Chronic intermittent hypoxia(CIH),a principal pathophysiological aspect of obstructive sleep apnea(OSA),is associated with cognitive *** evidence suggests that a combination of Shengmaisan and Liuwei Dihuang Decoctions(SMS-LD)can enhance cognitive function by nourishing yin and strengthening the *** study aimed to assess the efficacy and underlying mechanisms of SMS-LD in addressing cognitive impairments induced by *** exposed C57BL/6N mice to CIH for five weeks(20%-5%O_(2),5 min/cycle,8 h/day)and administered SMS-LD intragastrically(15.0 or 30 g·kg^(-1)·day)30 min before each CIH ***,AG490,a JJanus kinase 2(JAK2)inhibitor,was administered via intracerebroventricular *** function was evaluated using the Morris water maze,while synaptic and mitochondrial structures were examined by transmission electron *** stress levels were determined using DHE staining,and the activation of the erythropoietin(ER)/ER receptor(EPOR)/JAK2 signaling pathway was analyzed through immunohistochemistry and Western *** further investigate molecular mechanisms,HT22 cells were treated in vitro with either SMS-LD medicated serum alone or in combination with AG490 and then exposed to CIH for 48 *** results indicate that SMS-LD significantly mitigated CIH-induced cognitive impairments in ***,SMS-LD treatment enhanced dendritic spine density,ameliorated mitochondrial dysfunction,reduced oxidative stress,and activated the EPO/EPOR/JAK2 signaling ***,AG490 negated SMS-LD’s neuroprotective and cognitive improvement effects under CIH *** findings suggest that SMS-LD’s beneficial impact on cognitive impairment and synaptic and mitochondrial integrity under CIH conditions may predominantly be attributed to the activation of the EPO/EPOR/JAK2 signaling pathway.

Ginsenoside Rb1 alleviates chronic intermittent hypoxia-induced diabetic cardiomyopathy in db/db mice by regulating the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase/Nrf2/heme oxygenase-1 signaling pathway

OBJECTIVE:To examine the protective effect of ginsenoside Rb1(Rb1),the main component of Renshen(Radix Ginseng),on cardiomyopathy in db/db mice exposed to chronic intermittent hypoxia(CIH)and explore the potential underlying mechanism of Rb1 in treating diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM).METHODS:The db/db mice were randomly separated into five groups:normal control group,model group,Rb120 mg/kg group,Rb140 mg/kg group,and glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)*** were exposed to aircondition or CIH for 8 weeks,and Rb1 and GLP-1 were administrated before CIH exposure every *** glucose tolerance test(OGTT),intraperitoneal insulin tolerance test(IPITT),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were detected to evaluate glycolipid *** level of insulin was detected by a mouse enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Cardiac function was detected by echocardiography,and myocardial pathology was observed by hematoxylin-eosin and Masson *** expression of collagenⅠand collagenⅢwas detected by *** monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)/Nrf2/heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)signaling pathway was detected by Western blot and ***:Rb1 treatment could improve glucose tolerance and the level of cardiac function indexes,and inhibit the level of oxidative stress indexes and the expression of collagenⅠand collagenⅢ.Moreover,Rb1 treatment enhanced AMPK phosphorylation and increased Nrf2 and HO-1 ***:Rb1 treatment alleviated CIH-induced diabetic cardiomyopathy and glycolipid metabolism disorders in db/db mice by inhibiting oxidative stress and regulating the AMPK/Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway.

目的通过建立高尿酸血症(hyperuricemia,HUA)大鼠模型,探讨葛根菊苣茯苓方的降尿酸作用与可能机制。方法将42只SD雄性大鼠,随机分为正常组、模型组、葛根菊苣茯苓方低、中、高剂量(6.15 g/kg、12.3 g/kg、24.6 g/kg)组,别嘌醇组(0.03 g/kg),正常+葛根菊苣茯苓方组(正常给药组)。除正常组与正常给药组外,其余各组大鼠每日灌胃氧嗪酸钾1.5 g/kg、腺嘌呤0.1 g/kg建立HUA模型,连续21 d。从第8天开始,除正常组与模型组外,其余各组大鼠每日灌胃葛根菊苣茯苓方及别嘌醇干预治疗,持续14 d。造模结束后,采集大鼠血液,测定血尿酸(serum uric acid,SUA)、血肌酐(serum creatinine,SCr)、血尿素氮(blood urea nitrogen,BUN)、腺苷脱氨酶(adenosine deaminase,ADA)、黄嘌呤氧化酶(xanthine oxidase,XOD)、谷草转氨酶(aspartate aminotransferase,AST)、谷丙转氨酶(alanine aminotransferase,ALT)含量;取大鼠肝脏及肾脏,计算肾脏系数;苏木精-伊红(hematoxylin-eosin staining,HE)染色观察肾脏、肝脏病理变化;Western blot检测肾脏中有机阴离子转运体(organic anion,OAT)1、OAT3、尿酸转运体(recombinant urate transporter,URAT)1、三磷酸腺苷结合转运蛋白(ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member,ABCG)2、葡萄糖转运蛋白(glucose transporter type,GLUT)9蛋白表达。结果与正常组比较,模型组大鼠肾脏表面皱缩,色泽变浅,肾小管代偿性扩张,可见尿酸盐结晶;肾脏质量增加(P<0.05),肾脏系数增大(P<0.05);血清SUA、BUN、XOD、SCr、ADA含量与肾脏组织URAT1、GLUT9蛋白表达显著上升(P<0.05);ABCG2、OAT1、OAT3蛋白表达显著降低(P<0.05)。与模型组比较,治疗组大鼠上述指标有明显改善,且差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论葛根菊苣茯苓方可以通过调节尿酸盐转运相关蛋白降低HUA大鼠的高尿酸水平。

Photocatalytic activation of sulfite by N-doped porous biochar/MnFe_(2)O_(4) interface-driven catalyst for efficient degradation of tetracycline

A novel photo-catalytic system composed of N-doped biochars(NBCs),MnFe_(2)O_(4) and sulfite activation under ultraviolet(NBCs/MnFe_(2)O_(4)/sulfite/UV)was constructed to realize the efficient eliminate of tetracycline(TC).As the carrier of MnFe_(2)O_(4),NBCs were synthesized from alfalfa,which has large specific surface area,graphite like structure and hierarchical porous *** adsorption isotherm indicated that NBCs/MnFe_(2)O_(4)-2:1 had the best adsorption performance for TC(347.56 mg g^(-1)).Through synergistic adsorption and photocatalysis,the removal rate of TC reached 84%,which was significantly higher than that of MnFe_(2)O_(4).Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and Photoluminescence(PL)characterization results showed that the introduction of NBCs improved the separation efficiency of photogenerated electron and hole pairs and enhanced the photocatalytic ***,the adsorption,degradation mechanism and degradation path of TC by the catalyst were systematically analyzed by coupling HPLC–MS measurement with the theoretical *** the advantages of excellent degradation performance,low cost,easy separation and environmental friendliness of NBCs/MnFe_(2)O_(4),this work was expected to provide a new path for the practical application of biochar.

This paper concerns the linearization problem on rational maps of degree d≥2 and polynomials of degree d>2 from the perspective of *** authors introduce a set l_(∞) of irrational numbers and show that if α∈l_(∞),then any rational map is not linearizable and has infinitely many cycles in every neighborhood of the fixed point with multiplier λ=e^(2πiα),Adding more constraints to cubic polynomials,they discuss the above problems by polynomial-like *** the family of polynomials,with the help of Yoccoz's method,they obtain its maximum dimension of the set in which the polynomials are non-linearizable.

Differences in Variations of Long-Lived and Short-Lived Summer Heat Waves during 1981-2020 over Eastern China and Their Corresponding Large-Scale Circulation Anomalies

Using daily maximum temperature(Tmax)data from 516 observation stations in eastern China from 1981 to 2020,this study employed a relative threshold method to define short-and long-lived heat waves(HWs)by considering regional climate differences to investigate the spatial characteristics and evolution of large-scale circulation during summer *** results demonstrated spatial disparities in the frequency distribution of HWs of different durations and differences in the magnitude of duration and intensity between short-and long-lived *** orthogonal function analysis revealed three dominant spatial modes for both short-and long-lived *** first mode showed that short-lived HWs occur prominently in both northern and southern regions,whereas long-lived HWs mainly occur in the northern *** second mode was characterized by a meridional dipole pattern in both *** third mode exhibited a quadrupole pattern for short-lived HWs and a tripole pattern for long-lived *** in the center locations of anomalies in the 500-hPa geopotential height and 850-hPa wind fields significantly influenced the temperature and precipitation anomaly distribution of typical HWs by affecting the warm column in the lower troposphere,cloud distribution,and moisture ***,the atmospheric circulation evolution processes of typical HWs associated with the different modes of long-and short-lived HWs were linked to distinct teleconnection *** the three modes of long-lived(short-lived)HWs,there was stronger(weaker)wave flux activity with multiple(single)propagation *** westward Atlantic wave train activity at 300 hPa triggered the synergistic action of meridional and zonal wave fluxes,favoring the strengthening and maintenance of positive anomalies in geopotential height of 500 *** may have contributed to the formation of long-lived *** findings provide valuable insights to enhance our understanding and prediction of summer

Soft coarse-grained particle model for particle-fluid systems

By modeling a group of neighboring real particles as a single coarse-grained particle(CGP),discrete particle method(DPM)is now capable of simulating industrial-scale particle-fluid ***,a systematic approach to determine the CGP properties and develop their interaction models is still lacking,which casts uncertainty on the predictivity of the *** this study,collisions between predefined particle groups are analyzed to construct kernel functions for modeling the CGPs and then the model parameters are determined by equating the statistical properties of the CGPs and the real particles in the physical process *** approach is implemented for homogeneous cooling of granular gas,then demonstrated effective in simulating experimental fluidized beds.
