peer-to-peer(P2P)networks,the analytical results are still lacking,especially in the context of mobile P2P *** this article,we mathematically model different widely used existing search techniques,and compare with the proposed improved random walk method,a simple lightweight approach suitable for the non-DHT *** provide analytical expressions to measure the performance of the different ooding-based search techniques,and our proposed *** analytically derive 3 relevant key performance measures,i.e.,the *** of steps needed to nd a resource,the probability of locating a resource,and the *** of messages generated during the entire search process.

Solar insolation driven periodicities in southwest monsoon and its impact on NE Arabian Sea paleoceanography

In the northeastern(NE) Arabian Sea,the fluctuation in terrestrial and freshwater runoff directly depends on southwest monsoon(SWM) precipitation as well as the meltwater flux provided by Indus ***,analysis of multi-proxy spectral signatures was carried out to trace the high-resolution SWM periodicities and their influence on the productivity,regional sea level fluctuations and depositional processes in the NE Arabian *** time series data of stable isotopes of oxygen(δ^18 O(***)).carbon(δ^13 C(***) and δ^13 C(org)) and nitrogen(δ^15 N).Total Organic Carbon(TOC),planktic-benthic foraminiferal ratio(P/B ratio) and>63 μm coarse fraction(CF) were used from two coastal sedimentary cores located offshore Saurashtra,NE Arabian Sea(Core SK-240/485 having 88 m water depth;Core GC/SK-240/496 having 174 m water depth).The REDFIT based spectral analysis recorded significant periodicities(>90% significance) in δ^18 0 time series centered at^1609,~667,~525,~296,~290 and^256 ***,the significant periodicities recorded in carbon isotopes time series(δ^13 C(***) and δ^13 C(org))centered at^681,~512,~471,~452,~438,~360,~292,~275,~269,~245 and^209 *** significant periodicities in TOC include^471 and-322 years whereas δ^15 N time series recorded significant periodicity centered at-360 *** significant periodicities in P/B ratio time series centered at^512,~388,~304,~250,~235,~217,~152,~139 and^135 years while CF recorded^268,~216,~209,~198,~188,~173 and^140 years significant *** observed periodicities in the multi-proxy record consist of similar cycles(within the radiocarbon dating error) which also natch with previously reported solar insolation influenced SWM and other global and regional ***,the stationarity of the data has been verified using wavelet analysis and shows similar periodicities as observed in REDFIT ***,the depositional behaviour was studied using correlation analysis of the common

Purpose-The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new data dissemination model in order to improve the performance of transmission in *** proposes a protocol named Epidemic and Transmission-Segmentbased Geographic Routing(ETSGR)and outlining the issues due to high mobility of nodes and uncertain physical topologies in the *** proposed ETSGR is mainly used to analyze the vehicle state,direction,distance,traffic density and link quality of the ***/methodology/approach-This research work based on ETSGR protocol mainly uses epidemic algorithmin order to find the vehicle state based on susceptible,infected and recovered(SIR)***,the vehicle position and finding the head node in the network is utilized using the transmission segment protocol based on geographic routing and analyses each node to formthe segments and find the destination to transmit the data in timely ***-The paper provides the enhancement of the performance based on some metrics such as end-to-end delaythat obtained 0.62%,data throughput as 32.3%,packetdelivery ratio as 67%and one-hop communicationas 13%.The proposed ETSGR protocolanalyzes the state of the vehiclecorrectly and each node segmented to transmit the data with the timely manner and obtaining reliable performanceeven with highmobility of nodes in the *** limitations/implications-The proposed ETSGR protocol may have some limitation when considering the timing which should improve even in increasing many number of vehicles and different road *** implications-This paper includes some suggestions for the practical deployment of the approach in which a real-time traffic analysis can be evaluated for taking prior actions during an emergency situation and proper dissemination of data in timely manner can help utilize the guidance of proper planning of ***/value-This research fulfills an enhanced protocol to improve the performance of data dissemination.

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)have tremendous applications in almost every walk of life;however,their harmful impacts on humans and the environment are not well *** have been used in various applications ranging from medical science to different engineering branches,to ease human ***,the toxicological profile of CNTs under laboratory conditions cannot be assessed primarily in medical science due to the inconsistent availability of cytotoxic study *** toxicity has been affected by many physicochemical properties(e.g.,size,type of functionalization),concentration,the extent of exposure,mode of exposure,and even the solvents/medium used to dissolve/disperse CNTs for their *** inconsistencies arise due to the variation in synthesis methods as well as the mode of their human *** their unlimited use in various fields,most of CNT toxicity aspects and mechanisms remain ***,in-depth knowledge of CNTs toxicity is scarce,and the available literature shows dissimilarities in experimental data and exposure *** understand the toxicological issues,it is the need of the hour to provide insight into the published data,post-exposure studies,and various factors that may damage the cells due to CNTs *** review article analyses the hazardous potential through toxicological implications and summarizes the detailed mechanism(s)of CNTs studied on the different model organisms,including human cell *** this review article,we hypothesized that thorough knowledge of various aspects,as mentioned above,helps us design and develop possible strategies to reduce the toxicity of nanomaterial to make them safer and secure for humanity’s betterment.

Thermal Comfort Analysis of Personalized Conditioning System and Performance Assessment with Different Radiant Cooling Systems

The radiant systems consume less energy and provide better thermal comfort as compared to the conventional system,but the main drawback of radiant technology is inability to cater the latent load and *** problem has engaged researchers to push their emphasis on Personalized Conditioning System(PCS).It forms a micro-climate region near the *** study is aimed at PCS combined with a radiant conditioning system,which evaluates the performance of the PCS and compares it with different radiant cooling systems.A radiant cubicle was used to investigate the performance of the PCS for both heating&cooling *** heating mode,the Standard Effective Temperature(SET)was calculated with the help of thermal comfort surveys which were in a range of 23.4℃ to 27.3℃.For cooling mode,four different cases compared the performance of the system which are:Conventional Air Conditioning System(CACS),Radiant Cooled Ceiling System(RCCS),Personalized Radiant Conditioning System(PRCS),and both PRCS-RCCS *** was observed that PRCS alone reaches the thermal comfort criteria with low energy *** energy-saving of RCCS-PRCS was achieved 38%when compared with *** can be concluded that PRCS is a new step in the field of thermal comfort.
