A novel method for the determination of two quinolone drugs norfloxacin （NOR） and levofloxacin （LVX） was described by capillary electrophoresis with electrochemiluminescence detection. The good relationship （r ≥ 0.9991） between peak area and concentration of analytes was established over two orders of magnitude. The limits of detection （LOD, S/N = 3） in standard solution are 4.8 × 10^-7 mol/L for NOR and 6.4 × 10^-7 mol/L for LVX, respectively. The limits of quantitation （LOQ, S/N = 10） in real human urine samples are 1.2 × 10^-6 mol/L for NOR and 1.4 × 10^-6 mol/L for LVX, respectively. The present method was successfully applied to the determination of NOR and LVX in human urine and the studv of oharmacokinetics of NOR.

In this work, a metal-organic framework derived nanoporous carbon （MOF-5-C） was fabricated and modified with Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles. The resulting magnetic MOF-5-derived porous carbon （Fe304@MOF-5-C） was then used for the magnetic solid-phase extraction of chlorophenols （CPs） from mushroom samples prior to high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and N2 adsorption were used to characterize the adsorbent. After experimental optimization, the amount of the adsorbent was chosen as 8.0 mg, extraction time as 10 min, sample volume as 50 mL, desorption solvent as 0.4 mL （0.2 mL × 2） of alkaline methanol, and sample pH as 6. Under the above optimized conditions, good linearity for the analytes was obtained in the range of 0.8-100.0 ng g 1 with the correlation coefficients between 0.9923 and 0.9963. The limits of detection （SIN= 3） were in the range of 0.25-0.30 ng g-1, and the relative standard deviations were below 6.8%. The result showed that the Fe304@MOF-5-C has an excellent adsorption capacity for the analytes.

We investigate the stability of steady states of a size- and stage-structured population model, which is a hybrid system of ordinary and partial differential equations with global integral feedbacks. After the formulation of a criterion by spectrum method, we derive conditions for global stability of the trivial state and local stability of the positive equilibrium via the basic reproduction rate. Furthermore, some examples and simulations ure .presented to illustrate the obtained results.

The preparation of the key intermediates N-protected piperidine carboxaldehyde 5 and the N-Boc-O-benzyl-D-serine （2） are also optimized.

A preliminary evaluation of the psychometric profiles in Chinese men with chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome

Background As one of the most commonly diagnosed diseases, chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome （CP/CPPS） is characterized by a variety of complex symptoms. Anxiety and depression are two of the most prevalent clinical manifestations of patients with CP/CPPS, and have adverse effects on the health of the subjects and prognosis of comorbidities. Such psychological disorders, however, have not been deeply and thoroughly studied in China. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and severity of psychological disorders in Chinese adults with CP/*** From April 2008 to june 2009, 80 patients and 40 age-matched healthy men participating in a voluntary health examination were recruited. The majority of the subjects completed the questionnaires on the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index （NIH-CPSI） as well as the hospital anxiety and depression scale （HADS）.Results Of all the participants, 77 （96.3%） patients and 37 （92.5%） healthy controls completed the questionnaires. The average NIH-CPSI total score was 21.0±9.5 for the patients and 2.2±1.5 for the controls （P=0.03）. Of the 77 patients with CP/CPPS, 48 （62.3%）, 5 （6.5%）, and 1 （1.2%） had anxiety symptoms, depression symptoms, or both anxiety and depression symptoms, respectively. For the controls, the average HADS anxiety and depression scores in patients were 14.5±6.8 and 5.2±4.5, which were both significantly higher than in controls. Moreover, the prevalence and the symptom scores of both the HADS anxiety and depression were higher for the younger age group （〈35 years） than for the older age group （〈35 years）.Conclusions This preliminary study revealed that male patients with CP/CPPS had a higher prevalence of psychological disorders than in the control subjects. Moreover, the differences of the prevalence and severity of the psychological symptoms between the two different age groups may imply that psychological disorders related to CP/CPPS may be relieved

Dry–rewetting（DW） disturbance frequently occurs in soils due to rainfall and irrigation, and the frequency of DW cycles might exert significant influences on soil microbial communities and their mediated functions. However, how microorganisms respond to DW alternations in soils with a history of heavy metal pollution remains largely ***, soil laboratory microcosms were constructed to explore the impacts of ten DW cycles on the soil microbial communities in two contrasting soils（fluvo-aquic soil and red soil）under three copper concentrations（zero, medium and high）. Results showed that the fluctuations of substrate induced respiration（SIR） decreased with repeated cycles of DW alternation. Furthermore, the resistance values of substrate induced respiration（RS-SIR）were highest in non-copper-stressed（zero） soils. Structural equation model（SEM） analysis ascertained that the shifts of bacterial communities determined the changes of RS-SIR in both soils. The rate of bacterial community variance was significantly lower in noncopper-stressed soil compared to the other two copper-stressed（medium and high） soils,which might lead to the higher RS-SIR in the fluvo-aquic soil. As for the red soil, the substantial increase of the dominant group WPS-2 after DW disturbance might result in the low RS-SIR in the high copper-stressed soil. Moreover, in both soils, the bacterial diversity was highest in non-copper-stressed soils. Our results revealed that initial copper stress could decrease the resistance of soil microbial community structure and function to subsequent DW disturbance.

Effective bulk phase and surface charge separation is critical for charge utilization during the photo-catalytic energy conversion *** this work,the ternary Ni_(2)P-NiS/twinned Mn_(0.5)Cd_(0.5)S(T-MCS)nanohybrids were successfully constructed via combining Ni_(2)P-NiS with T-MCS solid solution for visible light photocatalytic H_(2)evolution.T-MCS is composed of zinc blende Mn_(0.5)Cd_(0.5)S(ZB-MCS)and wurtzite Mn_(0.5)Cd_(0.5)S(WZ-MCS)and those two alternatively arranged crystal phases endow T-MCS with excellent bulk phase charge separation performance for the slight energy level difference between ZB-MCS and WZ-MCS.S-scheme carriers transfer route between NiS and T-MCS can accelerate the interfacial charge separation and retain the active electrons and holes,meanwhile,co-catalyst Ni_(2)P as electron receiver and proton reduction center can further optimize the H_(2)evolution reaction kinetics based on the surface Schottky barrier *** above-formed homo-heterojunctions can establish multiple charge transfer channels in the bulk phase of T-MCS and interface of T-MCS and Ni_(2)*** the synergistic effect of twinned homojunction,S-scheme heterojunction,and Schottky barrier,the ternary Ni_(2)P-NiS/T-MCS com-posite manifested an H_(2)production rate of 122.5 mmol h^(-1)g^(-1),which was 1.33,1.24,and 2.58 times higher than those of the NiS/T-MCS(92.4 mmol h^(-1)g^(-1)),Ni_(2)P/T-MCS(98.4 mmol h^(-1)g^(-1)),and T-MCS(47.5 mmol h^(-1)g^(-1)),*** work demonstrates a promising strategy to develop efficient sul-fides photocatalyst toward targeted solar-driven H_(2)evolution through homo-heterojunction engineering.

Background:Fecal incontinence(FI)has been shown to be a common symptom in Western countries;however,there is few researches focusing on its epidemic condition in Chinese *** conducted this national population-based epidemiology study to estimate the prevalence and risk factors of FI among adult Chinese women living in urban ***:This is a subgroup analysis of a national population-based epidemiology study of *** 28,196 adult women from urban regions of six provinces and municipalities participated in this research from 2014 to *** finished the questionnaire under the direction of trained *** was defined as accidental leakage of flatus and/or liquid or solid stool at least once in the *** FI prevalence trend and risk factors were identified by the Cochran-Armitage test,Chi-square test,and multivariable logistic ***:The prevalence of FI in adult females in urban China was 0.43%(95%confidence interval:0.35%-0.51%).Among women with FI,42.96%,82.96%,and 42.22%reported having leakage of solid,liquid stool,and gas,*** overall FI prevalence and the incidence rate of solid stool/liquid stool/gas leakage increased with *** mean Wexner score was 4.0%and 12.0%FI patients reported Wexner score≥*** mass index≥24 kg/m2,pelvic organ prolapses,chronic constipation,chronic cough,alcohol consumption,physical diseases including chronic bronchitis and cancer,gynecological diseases like gynecological inflammation are risk factors for *** delivery was the risk factor for FI in females with labor ***:FI was not a common symptom in adult Chinese women living in urban areas and there were some potential modifiable risk factors.

At present,industrial synthetic ammonia was still obtained through the Hubble-Bosch process,with large energy *** is a research hotspot to realize green synthetic ammonia by using solar *** difficulty of photocatalytic ammonia synthesis was that the photo-excited electrons have not enough energy to active N≡*** this study,Ti was doped into BiOBr by one-step hydrothermal method,which was oxidized into TiO_(2)when the doping amount reaches the maximum,in situ forming Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB/TiO_(2)*** from the synergistic effect of Ti doping and S-scheme heterojunction,the synthetic ammonia efficiency of Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB/TiO_(2)-11.96 reached 1.643 mmol·g_(cat)^(-1)at mild conditions and without hole scavenger for up to 7 h,the efficiency of synthetic ammonia is 115 times,10.5 times and 3.3 times of that of BiOBr,Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB and TiO_(2),***,DFT calculation confirms that Ti doping accurately refine the electronic structure of BiOBr,facilitate nitrogen adsorption activation and reduce hydrogenation reaction energy barrier,thus accelerating the reaction kinetics of photocatalytic nitrogen reduction(NRR),Meanwhile,constructing S-scheme heterojunction boosts the separation and transfer of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,improving the reduction ability of electrons in the conduction band of TiO_(2)and the oxidation ability of holes in the valence band of Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB.
