Sequence-activated chem.lum.nescence(CL) technique offers a unique approach to detecting specific biom.lecules or cellular events with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. The fundam.ntal principle behind sequence-activated CL probes involves tailoring highly-controllable CL signals in response to specific sequences or events of interest, thus enabling high-contrast signals under com.lex physiological conditions. This sequential activation could be triggered by enzym.s, reactive oxygen species(ROS), biothiols or changes in the m.croenvironm.nt. These unique sequence-activated CL probes bestow several advantages, including m.nim.l background, deep-tissue penetration, and the ability of non-invasive or m.nim.lly invasive detection. The sequence-activated CL techniques represent a significant advancem.nt in m.lecular im.ging and diagnostics. In this m.ni-review, we focus on the latest developm.nts in sequential CL probes, addressing the technical challenges and discussing the future trajectory by harnessing CL signaling and m.lecular recognition.

We develop a cosm.logical m.del in a physical background scenario of four tim. and four space dim.nsions ((4+4)-dim.nsions or (4+4)-universe). We show that in this fram.work the (1+3)-universe is deeply connected with the (3+1)-universe. We argue that this m.ans that in the (4+4)-universe there exists a duality relation between the (1+3)-universe and the (3+1)-universe.

BACKGROUnD Blastic plasm.cytoid dendritic cell neoplasm.BPDCn)is a rare,highly invasive m.lignant *** is no universally accepted standard of care because of its rarity and the dearth of prospective *** is still challenging for som. patients to achieve persistent clinical rem.ssion or cure,despite the success of allogeneic hem.topoietic stem.cell transplantation(allo-HSCT),indicating that there is still a significant recurrence *** report a case of prevention of BPDCn allograft recurrence by azacitidine m.intenance therapy and review the relevant *** SUm.ARY We report a 41-year-old m.n with BPDCn who was adm.tted to hospital due to skin sclerosis for>5 m.’*** was diagnosed by com.ined clinical assessm.nt and laboratory *** diagnosis,the patients underwent induction consolidation chem.therapy to achieve the first com.lete rem.ssion,followed by bridging ***-transplantation,azacitidine(75 m./m. for 7 d)was adm.nistered as m.intenance therapy,with repeat adm.nistration every 4–6 wk and appropriate extension of the chem.therapy *** 10 cycles,the patient has been disease free for 26 m. after *** assessm.nts of bone m.rrow m.rphology,m.nim.l residual disease,full donor chim.rism.Epstein–Barr virus,and cytom.galovirus all yielded norm.l results with no abnorm.lities *** Azacitidine m.y be a safe and effective m.intenance treatm.nt for BPDCn following transplantation because there were no overt adverse events during the course of treatm.nt.

Over the past decade, graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)n_(4)) has em.rged as a universal photocatalyst toward various sustainable carbo-neutral technologies. Despite solar applications discrepancy, g-C_(3)n_(4) is still confronted with a general fatal issue of insufficient supply of therm.dynam.cally active photocarriers due to its inferior solar harvesting ability and sluggish charge transfer dynam.cs. Fortunately, this could be significantly alleviated by the “all-in-one” defect engineering strategy, which enables a sim.ltaneous am.lioration of both textural uniqueness and intrinsic electronic band structures. To this end, we have sum.arized an unprecedently com.rehensive discussion on defect controls including the vacancy/non-m.tallic dopant creation with optim.zed electronic band structure and electronic density, m.tallic doping with ultraactive coordinated environm.nt(m.n_(x), m.C_(2)n_(2), m.O bonding), functional group grafting with optim.zed band structure, and prom.ted crystallinity with extended conjugation π system.with weakened interlayered van der Waals interaction. Am.ng them. the defect states induced by various defect types such as n vacancy, P/S/halogen dopants, and cyano group in boosting solar harvesting and accelerating photocarrier transfer have also been em.hasized. m.re im.ortantly, the shallow defect traps identified by fem.osecond transient absorption spectra(fs-TAS) have also been highlighted. It is believed that this review would pave the way for future readers with a unique insight into a m.re precise defective g-C_(3)n_(4) “custom.zation”, m.tivating m.re profound thinking and flourishing research outputs on g-C_(3)n_(4)-based photocatalysis.

GPCR-Gs m.diates the protective effects of ginsenoside Rb1 against oxygen-glucose deprivation/re-oxygenation-induced astrocyte injury
