Trace elements in magmatic and hydrothermal quartz:Implications on the genesis of the Xingluokeng Tungsten Deposit,South China

The Xingluokeng deposit is the largest gran-ite-related tungsten deposit within the Wuyi metallogenic belt in South *** Xingluokeng intrusion primarily consists of porphyritic biotite granite,biotite granite,andfine-grained *** deposit is represented by veinlet-disseminated mineralization with K-feldspathization and biotitization,alongside quartz-vein mineralization with gre-isenization and *** study investigates in-situ analyses of quartz compositions from both the intrusion and hydrothermal veinlets and *** element correlations indicate that trivalent Al^(3+)and Fe^(3+)replace Si^(4+)within the quartz lattice,with monovalent cations(such as Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))primarily serving as charge *** Ge/Al ratios(<0.013)of quartz from granites suggest a mag-matic *** low Al/Ti and Ge/Ti ratios,accompanied by high Ti contents in quartz,suggest that the porphyritic biotite granite and biotite granite are characterized by rela-tively low levels of differentiation and high crystallization *** contrast,thefine-grained granite exhibits a higher degree of fractionation,lower crystallization tem-peratures,and a closer association with tungsten *** contents in quartz from quartz veins indicate Qz-Ⅰformed at temperatures above 400°C,while Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴformed at temperatures below 350°*** in different generations of quartz,as indicated by Al content and(Al+Fe)/(Li+Na+K)ratio,suggest that Qz-Ⅰprecipi-tated from a less acidicfluid with a stable pH,whereas Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴoriginated from a more acidicfluid with notable pH ***,alkaline alteration and acidic alteration supplied the essential Ca and Fe for the precipita-tion of scheelite and wolframite,respectively,highlighting a critical mechanism in tungsten mineralization at the Xin-gluokeng deposit.

Linkage of mineral inclusions and zoning of magnetite with fluid evolution of hydrothermal systems: A case study of the fenghuangshan Cu-Fe-Au skarn deposit， Eastern China

Magnetite from hydrothermal deposits may show compositional zoning with various mineral inclusions in response to the evolution of hydrothermal fluids. Magnetite from the fenghuangshan Cu-Fe-Au skarn deposit (Eastern China) is a common mineral formed in the earlier stage of skarnization. Magnetite grains have dark gray and light gray zones and contain diverse mineral inclusions. Dark gray zones have higher Si， Ca， Al， and Mg contents than light gray zones. The magnetite matrix from dark gray zones shows superstructure along the [0-11] zone axis in fast Fourier transform patterns， different from magnetite from light gray zones with normal structure. Three types of mineral inclusions are identified within magnetite: nano-， micron- and submicron-nanometer inclusions. Nanoinclusions hosted in dark gray zones are actinolite， diopside， and trace element-rich magnetite， and these are likely formed by growth entrapment during magnetite crystallization at the skarn stage. The chain-width order-disorder intergrowths of diopside nanoinclusion likely indicate fluctuating fluid compositions in a lattice scale. Submicron to nanometer inclusions at the boundary between dark gray and light gray zones are quartz， titanite， and Ti-rich magnetite， which were formed via a dissolution and reprecipitation process at the quartz-sulfide stage. Micron-inclusions randomly distributed in both dark and light gray zones include calcite， ankerite， quartz， and chlorite， and these were formed via penetration of fluids at the carbonate stage. Zoned magnetite was formed by fluid replacement， overgrowth， and fluid infilling. Our study highlights the importance of mineral inclusion assemblages， and textural and chemical zonation of magnetite in constraining fluid evolution.

Age and petrogenesis of the newly discovered Early Permian granite in the Kumtor gold field， Kyrgyz Tien-Shan

Permian intrusions are widespread in the Middle and Southern Tien Shan， with fewer occurrences in the Northern Tien-Shan. Notably， many of these intrusions are spatially associated with a variety of ore deposits， indicating a significant link between magmatic activity and mineralization processes in these areas. We studied granite samples recently recovered from drilling in the Kumtor gold field to evaluate their potential relationships with gold mineralization. We report major and trace element geochemistry， zircon U-Pb age and Hf isotope data for this so-called Kumtor granite. The Kumtor granite is metaluminous to peraluminous and belongs to the high-K and calc-alkaline series with I-type geochemical characteristics. The relatively high K2O and Na2O concentrations and low high field strength elements （HFSE） and heavy rare earth elements （HREE）， the presence of biotite within these I-type granites， together with their low zircon saturation temperatures （731–779 °C）， suggest that they were likely derived from a hydrous source formed by dehydration melting of mica-bearing， medium- to high-K metabasaltic rocks. Our zircon U-Pb dating results indicate that the Kumtor granite intruded at 293 ± 1.7 Ma， which is consistent with the age range of other Middle Tien-Shan granitoids. The zircon Hf isotopic composition is εHf（t）= –7.56 to –5.05， indicating an ancient （1.39 to 1.52 Ga） crustal origin. Petrographical， geochemical and geochronological data indicate that the Kumtor granite is similar to leuco-granites of the Terekty complex. Our results indicate that the Kumtor granite was emplaced in the early Permian in a post-collision setting and may have temporal and genetic relationships with gold mineralization.

Textural and compositional variation of mica from the Dexing porphyry Cu deposit:constraints on the behavior of halogens in porphyry systems

The Dexing porphyry deposit is the largest porphyry Cu–Mo–Au deposit in South *** composition can record the physicochemical conditions and evolution history of magmatic-hydrothermal *** from the Dexing porphyry deposit could be divided to three types:primary magmatic biotite(Bi-M),hydrothermal altered magmatic biotite(Bi-A)and hydrothermal biotite(Bi-H).The temperature of Bi-M and Bi-H range from 719 to 767℃ and 690 to 727℃,*** magmatic and hydrothermal biotite have high Fe^(3+)/Fe^(2+)ratios(from 0.18 to 0.24)and XMgvalues(from 0.57 to 0.66),indicating a high oxygen *** has F lower than Bi-A and Bi-H(up to 0.26 wt%),but has Cl(Cl=0.18–0.30 wt%)similar to Bi-A and Bi-H(Cl=0.21–0.35 wt%),suggesting that high Cl/F ratios of early hydrothermal fluid may result from the exsolution from high Cl *** potassic alteration zone to phyllic and propylitic alteration zones,Cl decreases with increasing Cu,whereas F increases ***,Cl mostly originate from magma,but enrichment of F possibly results from reaction of fluids and Neoproterozoic *** correlation between Cl and Cu indicates that Cl might act as an important catalyst during Cu mineralization *** from Dexing has similar halogen compositions to other porphyry Cu-/Mo deposits in the *** contents of hydrothermal fluid may be critical for Cu transportation and enrichment,while consumption of Cl would promote Cu deposition.

Co-Harvest Phase-Change Enthalpy and Isomerization Energy for High-Energy Heat Output by Controlling Crystallization of Alkyl-Grafted Azobenzene Molecules
