In this work,a comparative study of three frequently employed modification techniques to g-C_(3)N_(4)(CN)nanosheets for the photocatalytic degradation of metribuzin(MET)under visible-light irradiation has been carried out in *** modification methods were coupling TiO_(2)nanoparticles(TO)as electron acceptors,nano-sized Fe_(2)O_(3)(FO)to construct a Z-scheme nanocomposite,and phosphate(HP)modification to promote O_(2)*** steady-state and transient-state surface photovoltage spectra and transient photoluminescence(PL)spectra confirmed that all the three modification techniques enhanced the charge separation with prolonged lifetimes and presented degradation activities in the order of TO/CN[FO/CN[HP/*** TO/CN nanocomposite showed the highest photocatalytic activity for MET degradation,with a sixfold higher rate than bulk *** chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry and radical trapping experiments indicated that the increased activity was related to the synergetic effect of two radicals(·O^(2-) and ·OH)involved in the photocatalytic degradation pathway,which was different from the·OH radical-dominated pathway of bulk *** work reveals the importance of charge separation and the influence of the radical pathway and provides guidance for the design of high-efficiency photocatalysts.

Purpose:The incidence of acute lung injury(ALI)in severe trauma patients is 48%and the mortality rate following acute respiratory distress syndrome evolved from ALI is up to 68.5%.Alveolar epithelial type 1 cells(AEC1 s)and type 2 cells(AEC2s)are the key cells in the repair of injured lungs as well as fetal lung ***,the purification and culture of AECls and AEC2s play an important role in the research of repair and regeneration of lung ***:Sprague-Dawley rats(3-4 weeks,120-150 g)were purchased for *** and DNase I were jointly used to digest lung tissue to obtain a single-cell suspension of whole lung cells,and then magnetic bead cell sorting was performed to isolate Tla positive cells as AECls from the single-cell suspension by using polyclonal rabbit anti-Tla(a specific AECls membrane protein)antibodies combined with anti-rabbit IgG ***,alveolar epithelial cell membrane marker protein EpCAM was designed as a key label to sort AEC2s from the remaining Tla-neg cells by another positive immunomagnetic selection using monoclonal mouse anti-EpCAM antibodies and anti-mouse IgG *** purity was identified by immunofluorescence staining and flow ***沾••The purity of AECls and AEC2s was 88.3%±3.8%and 92.6%±2.7%,*** cell growth was observed as follows:AECls stretched within the 12-16 h,but the cells proliferated slowly;while AEC2s began to stretch after 24 h and proliferated rapidly from the 2nd day and began to differentiate after 3 ***:AECls and AEC2s sorted by this method have high purity and good ***,our method provides a new approach for the isolation and culture of AECls and AEC2s as well as a new strategy for the research of lung repair and regeneration.

The accumulation of^(222)Rn and^(220)Rn progeny in poorly ventilated environments poses the risk of natural radiation exposure to the public.A previous study indicated that satisfactory results in determining the^(222)Rn and^(220)Rn progeny concentrations by measuring the total alpha counts at five time intervals within 560 min should be expected only in the case of high progeny concentrations in *** complete the measurement within a relatively short period and adapt it for simultaneous measurements at comparatively lower^(222)Rn and^(220)Rn progeny concentrations,a novel mathematical model was proposed based on the radioactive decay *** model employs a nonlinear fitting method to distinguish nuclides with overlapping spectra by utilizing the alpha particle counts of non-overlapping spectra within consecutive measurement cycles to obtain the concentrations of^(222)Rn and^(220)Rn progeny in *** verification experiments were conducted using an alpha *** experimental results demonstrate that the concentrations of^(222)Rn and^(220)Rn progeny calculated by the new method align more closely with the actual circumstances than those calculated by the total count method,and their relative uncertainties are all within±16%.Furthermore,the measurement time was reduced to 90 min,representing an acceleration of 84%.The improved capability of the new method in distinguishing alpha particles with similar energies emitted from ^(218)Po and^(212)Bi,both approximately 6 MeV,contributed to realizing more accurate *** proposed method has the potential advantage of measuring relatively low concentrations of^(222)Rn and^(220)Rn progeny in air more quickly via air filtration.

In the process of image understanding, the human visual system (HVS) performs multiscale analysis on various objects. HVS primarily focuses on marginally conspicuous image patches located within or around distinct objects rather than scanning the image pixels point by point. Inspired by the HVS mechanism, in this paper, we aimed to describe and exploit multiscale decomposition-based patch detection models for automatic visual feature representation and object localization in images. Our investigation into mimicking and modeling the HVS to capture conspicuous sparse patches and their spatial distribution clues makes a profound contribution to the automatic comprehension and characterization of images by machines. This study demonstrates that the sparse patch-based visual representation with spatial center cues is intrinsically tolerant to object positioning and understanding beyond object variations in spatial position, multiresolution, and chrominance, which has significant implications for many vision-based automatic object grabbing and perception applications, such as robotics, human -machine interaction, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The off situ accurate reconstruction of the core neutron field is an important step in realizing real-time reactor *** existing off situ reconstruction method of the neutron field is only applicable to cases wherein a single region changes at a specified location of the ***,when the neutron field changes are complex,the accurate identification of the individual changed regions becomes challenging,which seriously affects the accuracy and stability of the neutron field ***,this study proposed a dual-task hybrid network architecture(DTHNet)for off situ reconstruction of the core neutron field,which trained the outermost assembly reconstruction task and the core reconstruction task jointly such that the former could assist the latter in the reconstruction of the core neutron field under core complex ***,to exploit the characteristics of the ex-core detection signals,this study designed a global-local feature upsampling module that efficiently distributed the ex-core detection signals to each reconstruction unit to improve the accuracy and stability of *** experiments were performed on the simulation datasets of the CLEAR-I reactor to verify the accuracy and stability of the proposed *** results showed that when the location uncertainty of a single region did not exceed nine and the number of multiple changed regions did not exceed ***,the reconstructed ARD was within 2%,RD_(max)was maintained within 17.5%,and the number of RD≥10%was maintained within ***,when the noise interference of the ex-core detection signals was within±2%,although the average number of RD≥10%increased to 16,the average ARD was still within in 2%,and the average RD_(max)was within 22%.Collectively,these results show that,theoretically,the DTHNet can accurately and stably reconstruct most of the neutron field under certain complex core changes.

Dear Editor,This letter studies output consensus problem of heterogeneous linear multiagent systems over directed graphs. A novel adaptive dynamic event-triggered controller is presented based only on the feedback combination of the agent's own state and neighbors' output,which can achieve exponential output consensus through intermittent communication. The controller is obtained by solving two linear matrix equations, and Zeno behavior is excluded.
