Total ionizing dose effect modeling method for CMOS digital-integrated circuit

Simulating the total ionizing dose(TID)of an electrical system using transistor-level models can be difficult and expensive,particularly for digital-integrated circuits(ICs).In this study,a method for modeling TID effects in complementary metaloxide semiconductor(CMOS)digital ICs based on the input/output buffer information specification(IBIS)was *** digital IC was first divided into three parts based on its internal structure:the input buffer,output buffer,and functional *** of these three parts was separately *** the IBIS model,the transistor V-I characteristic curves of the buffers were processed,and the physical parameters were extracted and modeled using *** the functional area,logic functions were modeled in VHDL according to the data sheet.A golden digital IC model was developed by combining the input buffer,output buffer,and functional area ***,the golden ratio was reconstructed based on TID experimental data,enabling the assessment of TID effects on the threshold voltage,carrier mobility,and time series of the digital *** experiments were conducted using a CMOS non-inverting multiplexer,NC7SZ157,and the results were compared with the simulation results,which showed that the relative errors were less than 2%at each dose *** confirms the practicality and accuracy of the proposed modeling *** TID effect model for digital ICs developed using this modeling technique includes both the logical function of the IC and changes in electrical properties and functional degradation impacted by TID,which has potential applications in the design of radiation-hardening tolerance in digital ICs.

An alkyl radical initiated cyclization/tandem reaction of alkyl bromides and alkyl electrophiles by using potassium metabisulphite(K_(2)S_(2)O_(5))as a connector is developed for the synthesis of various lactam-substituted alkyl ***,this process does not require a metal catalyst or metal powder reductant,highlighting its environmentally friendly *** reaction demonstrates outstanding substrate adaptability and a high tolerance towards diverse functional ***,the biologically active molecules and commercially available drugs with a late-stage modification are also highly compatible with this *** studies revealed that the reaction proceeds through a single-step process involving intramolecular radical cyclization,"SO_(2)"insertion,and external alkyl incorporation.

Modeling operation amplifier based on VHDL-AMS for TID effect

A model of the operational amplifier based on VHDL-AMS is proposed. According to needs of simulating the total ionizing dose(TID) radiation effect, parameters of operational amplifier are taken into account when the performance is specified. The operational amplifier model used for the TID radiation effect simulation is completed after verifying each modeled parameter. And a parameter for describing the external environment is introduced to make the model combined with TID. Finally, an example is used to illustrate the TID effect on the operational amplifier of MC14573, proving the validity of the model.

Role of endoplasmic reticular stress in aortic endothelial apoptosis induced by intermittent/persistent hypoxia

Background Accumulated evidence shows that hypoxia can induce endothelial apoptosis,however the mechanism is still *** hypothesized whether intermittent or persistent hypoxia could induce endoplasmic reticular stress,leading to endothelial *** Twenty-four 8-week male Sprague Dawley （SD） rats were divided into three groups：normoxia （NC） group,intermittent hypoxia （IH） group and persistent hypoxia （PH） *** staining was performed to detect aortic arch endotheliar apoptosis,and immunohistochemistry for BIP,CHOP and caspase12 to test protein expression;human umbilical vein endothelial cells （HUVECs） of the line ECV304 were cultured （with or without taurodeoxycholic acid （TUDCA） 10 mmol/L,100 mmol/L） and divided into four groups：NC group （20.8％ O2 for 4 hours）,PH1 group （5％ O2 for 4 hours）,PH2 group （5％ O2 for 12 hours） and IH group （20.8％ O2 and 5％ O2 alternatively for 8 hours）.Annexin V-fluorescein-isothiocyanate/propidium iodide flow cytometry was used to assess apoptosis in each *** expressions of GRP78,CHOP and caspase12 were detected by real-time quantitative reverse-transcription *** Intermittent and persistent hypoxia could increase the rate of endothelium apoptosis and the expressions of GRP78,CHOP and caspase12 compared with the control,induction by intermittent hypoxia was slightly higher than persistent *** the HUVEC experiment,TUDCA significantly reduced apoptosis and the expressions of GRP78,CHOP and *** Hypoxia,especially intermittent,can induce endothelial cell apoptosis possibly through endoplasmic reticulum stress pathway,which can be attenuated by taurodeoxycholic acid.

Microstructure,cracking behavior and control of Al-Fe-V-Si alloy produced by selective laser melting

Selective laser melting(SLM)technology based on atomized powder was used to fabricate Al-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si(wt%)alloy *** microstructure and crack characterization of SLM samples fabricated at various conditions were *** show that the cracks appear periodically along the building direction,initiate preferably at the outer edges of the as-built samples and propagated along the remelting border zone(RBZ)into deposited ***-phase cracking is proposed according to the fracture *** thermal-induced residual stress during SLM combined with the precipitation of relatively large-sized Al_mFe phase in the RBZ results in the formation of *** scanning speed and hatch distance enable to reduce the cracking *** crack-free Al-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si parts can be fabricated at optimized parameters of laser power of 320 W,scanning speed of 1000 mm·s^(-1)and hatch distance of0.10 mm along with proper laser pre-heating *** samples built horizontally show good ultimate tensile properties of 454 MPa in average with the elongation of7.2%.

Selective Laser Melting of an Al–Fe–V–Si Alloy:Microstructural Evolution and Thermal Stability

Selective laser melting was used to produce an aluminum alloy Al-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si（wt%）. The effects of heat treatment on microstructure evolution and phase stability during long-term thermal exposure of the deposits were investigated. Results show that the microquasi-crystalline phase, Al12（Fe,V）3Si and AlmF e metastable phases coexisted with α-Al in the as-produced alloy. Annealing at 400 ℃ resulted in decomposition of microquasi-crystalline phase and supersaturated α-Al into Al12（Fe, V）3Si phase in the fusion zone, accompanied by the decrease in alloy hardness. The activation energy of this decomposition process was 115 k J/mol. A more homogenous microstructure was obtained after annealing at 400 °C for 60 min,which was resistant to coarsening exposed at 425 °C up to 500 h. The Al12（Fe,V）3Si and AlmF e phases were coarsened at 475 and 525℃ with increasing the exposure time. Coarsening of Al12（Fe,V）3Si phase was attributed to a combination of volume diffusion and grain boundary diffusion mechanism of Fe. Heat treatment at 600℃ resulted in accelerated microstructure coarsening and formation of large-sized equilibrium phases, which signi？cantly degraded the room temperature microhardness.

Annexin A2 promotes choroidal neovascularization by increasing vascular endothelial growth factor expression in a rat model of argon laser coagulation-induced choroidal neovascularization

Background Choroidal neovascularization （CNV） is a common cause of visual loss in the elderly patients with age-related macular degeneration and represents the growth of subretinal new vessels in the macular region. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between annexin A2 （ANXA2） and vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF） in *** In a rat model of argon laser coagulation-induced CNV, the mRNA expressions of the annexins and VEGF protein expression in the retina were detected using fluorescent real-time polymerase chain reaction （PCR） and immunohistochemistry, respectively. The interactions between ANXA2 and VEGF in both a retinal pigment epithelial cell line RPE-J and the rat model of CNV were examined by means of RNA interference, real-time PCR, Western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） and histopathological examinations. Results Fundus fluorescein angiography （FFA） showed that argon laser coagulation of the retina induced stable CNV models in the rats. Two to three weeks after the coagulation, ANXA2. and VEGF expressions in the coagulated area in the retina and choroid increased to the peak level, while the other annexin members （ANXA4, ANXA5, ANXA7 and ANXA11） showed no obvious changes. In RPE-J cells and the CNV model, RNA interference of ANXA2 gene significantly lowered the VEGF protein and mRNA expressions, and application of an adenoviral vector containing ANXA2 gene markedly increased VEGF expressions in the rat model of CNV, but produced no significant effects on the expressions of the kinase insert domain-containing receptor （KDR） or the fms-like tyrosine kinase （Fit-l）. The expression of KDR inhibited the increment in ANXA2 expression, but VEGF and Rt-1 did not directly affect ANXA2 expression. Conclusion Besides the role as a plasminogen and the receptor of tissue plasminogen activator, ANXA2, which is under regulation of KDR via a negative feedback mechanism, also participates in neovascularization by regulating VE

Housing vacancy identification in shrinking cities based on multi-source data:A case study of Fushun city in Northeast China

Urban shrinkage has attracted the attention of many geographers and urban planners in recent ***,there are fewer studies on vacant housing in shrinking ***,this study combines multi-source remote sensing images and urban building data to assess the spatiotemporal variation patterns of housing vacancy in a typical shrinking city in *** following points were obtained:(1)We developed an evaluation model to identify vacant residential buildings in shrinking cities by removing the contribution of nighttime lights from roads and non-residential buildings;(2)The residential building vacancy rate in Fushun city significantly increased from 2013 to 2020,resulting in a significant high-value clustering *** impact of urban shrinkage on vacant residential buildings was higher than that on vacant non-residential buildings;(3)The World Pop population data demonstrated consistent spatial distribution and trend of population change in Fushun with the residential building vacancy rate results,suggesting good reliability of the constructed evaluation model in this *** housing vacancies can help the local government to raise awareness of the housing vacancy problem in shrinking cities and to propose reasonable renewal strategies.
