Cyberattacks targeting industrial control systems(ICS)are becoming more sophisticated and advanced than in the past.A programmable logic controller(PLC),a core component of ICS,controls and monitors sensors and actuators in the ***,PLC has memory attack threats such as program injection and manipulation,which has long been a major target for attackers,and it is important to detect these attacks for ICS *** detect PLC memory attacks,a security system is required to acquire and monitor PLC memory *** addition,the performance impact of the security system on the PLC makes it difficult to apply to the *** address these challenges,this paper proposes a system to detect PLC memory attacks by continuously acquiring and monitoring PLC *** proposed system detects PLC memory attacks by acquiring the program blocks and block information directly from the same layer as the PLC and then comparing them in bytes with previous *** with Siemens S7-300 and S7-400 PLC were conducted to evaluate the PLC memory detection performance and performance impact on *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system detects all malicious organization block(OB)injection and data block(DB)manipulation,and the increment of PLC cycle time,the impact on PLC performance,was less than 1 *** proposed system detects PLC memory attacks with a simpler detection method than earlier ***,the proposed system can be applied to ICS with a small performance impact on PLC.

As energy-related problems continue to emerge,the need for stable energy supplies and issues regarding both environmental and safety require urgent *** energy is becoming increasingly important,with solar power accounting for the most significant proportion of *** the scale and importance of solar energy have increased,cyber threats against solar power plants have also ***,we need an anomaly detection system that effectively detects cyber threats to solar power ***,as mentioned earlier,the existing solar power plant anomaly detection system monitors only operating information such as power generation,making it difficult to detect *** address this issue,in this paper,we propose a network packet-based anomaly detection system for the Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)of the inverter,an essential system of photovoltaic plants,to detect cyber *** and vulnerabilities in solar power plants were analyzed to identify cyber threats in solar power *** analysis shows that Denial of Service(DoS)and Manin-the-Middle(MitM)attacks are primarily carried out on inverters,aiming to disrupt solar plant *** develop an anomaly detection system,we performed preprocessing,such as correlation analysis and normalization for PLC network packets data and trained various machine learning-based classification models on such *** Random Forest model showed the best performance with an accuracy of 97.36%.The proposed system can detect anomalies based on network packets,identify potential cyber threats that cannot be identified by the anomaly detection system currently in use in solar power plants,and enhance the security of solar plants.

Prediction of Cold and Heat Patterns Using Anthropometric Measures Based on Machine Learning

Objective： To examine the association of body shape with cold and heat patterns, to determine which anthropometric measure is the best indicator for discriminating between the two patterns, and to investigate whether using a combination of measures can improve the predictive power to diagnose these patterns. Methods： Based on a total of 4,859 subjects （3,000 women and 1,859 men）, statistical analyses using binary logistic regression were performed to assess the significance of the difference and the predictive power of each anthropometric measure, and binary logistic regression and Naive Bayes with the variable selection technique were used to assess the improvement in the predictive power of the patterns using the combined measures. Results： In women, the strongest indicators for determining the cold and heat patterns among anthropometric measures were body mass index （BMI） and rib circumference; in men, the best indicator was BMI. In experiments using a combination of measures, the values of the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve in women were 0.776 by Naive Bayes and 0.772 by logistic regression, and the values in men were 0.788 by Naive Bayes and 0.779 by logistic regression. Conclusions： Individuals with a higher BMI have a tendency toward a heat pattern in both women and men. The use of a combination of anthropometric measures can slightly improve the diagnostic accuracy. Our findings can provide fundamental information for the diagnosis of cold and heat patterns based on body shape for personalized medicine.

This work describes the performance of the direct carbon fuel cell(DCFC)fuelled by ash-free *** coal in the DCFC might be problematic,mainly because of the ash deposition after the cell *** the study,the carbonaceous ash-free component of coal is obtained,which is then evaluated as the DCFC fuel and compared with raw coal,active carbon,carbon black,and *** electrolyte-supported SOFC structure is adapted to build the *** DCFC based on the ash-free coal fuel exhibits good performance with regard to the maximum power density,day-by-day measurements,and durability at continuous *** the carbon fuels are internally gasified to H2 and CO,the power density is generally much improved,compared to N2 pyrolysis *** power generation is most likely related to the concentration of pyrolyzed gases as well as the electrochemical reactivity of the solid carbon.

This paper investigated an experimental method for bake hardening properties, a technique for deriving the true stress-strain curves after reaching the maximum load, and a constitutive equation considering both work hardening and bake hardening in order to apply the work hardening occurring in the forming process of parts and the bake hardening induced in the baking process to an automotive crash simulation. A general bake hardening test is that a pre-tensioned specimen is baked and then the same specimen is tensioned again without any further treatment. For a bake hardening test of automotive steel with a tensile strength of 1.2 GPa or more, fractures often occur in curvature section outside, an extensometer due to the difference in the material strength caused by non-uniform bake hardening. This causes a problem in that the bake hardening properties cannot be obtained. In this paper, to prevent curvature fracture, tensile specimens were re-machined in the uniformly deformed region of large specimens subjected to pre-strain, and the re-machined specimens with uniform strength in all regions were re-tensioned. In the bake hardening test of ultra-high strength steels with a tensile strength of 1 GPa or more, shear band fractures occur when the pre-strain is large. This makes it impossible to obtain a true stress-strain curve because there is no uniformly deformed region under a tensile test. To overcome this problem, a new method to calculate the true stress-strain curve by comparing experimental results and the load calculated by the local strain obtained from digital images was developed. This method can be applied not only where shear band deformation occurs, but also in necking deformation, and true stress-strain curves for strains up to 2 - 3 times the uniform elongation can be obtained. A new constitutive equation was developed since an appropriate hardening model is required to simultaneously apply the work hardening and the bake hardening to the simulation. F
