hhen ammonium sulfate-iron oxide is treated below 573 K, ammonium sulfate can spontaneously desperse on the surface of iron oxide. Simultaneously ammonium sulfate decomposes to some extent. During or after the dispersion, sulfate ion can interact with Fe atom on the surface of iron oxide to form a sort of surface sulfato complex of Fe and thus is transformed from the isolated into the bidentately bound form. Above 573 K the sulfato complex of Fe will gradually decompose with a further increase in temperature.

The effects of the location,number and stiffness of guide pads on the lowest critical rotational frequencies of the rotating circular saw damped at the inside and free at the perimeter are discussed by the non linear theory and the perturbation theory of structural vibration analysis The influence of the centrifugal force and the cutting temperature are considered in the course of the analysis The results of the analysis and the calculation show that the introduction of one guide does not stably raise critical rotational frequencies of the circular saw The two guides can raise lowest critical rotational frequency of the circular saw when the angle between the two guides fixed on the direction of the circumference satisfies the certain conditions

The mechanical properties of the sand of Takelamagan desert in Xinjiang under moving vehicle are studied by soil dynamic triaxial test apparatus. The nonlinear elastic constitutive model of the sand under moving vehicle is established first. These results lay the foundations for studying the interaction between vehicle running gear and the sand of Takelamagan desert in Xinjiang. and developing sand vehicle.

Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation(MALDI) mass spectra in matrices DHBs and ferulic acid have been taken and used to determine the molecular weight of one of the variants of human hemoglobin. A single laser operating at 355 nm was used to irradiate the sample droplet spots on a target for both desorption and ionisation. Ions were analyzed and detected by a reflectron time-of-flight mass spectrometer system. The mass values of α-chain and β-chain without heme group for a kind of human hemoglobin molecules were determined, which are 15275 Da and 16060Da respectively, with the accuracy of 0. 03%. The various factors influencing the resolution of mass spectrum were discussed.

The superplasticity of the Al-Zn-Mg-Zr-RE(alloy A)and Al-Zn-Mg-Ti(alloy B),their change of volume fraction of metastable micro-cavities under various reduction of area and strain rates,as well as the growth of stable cavities in them have been studied by means of small angle X-ray scattering analyses and quantitative metalloraphy ***- tal results show that the volume fraction of metastable micro-cavities of the alloy A is more than that of the alloy B,but the growth rate of stable cavities in alloy A is less than that in al- loy ***,it is believed that the superplasticity of alloy A is superior to that of alloy B.
