Hyperuricemia has been identified as the second most common metabolic disease,increasing the incidence of gout,hypertension,kidney disease,and cardiovascular *** acid bacteria have been attracting considerable interest in anti-hyperuricemia given various probiotic *** this study,sixteen lactic acid bacteria were selected from one hundred ninety-two isolates through whole-cell catalysis,affordingβ-D-glucosidase activity of 0.1652-0.3346 U/mg wet cells,degradation rate of inosine-transformed rate of 1.2125-4.6555 mM/h and guanosine-transformed rate of 0.2904-1.8303 mM/*** sixteen candidates’acid tolerance,bile resistance,hydrophobicity,and auto-aggregation were further *** to the results of the seven indexes,the five top-scored strains were viewed as the potentially functional probiotics for anti-hyperuricemia via the comprehensive evaluation of principal component *** assay showed that the adhesion of the five strains to Caco-2 cells ranged from 2.67%to 8.67%.Moreover,the five strains can decrease the adhesion of *** to Caco-2 cells by 36.67-98.73%through competition inhibition,exclusion inhibition,and replacement ***,the five probiotics were sensitive to some of the antibiotics examined and were innocuous with nonhemolytic *** preliminary works indicate that the five candidates could show a good potential application against hyperuricemia.

Single-sensor monitoring of flood events at high spatial and temporal resolutions is difficult because of the lack of data owing to instrument defects,cloud contamination,imaging ***,combining multisensor data provides an impressive solution to this *** this study,11 synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images and 13 optical images were collected from the Google Earth Engine(GEE)platform during the Sardoba Reservoir flood event to constitute a time series ***-based and indices-based methods were used for SAR and optical data,respectively,to extract the water *** final sequential flood water maps were obtained by fusing the results from multisensor time series *** show that,when compare with the Global Surface Water Dynamic(GSWD)dataset,the overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient of the water body extent extracted by our methods range from 98.8%to 99.1%and 0.839 to 0.900,*** flooded extent and area increased sharply to a maximum between May 1 and May 4,and then experienced a sustained decline over *** flood lasted for more than a month in the lowland areas in the north,indicating that the northern region is severely *** cover changes could be detected using the temporal spectrum analysis,which indicated that detailed temporal information benefiting from the multisensor data is highly important for time series analyses.

Evolution of Cenozoic sedimentary architecture in Central and Southern South China Sea basins

The Central and Southern South China Sea(CSSCS) has a complex tectonic dynamic background and abundant oil and gas resources, which has always been a hot topic of academic and industrial ***, systematic analyses are still lacking regarding its sediment filling structure and evolution, mostly due to limited borehole penetration and poor quality of seismic reflection data for deeply buried sequences. No consensus has been reached yet on the sedimentary infilling processes, which impeded the reconstruction of the palaeogeography of Southeast Asia and the oil-and-gas exploration undertakings. Here, we illustrate the Cenozoic sedimentary evolution of the CSSCS region by synthesizing relevant data from previous literature and our own observations and displaying the evolution of depositional systems in sequential reconstructions. Besides, the controlling factors of preferred sedimentary scenarios in the CSSCS incorporate the latest interpretations of the spreading of South China Sea(SCS) as well as the demise of the hypothetical Proto-South China Sea(PSCS). The results show that there are three types of sedimentary basins in the CSSCS(foreland,strike-slip, and rift basins) with different sedimentary filling structures. The foreland basins formed a depositional pattern of ‘transition from deep water to shallow water environments', dominated by deep-water depositional systems which were formed before the Early Oligocene with submarine fans developed. Later,the foreland basins were gradually dominated by shallow-water depositional systems with deltas and shallow marine facies. The strike-slip basins showed the depositional architecture of ‘transition from lake to marine environments', i.e. the basins were dominated by lacustrine deposits during the Eocene and evolved into the marine depositional environment since Oligocene with delta developed in the western part of the basin. During powder production,the pre-alloyed powder composition often deviates from the target composition leading to undesirable properties of additive manufacturing(AM)***,we developed a method to perform high-throughput calculation and uncertainty quantification by using a CALPHAD-based ICME framework(CALPHAD:calculations of phase diagrams,ICME:integrated computational materials engineering)to optimize the composition,and took the high-strength low-alloy steel(HSLA)as a case *** analyzed the process–structure–property relationships for 450,000 compositions around the nominal composition of *** that are critical for the performance,such as yield strength,impact transition temperature,and weldability,were evaluated to optimize the *** the same uncertainty as to the initial composition,and optimized average composition has been determined,which increased the probability of achieving successful AM builds by 44.7%.The present strategy is general and can be applied to other alloy composition optimization to expand the choices of alloy for additive *** a method also calls for high-quality CALPHAD databases and predictive ICME models.

Automatic program repair techniques, which target to generate correct patches for real-world defects automatically, have gained a lot of attention in the last decade. Many different techniques and tools have been proposed and developed. However, even the most sophisticated automatic program repair techniques can only repair a small portion of defects while producing a large number of incorrect patches.A possible reason for the low performance is the test suites of real-world programs are usually too weak to guarantee the behavior of a program. To understand to what extent defects can be fixed with exiting test suites, we manually analyzed 50 real-world defects from Defects4J, where a large portion(i.e., 82%) of them were correctly fixed. This result suggests that there is much room for the current automatic program repair techniques to improve. Furthermore, we summarized seven fault localization and seven patch generation strategies that are useful in localizing and fixing these defects, and compared those strategies with current techniques. The results indicate potential directions to improve automatic program repair in the future.

Rain-on-snow(ROS)events can cause rapid snowmelt,leading to flooding and avalanches in the pan-Arctic and can also lead to starvation and the death of massive *** products(e.g.,ERA-I,ERA5-land,JRA55,MERRA2)are the primary source data for the research about ROS events in the large-scale ***,the accuracy and reliability of reanalyses have never been evaluated with respect to the determination of terrestrial ROS *** present study aims to statistically evaluate the performance of reanalysis datasets in identifying ROS events with different criteria based on in-situ rainfall data and MODIS snow cover *** results show that all reanalysis datasets exhibit poor performance(Recall≤0.16,Kappa coefficient≤0.26,F-score≤0.42,MCC≤0.33)in all criteria in the pan-Arctic,mainly due to the low accuracy of rainfall data(r≤0.56).Nevertheless,the spatial distribution pattern and hot spots of ROS from all reanalysis datasets are essentially *** hot spots of ROS are mainly located on the coast of Alaska,Norway,and *** reanalyses demonstrate an increase in rainy days,but there is little overall change in ROS events due to the reduction in snow cover *** work suggests that none of the current reanalyses are reliable in the determination of ROS events due to the poor representation of the rainfall parameterization *** development of alternative strategies that can investigate ROS events at large-scale is urgently needed in a changing Arctic under rapid warming.
