Structural Health Monitoring(SHM) suggests the use of machine learning algorithms with the aim of understanding specific behaviors in a structural system. This work introduces a pattern recognition methodology for operational condition clustering in a structure sample using the well known Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise(DBSCAN) *** methodology was validated using a data set from an experiment with 32 Fiber Bragg Gratings bonded to an aluminum beam placed in cantilever and submitted to cyclic bending loads under 13 different operational conditions(pitch angles). Further, the computational cost and precision of the machine learning pipeline called FA + GA-DBSCAN(which employs a combination of machine learning techniques including factor analysis for dimensionality reduction and a genetic algorithm for the automatic selection of initial parameters of DBSCAN) was measured. The obtained results have shown a good performance, detecting 12 of 13 operational conditions, with an overall precision over 90%.

Recently, it has been shown that plants contain homologs to the animal Polycomb repressive complex I （PRC1） components BM11 and RINGIA/B. In Arabidopsis, there are three BMIl-like genes, two of which, AtBMIIA and B, are required during post-embryonic plant growth to repress embryonic traits and allow cell differentiation. However, little is known about the third BMIl-like gene, AtBMIIC. In this work, we show that AtBMIIC is only expressed during endosperm and stamen development. AtBMIIC is an imprinted gene expressed from the maternal allele in the endosperm but bialleli- cally expressed in stamen. We found that the characteristic expression pattern of AtBMIIC is the result of a complex epigenetic regulation that involves CG DNA methylation, RNA-directed non-CG DNA methylation （RdDM）, and PcG activity. Our results show the orchestrated interplay of different epigenetic mechanisms in regulating gene expression throughout development, shedding light on the current hypotheses for the origin and mechanism of imprinting in plant endosperm.

To date,skin wounds are still an issue for healthcare *** numerous approaches have been developed over the years for skin regeneration,recent advances in regenerative medicine offer very promising strategies for the fabrication of artificial skin substitutes,including 3D bioprinting,electrospinning or spraying,among *** particular,skin sprays are an innovative technique still under clinical evaluation that show great potential for the delivery of cells and hydrogels to treat acute and chronic *** sprays present significant advantages compared to conventional treatments for wound healing,such as the facility of application,the possibility to treat large wound areas,or the homogeneous distribution of the sprayed *** this article,we review the latest advances in this technology,giving a detailed description of investigational and currently commercially available acellular and cellular skin spray products,used for a variety of diseases and applying different experimental ***,as skin sprays products are subjected to different classifications,we also explain the regulatory pathways for their commercialization and include the main clinical trials for different skin diseases and their treatment ***,we argue and suggest possible future trends for the biotechnology of skin sprays for a better use in clinical dermatology.

Deposition of the H2A.Z histone variant by the SWR1 complex （SWRI-C） in regulatory regions of specific loci modulates transcription. Characterization of mutations in Arabidopsis thaliana homologs of yeast SWRI-C has revealed a role for H2A.Z exchange in a variety of developmental processes. Nevertheless, the exact composition of plant SWRI-C and how it is recruited to target genes remains to be established. Here we show that SWC4, the Arabidopsis homolog of yeast SANT domain protein Swc4/Eaf2, is a DNA-binding protein that interacts with SWR1-C subunits. We demonstrate that the swc4-1 knockout mutant is embryo- lethal, while SWC4 RNAi knockdown lines display pleiotropic phenotypic alterations in vegetative and repro- ductive traits, including acceleration of flowering time, indicating that SWC4 controls post-embryonic processes. Transcriptomic analyses and genome-wide profiling of H2A.Z indicate that SWC4 represses tran- scription of a number of genes, including the floral integrator FT and key transcription factors, mainly by modulating H2A.Z deposition. Interestingly, SWC4 silencing does not affect H2A.Z deposition at the FLC locus nor expression of this gene, a master regulator of flowering previously shown to be controlled by SWR1-C. Importantly, we find that SWC4 recognizes specific AT-rich DNA elements in the chromatin regions of target genes and that SWC4 silencing impairs SWRI-C binding at FT. Collectively, our data suggest that SWC4 regulates plant growth and development by aiding SWR1-C recruitment and modulating H2A.Z deposition.

Benign intestinal tumors are the most frequent cause of small bowel intussusception in adults. This report presents a case of a 67-year-old male with abdominal pain, leukocytosis and C-reactive protein elevation. After ultrasonography and double contrast CT-scan consistent with ileal intussusception patient underwent laparoscopy, which confirmed diagnose. Intestinal resection and anastomosis were performed via minilaparotomy. Further histological study showed a fibroid inflammatory polyp or Vanek’s tumor as intussusception’s lead point.

AIM: To investigate the prevalence and penetrance of hMSH6 mutations in Spanish HNPCC families that was negative for mutation in hMLH1 or ***: We used PCR-based DGGE assay and direct Sequencing to screen for hMSH6 gene in 91 HNPCC ***: we have identified 10 families with germ-line mutations in the DNA sequence. These mutations included two intronic variation, three missense mutation, one nonsense mutation, and four silent mutations. Among the 10 germ-line mutations identified in the Spanish cohort,8 were novel, perhaps, suggesting different mutational spectra in the Spanish population. Detailed pedigrees were constructed for the three families with a possible pathogenic hMSH6 mutation. The two silent mutations H388H and L758L, detected in a person affected of colorectal cancer at age 29, produce loss of the wild-type allele in the tumor sample. Immunohistochemical analysis showed that expression of MSH6 protein was lost only in the tumors from the carriers of V878A and Q263X ***: Altogether, our results indicate that disease-causing germ-line mutations of hMSH6 are very less frequent in Spanish HNPCC families.
