As a special order of electronic correlation induced by spatial modulation, the charge density wave(CDW) phenomena in condensed matters attract enormous research interests. Here, using scanning-tunneling microscopy in various temperatures, we discover a hidden incommensurate stripe-like CDW order besides the(■) CDW phase at low-temperature of 4 K in the epitaxial monolayer 1T-VSe_(2) film. Combining the variable-temperature angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopic(ARPES) measurements, we discover a two-step transition of an anisotropic CDW gap structure that consists of two parts △_(1) and△_(2). The gap part ?1 that closes around ~ 150 K is accompanied with the vanish of the(√7×√3) CDW phase. While another momentum-dependent gap part △_(2) can survive up to ~ 340 K, and is suggested to the result of the incommensurate CDW phase. This two-step transition with anisotropic gap opening and the resulted evolution in ARPES spectra are corroborated by our theoretical calculation based on a phenomenological form for the self-energy containing a two-gap structure △_(1) +△_(2), which suggests different forming mechanisms between the(√7×√3) and the incommensurate CDW phases. Our findings provide significant information and deep understandings on the CDW phases in monolayer 1T-VSe_(2) film as a two-dimensional(2D) material.

By utilizing the fluctuation exchange approximation method,we perform a study on the superconducting pairing symmetry in a t_(2g) three-orbital model on the square *** the tight-binding parameters of the model are based on Sr_(2)RuO_(4),we have systematically studied the evolution of superconducting pairing symmetry with the carrier density and interactions,making our findings relevant to a broader range of material *** a moderate Hund’s coupling,we find that spin fluctuations dominate the superconducting pairing,leading to a prevalent spin-singlet pairing with a d_(x^(2)-y^(2))-wave symmetry for the carrier density within the range of n=1.5-4 per *** reducing the Hund’s coupling,the charge fluctuations are enhanced and play a crucial role in determining the pairing symmetry,leading to a transition of the pairing symmetry from the spin-singlet d_(x^(2)-y^(2))-wave to the spin-triplet ***,we find that the superconducting pairings are orbital *** the carrier density changes from n=4 to n=1.5,the active orbitals for superconducting pairing shift from the quasi-two-dimensional orbital dxy to the quasi-one-dimensional orbitals d_(xz) and d_(yz).

We study the motion of a hole with internal degrees of freedom,introduced to the zigzag magnetic ground state of Na_(2)IrO_(3),by using the self-consistent Born *** find that the low-,intermediate-,and high-energy spectra are primarily attributed to the singlet,triplet,and quintet hole contributions,*** spectral functions exhibit distinct features such as the electron-like dispersion of low-energy states near the L point,the maximum M-point intensity of mid-energy states,and the hole-like dispersion of high-energy *** features are robust and almost insensitive to the exchange model and Hund's coupling,and are in qualitative agreement with the angular-resolved photoemission spectra observed in Na_(2)IrO_(3).Our results reveal that the interference between internal degrees of freedom in different sublattices plays an important role in inducing the complex dispersions.

OBJECTIVES Moderate to vigorous physical activity is recommended to prevent hypertension according to the current ***,the degree to which the total physical activity(TPA)and its changes benefit normotensives and hypertensives is *** aimed to examine the effects of TPA and its changes on the incidence,progression,and remission of hypertension in the large-scale prospective *** A total of 73,077 participants(55,101 normotensives and 17,976 hypertensives)were eligible for TPA *** a mean follow-up of 7.16 years(394,038 person-years),12,211 hypertension cases were *** was estimated as metabolic equivalents and categorized into *** proportional hazards regression and multivariable logistic regression were used to estimate associations of TPA and changes in TPA with incident hypertension and progression/remission of *** Compared with the lowest quartile of TPA,normotensives at the third and the highest quartile had a decreased risk of incident hypertension,with hazard ratios(HRs)of 0.86[95%confidence interval(CI):0.81−0.91]and 0.81(95%CI:0.77−0.86),*** at the highest quartile of TPA demonstrated a decreased risk of progression of hypertension[odds ratio(OR)=0.87,95%CI:0.79−0.95],and an increased probability of hypertension remission(OR=1.17,95%CI:1.05−1.29).Moreover,getting active from a sedentary lifestyle during the follow-up period could reduce 25%(HR=0.75,95%CI:0.58−0.96)risk of incident hypertension,whereas those becoming sedentary did not achieve benefit from initially being *** Our findings indicated that increasing and maintaining TPA levels could benefit normotensives,whereas higher TPA levels were needed to effectively control progression and improve remission of *** activity played undoubtedly an essential role in both primary and secondary prevention of hypertension.

Parkinson’s disease is the second most common progressive neurodegenerative disorder,and few reliable biomarkers are available to track disease *** proteins,DNA,mRNA,and lipids carried by exosomes reflect intracellular changes,and thus can serve as biomarkers for a variety of *** this study,we investigated alterations in the protein content of plasma exosomes derived from patients with Parkinson’s disease and the potential therapeutic roles of these proteins in Parkinson’s *** a tandem mass tag-based quantitative proteomics approach,we characterized the proteomes of plasma exosomes derived from individual patients,identified exosomal protein signatures specific to patients with Parkinson’s disease,and identified N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase as a differentially expressed protein.N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase expression levels in exosomes from the plasma of patients and healthy controls were validated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and western *** results demonstrated that the exosomal N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase concentration was not only lower in Parkinson’s disease,but also decreased with increasing Hoehn-Yahr stage,suggesting that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase could be used to rapidly evaluate Parkinson’s disease ***,western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis showed that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase levels were markedly reduced both in cells treated with 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium and cells overexpressingα-synuclein compared with control ***,N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase overexpression significantly increased cell viability and inhibitedα-synuclein expression in 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-treated *** together,our findings demonstrate for the first time that exosomal N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase may serve as a biomarker for Parkinson’s disease diagnosis,and that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase may reduceα-synuclein expression and 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-induced n

Summary:The SARS-CoV-2 infection status of hospitalized children was surveyed in the department of pediatric hematology and oncology in three different hospitals of epidemic areas in Hubei,China.A cross-sectional study was performed to investigate the clinical characteristics,lung CT scan,SARS CoV-2 nucleic acid test and serum antibodics of hospitalized children with hemato-oncological diseases from January 23 to April 24,2020.299 children were enrolled in this study,including 176 males(58.9%)and 123 females(41.1%),aged from 2 months to 16 years.255 cases(85.3%)received chemotherapy or other immunosuppressive therapies,and there were 44 cases(14.7%)of other benign *** acid test was performed on 258 children(86.3%)and one case was positive.163 cases(54.5%)were tested for serum antibodies,and all of them were *** CT scan was performed on 247 children(82.6%),and 107 of them showed infectious *** one case(0.33%)of COVID-19 was diagnosed in the *** prevalence rate of COVID-19 in enrolled children with hemato-oncological diseases in Hubei was 0.33%.Immunosuppressed patients are not prone to produce related *** protective measures and ward management can reduce the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the group patients.
