Objective: IMpower210(NCT02813785) explored the efficacy and safety of single-agent atezolizumab *** as second-line treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) in East Asian ***: Key eligibility criteria for this phase Ⅲ, open-label, randomized study included age ≥18 years;histologically documented advanced NSCLC per the Union for International Cancer Control/American Joint Committee on Cancer staging system(7th edition);Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0 or 1;and disease progression following platinum-based chemotherapy for advanced or metastatic NSCLC. Patients were randomized 2:1 to receive either atezolizumab(1,200 mg) or docetaxel(75 mg/m^(2)). The primary study endpoint was overall survival(OS) in the intention-to-treat(ITT) population with wild-type epidermal growth factor receptor expression(ITT EGFR-WT) and in the overall ITT ***: Median OS in the ITT EGFR-WT population(n=467) was 12.3 [95% confidence interval(95% CI),10.3-13.8] months in the atezolizumab arm(n=312) and 9.9(95% CI, 7.8-13.9) months in the docetaxel arm[n=155;stratified hazard ratio(HR), 0.82;95% CI, 0.66-1.03]. Median OS in the overall ITT population was 12.5(95% CI, 10.8-13.8) months with atezolizumab treatment and 11.1(95% CI, 8.4-14.2) months(n=377) with docetaxel treatment(n=188;stratified HR, 0.87;95% CI, 0.71-1.08). Grade 3/4 treatment-related adverse events(TRAEs) occurred in 18.4% of patients in the atezolizumab arm and 50.0% of patients in the docetaxel ***: IMpower210 did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint of OS in the ITT EGFR-WT or overall ITT populations. Atezolizumab was comparatively more tolerable than docetaxel, with a lower incidence of grade3/4 TRAEs.

Patients with small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) relapse within months after completing previous therapies. This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of anlotinib as third- or further-line therapy in patients with short-term relapsed SCLC from ALTER1202. Patients with short-term relapsed SCLC (disease progression within 3 months after completing ≥ two lines of chemotherapy) in the anlotinib (n = 67) and placebo (n = 34) groups were analyzed. The primary endpoint was progression-free survival (PFS). The secondary endpoints included overall survival, objective response rate (ORR), disease control rate, and safety. Anlotinib significantly improved median PFS/OS (4.0 vs. 0.7 months, P he ORR was 4.5%/2.9% in the anlotinib/placebo group (P = 1.000). The DCR in the anlotinib group was higher than that in the placebo group (73.1% vs. 11.8%, P he most common adverse events (AEs) were hypertension (38.8%), loss of appetite (28.4%), and fatigue (22.4%) in the anlotinib group and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase elevation (20.6%) in the placebo group. No grade 5 AEs occurred. For patients with short-term relapsed SCLC, third- or further-line anlotinib treatment was associated with improved survival benefit. Further studies are warranted in this regard.

肺移植手术经过20年的发展,在我国已逐渐成为一项常规的手术,心肺移植案例也逐年增加[1-2]。这一领域备受关注,尤其是对肺器官的保护成为研究的重点之一。目前,在肺移植领域中,肺保护的进展主要包括以下几个方面:体外肺灌注提升供肺质量;新保存液研发减少器官转运过程中的细胞损伤和炎症反应;细胞与基因治疗增强肺抗损伤能力;优化机械通气策略与术后及时拔管减轻通气相关的损伤;优化免疫调节策略降低排斥反应,提高移植肺存活率;使用抗血管渗透药物减少血管渗出;缺氧预处理提升移植肺对损伤的耐受性。这些进展共同提高了移植成功率和肺功能恢复。

背景与目的肺癌高居中国恶性肿瘤发病率和死亡率之首。既往肺癌筛查试验大多为针对吸烟者等高危人群的选择性筛查,然而亚洲肺癌病例非吸烟女性占相当比例。本研究旨在评估广州市社区女性的肺癌患病率并探究肺癌高危因素。方法采用胸部低剂量计算机断层扫描(low-dose computed tomography,LDCT)对广州市40-74岁女性居民行肺癌筛查,并根据2018版《中国肺癌低剂量螺旋CT筛查指南》对肺结节进行分类管理及计算阳性结节和肺癌检出率。筛查对象在行检查前均须完成“肺癌危险因素调研问卷”,后对问卷危险因素进行最小绝对收缩和选择算子惩罚Logistic回归分析。结果分析共纳入6256名女性,发现阳性结节1228例(19.63%),确诊肺癌117例(1.87%),其中原位癌6例,I期103例(占肺癌比例88.03%)。根据问卷变量行最小绝对收缩和选择算子(Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator,LASSO)惩罚Logistic回归分析发现,年龄≥50岁(OR=1.07,95%CI:1.06-1.07)、个人恶性肿瘤史(OR=3.29,95%CI:3.22-3.37)、纺织职业(OR=1.10,95%CI:1.08-1.13)、小时候使用煤为燃料(OR=1.14,95%CI:1.13-1.16)以及食物过敏史(OR=1.10,95%CI:1.07-1.13)是该地区女性肺癌的高危因素。结论胸部LDCT可以发现大量早期肺癌,可用于女性肺癌筛查。年龄≥50岁、个人恶性肿瘤史、纺织职业、小时候使用煤为燃料和食物过敏史是该地区女性人群肺癌的高危因素,需提高该群体对肺癌早筛的重视程度。

Cytogenetics and fiber properties were studied on the Gossypium hirsutumxG. somalense F2 hybrid and later generations. The cytological analyses of pollen mother cells (PMCs) were made at meiotic metaphase I. The results indicated that the hybrid was a new allohexaploid, its chromosome number determined as 2n=6x=78, and genome group as 2[(AD)1E2]. Chromosomal configurations of the hexaploid averaged 0.15Ⅰ+ 38.72Ⅱ + 0.1Ⅲ + 0.02Ⅳ per cell, 85.09% PMCs having 39 bivalents, and only 11.84% PMCs having 1 to 2 multivalents, indicating that heteroge-netic recombinations of chromosomes occurs between (AD)1 and E2, nevertheless, the frequency is lower. The hexaploids are self-fertile and the progenies remain the hexaploids, whose fibers are light brown and have higher strength by measurement of HVI 900 system. The fiber strength increases 42% than that of upland cotton variety. Therefore, it is possible for the hexaploid to be an important germplasm resource to improve fiber strength of cotton.
